Our large family’s pre Christmas celebration! Thankyou Ben for allowing us to experience your comfortable and spacious family home. Wonderful for our large family gathering and extra accommodation up to 31 ideal for large groups of people. The facilities were first class, from the bedrooms/bathrooms to the kitchen, dining rooms and games and cinema room.
Our family of all ages had a fabulous time and furthermore on our last day were all talking of returning to Tone Dale house for another family stay. Thanking Bev and the admin team also for ALL your support and information

We stayed at Tone Dale House for 8 nights for educational purposes, it was around 25 of us. The venue is absolutely beautiful, both the interiors and exteriors. It is well equipped with everything we could have needed for that time. The owners are super helpful and flexible. A professional chef hired by us was able to cook for all of us to the entirety of the stay in the venue's kitchen. There were big spaces for us to do the classes but also lounge. Would definitely recommend staying at Tone Dale!

I booked Somerset Manor to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday. Dealing with Beverley at The Big House Company was a pleasure and she was always able to assist with any query that I had. The house was fabulous and exactly as described on the website. I would certainly have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others.

We had a friends reunion of five families, 22 people, for a weekend and it was fantastic. From the very beginning Big House provided fantastic service and flexibility to meet our needs. Everything went really well and all their input was helpful. The house itself was amazing. The rooms all have ensuites and there was plenty of space for all of us. We were there in November and even though it rained all weekend, it was no problem, there was so much to do. It would be even more amazing in fair weather as the grounds are well kept, with loads of space. We had a chef come in for one night, which really topped the weekend off. Again, Big House helped facilitate that.
All in all a fantastic weekend and great experience. Would definitely go again.

Have just had the most amazing weekend at Tone Dale House celebrating my husbands birthday. The house, location, rooms, hot tub, grounds made it a weekend to remember. We stayed at the Manor in the Cotswold and the property was perfectly suited to our family weekend. Responses to requests and information were prompt and everyone really enjoyed the stay. The bedroom layout is quirky so check it works for your guests.

We stayed at Tatham House in Somerset, one of the beautiful houses available to hire through The Big House Co. We hired the house for a team retreat and boy did it deliver! The house was stunning and just as described on the website. The whole team thoroughly enjoyed our stay and made the most of the house's facilities and gorgeous grounds. We were even blessed with sunshine.

Hiring the house was made easy by the responsive team (Victoria and Beverley) at The Big House Co. They quickly answered my questions and were able to suggest activities and caterers that we may wish to use to enhance our stay at the house.

I would happily hire Tatham House again for a work event or a personal occasion, it's such a special place with so much to offer.

A great weeks stay at Tatham House, we were a family group of 18, spanning 2 to 70yrs old, three generations in total celebrating some big birthdays . The house worked so well in mixed weather, the indoor pool was used every day as were the games rooms, cinema rooms and the extensive grounds. We hired a bouncy castle from Bounce-On which was great and also had a mornings Archery with Birds Hill Days in the grounds. Beverley and Victoria answered all our questions leading up to the stay which was very helpful. We made some wonderful memories.

I have to say what a excellent company The Big House are, their services are second to none and Victoria as being more that helpful, I booked a property in August 2023 for August 2024, due to illness I had to cancel earlier this year and Victoria and her team have been all very supportive, I will have no hesitation in booking with the company again in the near future.

Our family of 18 stayed at Tatham House in January 2024, ages ranging from 12 to 76 and having a couple of bedrooms on the ground floor was very helpful. The house was spotless and very well equipped and perfect for big gatherings. We used a local company to cater for us Saturday evening which made our stay extra special. The swimming pool was well used and the kids loved playing football in the grounds and making use of the pool table and table tennis facilities in the basement. We 100% recommend this property!

It's hard to know where to start with our amazing stay at Tone Dale House. This was a family gathering of 21 people over 3 generations and the house was perfect for all of us! Everyone had something to do at all times, whether it was chilling in the large living room catching up, playing pool or ping pong in the games room, to gaming or watching movies in the cinema room. We also then used the hot tub on multiple occasions and walked around the beautiful gardens.
On the Saturday evening we had a great big family meal in the dining room that had been all set up for us and was a perfect evening.
All the bedrooms and bathrooms were comfy and had everything you needed. Tone Dale house is steeped in history and is such an amazing house to stay in.
Beverley and the staff at the big house company are super helpful in every way.

We would love to come back again. The house ticked all the boxes for a big family get together.

We booked for a long weekend and had the best time! Easy booking and communication with everyone involved really helpful. Showed around on arrival then left in peace with a contact number should we need anything. Lovely family weekend plenty of space for all to gather and have space too! Child friendly with built in stair gates and high chairs. Great facilities.

House was perfect, having stayed at a number of large houses this was brilliant, well thought out for the needs of 30 people. The booking team made it very easy and were extremely responsive. Highly recommend.

The booking process through Big House was smooth and straightforward. They were in touch in good time with the deposit request and also providing check in information etc on a timely and efficient basis. We had a very good week in Haygrass.

We Spent the weekend at Tone Dale, Somerset and had a wonderful time. The house is amazing with plenty to do and the gardens are beautiful. Beverley and Victoria were also really easy to contact before our trip and all information given prior to arrival was useful.

Wonderful few days spent at Tone Dale, Somerset. The house felt spacious and full of character. There was so much to do in the garden and house that we were content to just be there. Suited all perfectly, from aged 3 to 90.
