We took 46 girls plus adult helpers to a netball weekend in Shropshire, using The Coach Company for both journeys. Both the coaches arrived in good time. The coaches were comfortable, smart and clean. Both drivers were very polite and helpful. We would certainly use again and recommend to others.

I had to book a coach for 35 people at the last minute as I had been let down by another company called taxicode. The coach was to take people from my father's funeral to the after celebration of life. It was 3 days before when the other company let me down. I was in a complete panic when I phoned the coach company who sorted it out for me within a couple of hours. They corresponded very well making me feel very reassured. The driver Jay was excellent. I cannot recommend this company highly enough

We used the Manchester coach company for our transfer to Manchester airport as there was 24 of us they arrived on time took all 24 plus golf sets and luggage , they picked us up 1 week later o time and again in a great clean coach , the drivers on both journeys were very helpful and polite , I would recommend this company to anyone looking for transport for any size party .

Everything from the driver to coach was efficient on time which is what you need when organising coach trip.

This company is not a coach company, they are a broker. They don't own coaches!

If you use them, you may get lucky and get what you asked for, but if you use the Coach Company alot, you will get issues with the coach turning up late, bad dangerous drivers, driver keeping you locked out of the coach, air conditioning leaking into the coach, the toilet not working, the microphone broke, driver getting lost, driver reversing into a car, the driver threatening to leave you all stranded in a village, gettting a coach designed for children (so tiny seats) or the coach just simply not turning up. All these have happenend to us this summer.

Edited after response: forgot to mention, when our coach didn't turn up, I called the coach company and the person I spoke to couldn't be bothered to help and hung up on me!

"The coach provided for your journey had 70 seats for 57 passengers, with the additional space intended to offer greater comfort for everyone on board." - this didn't work, an adult can't sit in a seat designed for children. For that trip, I ordered a 57 seater with a toilet, not a 70 seater for children, with no toilet.

The Coach Company don't communicate with the other coach companies they broker the jobs out to, the other companies they own (RideVoova, HorseFerry Coaches, A Class Corporate Travel), so as per my previous line:

The support from The Coach Company from start to finish, was excellent. Luke was patient and understanding of the organisational challenges. The minibus was immaculate, and extremely comfortable, and the driver KHAN was outstanding, putting the needs of the elderly passengers first at all times, from the temperature, to the position of his parking, making sure the vehicle was parked optimally for ease of embarkation and disembarking, and if course a smooth and pleasant drive.

The ops team were responded quickly our enquiry, and the booking process was quick and seamless.

Our coach drivers got us to our destination and back again, despite all the challenges that were against them on the day (fire on the motorway caused mayhem in the South West). The drivers were highly competent and professional and the coaches were comfortable, clean and of a good quality. Competitively priced too.

All in all, a great experience and I would highly recommend.

I cannot stress enough how disappointing our experience with The Coach Company was. After reading their glowing website and testimonials, I expected a professional and punctual service, especially given the importance of wedding day transport. What we received was the exact opposite.

Communication broke down completely after paying the deposit. Emails became curt and dismissive, and requests that should have been simple were met with resistance and rudeness.

On the day itself, our schedule was thrown into chaos. One coach was redirected to a different pickup location at the last minute, and the second coach arrived 40 minutes late with no notification. Guests were stranded, stressed, and left to scramble for alternative transport.

Multiple emails prior to the wedding, confirming arrangements, were completely ineffective; assurances of punctuality were meaningless.

This disorganisation caused a ripple effect across our wedding timeline, delaying our ceremony and creating unnecessary stress in what should have been joyful moments.

The compensation offered for this level of failure was insultingly low given the high cost we paid.

In short, The Coach Company is not reliable for wedding transport. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inability to deliver on basic promises meant that they negatively impacted our big day. I would strongly advise anyone planning a wedding to look elsewhere—this is one service you do not want to risk.

I would highly recommend The Coach Company, our driver was very accommodating and provided an excellent service! They ensured to confirm all our details ahead of time so that our journeys ran smoothly on the day and were sure to stay in contact around pickup times. It was very helpful for our family event to be transported there and back and the price was great. I will definitely be using the service again in the future! Thanks again guys!

Prior to the event, I had specifically requested that our group be allowed to consume alcohol on the coach, which was agreed upon in advance. However, when the driver arrived on the day, he informed us that the job had been outsourced to another company, and this agreement was not recognised.

The driver then demanded £200 in cash, stating it was necessary for the journey to proceed. He was unable to provide a receipt, which, in hindsight, seemed highly suspicious. Despite our concerns, we chose not to let it ruin the day and paid the amount.

From the outset, the driver’s attitude was extremely rude and condescending. The condition of the bus was far below any acceptable standard. There was a large crack in the front window, raising serious safety concerns. The onboard toilet was unusable: the door wouldn’t lock, there was no lighting, and no toilet paper. When asked about this, the driver dismissively stated he was "not obligated to provide any."

We also requested a fully functioning PA system ahead of time, but this was not provided either.

Another serious issue was the security of our belongings. During the event, some group members returned to the coach to retrieve a phone left behind. They found the coach completely unlocked, with the driver asleep in the luggage area. They were able to retrieve the phone without the driver noticing, which is a significant security risk.

After the event, the group returned to the drop-off point and made sure the coach was clean, with no spillages. However, the driver falsely claimed drinks had been spilled and refused to return our deposit.

Overall, the service provided was completely unacceptable.

To make matters worse, when we raised these concerns with the company, they were dismissive and unhelpful. They showed no willingness to investigate the issues and even refused to provide timestamps for the photos they claimed showed the coach was left "dirty." Also, deeming the vehicle safe to operate with a huge crack in the window.

We will now be pursing this matter further with the appropriate regulatory bodies.

The coach we were provided was completely unacceptable. It arrived dirty, with a smashed window, out-of-service toilet facilities, and — most alarmingly — a driver found asleep in the luggage with coach unlocked with our belongings onboard.

On arrival, the driver Osman demanded a £200 cash payment outside of the agreed terms and conditions, refusing to transport us until this was paid. They withheld returning this payment to us which was evident from the moment it was handed over.

When we raised a formal complaint, the company failed to provide any evidence to support their claims, while disregarding our own detailed complaint and clear photographic evidence. Their handling of the matter demonstrated a lack of transparency and accountability.

This experience represents a serious breach of agreement and raises concerns about both safety standards and business practices.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Spillages happen on any bus carrying passengers — that is part of operating such a service, not a grounds for penalizing customers.

As for the cracked window, whether or not it was in the driver’s line of sight is irrelevant — it was still a defect in the vehicle provided. Passing off a damaged bus and then implying that this somehow justifies keeping my bond is, frankly, unacceptable especially when the "bond" is a off the books cash payment outside of your invoicing.

Your response reads less like a resolution and more like an attempt to hide behind policy rather than engage with legitimate concerns. I will be sharing this experience widely so others can make an informed decision before booking with you.

So glad we went with TheCoachCompany to transport our guests to our wedding venue and also to transport them back home.
From initial booking to execution on the day, they delivered a seamless service, always providing communications to make sure all details were correct.

A client of ours asked us to book a VIP coach for one of their trips.

When the coach turned up it was an old coach with newspapers all over the dash and a driver in flip flops!!

That was only the start of the issues with the coach. The client turned the coach away and personally booked alternative transport. We think this clearly shows it was not fit for the purpose we had booked it for and paid.

As a small business we have lost out finacially as The Coach Company failed to listen to us (after being a client of theirs for a while). I would never use them for a booking again and disappointing to know thats how they treat their customers!

I guess you only find out any company they treat their customers when things go wrong!

Excellent company and service. When looking to hire a coach with another company I was late in booking and they had no availability. Pete was extremely helpful and found a coach within my budget. Operations kept me up to date with coach driver and details and reassured me if anything happened they are available 24/7.

We recently traveled with the Coach Company and the entire experience was absolutely excellent from start to finish. The booking process was smooth and efficient, and the customer service team was helpful and responsive.
The coach itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — perfect for a long journey. Everything ran on time, and we felt safe and relaxed throughout the trip.
A special mention must go to our driver, Mike, who truly went above and beyond. They were professional, courteous, and incredibly friendly. Their driving was smooth and confident, and they made sure everyone on board was well taken care of. You could really tell they take pride in what they do.
