Been trying to get my kitchen tap replaced for some time now and kept putting it off because I had no idea how to find the right part and all local places could not help. Took a few pictures and emailed tapmagician and then spoke to Lisa on the phone. Received emailed within minutes with details of the part I needed. 24 hours later, replaced the part myself and no more leaking tap!

Disappointed with the product quality, the price was fairly high for one tap cartridge plus delivery and it only lasted 17 months and we have had to have it replaced already.

OK, this company gets really good review so why am I bothering to stroke them? Because I had a problem with a beautiful tap in my kitchen and was on the point of replacement, could not source correct cartridge for the cold side. Lived with a wonky tap for ages, plumber could not fix. Local shop (Drakes; Uckfield then suggested Tap Magician, who are only a few miles distant. I took the components to Burgess Hill HQ and showed to Jack who was standing in front of a hangar full of tap bits. He not only found a part which I have just fitted after he gave comprehensive plumbing briefing, also gave me some washers and a suggestion for a helpful bodge to improve fit.

Result: working tap just brought back from the dead. I am ecstatic. The thing is, this is a company that takes time to get it right and then charged less than the price I was paying from the tap manufacturer who kept sending the wrong bits, all with pleasant and helpful demeanour.

Easy to find what I needed, processed and delivered quickly.

Ordered over the bank holiday, website was very useful to match the Bristan part number on my old valve. Arrived Wednesday morning, so as expected. Had a quick query (had a screw in the top which I didn't need) which they answered in seconds on WhatsApp and fitted in minutes and have a working cold tap again.

There are thousands of different tap cartridges so it’s not easy to identify the one you need. Tap Magician do this extremely well, and when you think about it it’s a darned sight easier than changing the tap. Excellent!

For me the experience has not been fantastic, i have had 2 issues on products purchased, 1 was resolved where the turn on the tap was wrong, the second is where the valve has failed after 24 months, i did contact TM and they advised the warranty is only 12 months so have to purchase again or service the old one, im no expert so wont be doing that, my frustration is that these are supposed to be market leading cartridge replacements but the OEM lasted 48 months, this is half the time so not great

i appreciate the 20 % discount but that not really the point, also im not experienced to take things apart which you suggest is easy and a satisfactory resolution,

I came to TM as experts and all im pointing out to others is that OEM might be better and to purchase wisely
