Tailor Made rail made out our itinerary exactly as we needed with no early or late travel. Hotels and rail journeys were excellent. The couple of problems we had during the holiday were sorted immediately by them. Very helpful and excellent service

A holiday couldn't be easier. Tailer made rail had everything organised to make our holiday as stress free as possible. The choice of hotels & locations was wonderful .
We could easily change, lengthen or amend any part of the holiday easily.

Wonderful experience …
Everything that Tailor Made Rail could influence was done extremely well. All staff we spoke to were very professional and helpful. Trains booked and reserved seating perfect. Paperwork spot on.
Hotels better than we anticipated.
All very good value for money.
We have never previously had a train holiday but after our recent experience would certainly do so again and would have no hesitation using Taylor Made Rail.

Rail trip to Sicily
We took the rail trip to Sicily and back. It was the second rail holiday we have booked through Tailor Made Rail. The service was excellent and all trains and connections worked well. We were able to break or journey in Italy and stay where we wanted in Sicily. The choice of hotels was very good. We would have no hesitation in recommending TMR.

Excellent service meant a wonderful holiday. Hotel choices were great. Travel arrangements were also perfect even when trains were disrupted in Germany an alternative arrangement was quickly made. I strongly recommend Tailor Made.

A splendid city tour by train
The hotels were all very good, near the station and near city centres. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The train journey was very detailed, with reasonable times between connections. When there was an unavoidable delay of 2 hours, I rang the office and the young lady emailed me a new journey with booked seats in a very short time. My only criticism is that the journey plan on the booking confirmation is in very small print owing to the amount of information needed. A landscape orientation might be more suitable.

Our rail adventure to Italy 2026.
The planning and organisation of our itinerary were faultless resulting in a brilliant holiday to Italy that we will never forget. It was particularly good having one TMR agent working with us at every stage. Her name was Emily Rae. We'll probably travel again with TMR in the future.

This was my second trip booked with Tailor Made Rail, this to Poland and the Baltic countries. I truly appreciated their willingness and flexibility to craft a trip that exactly met my wishes.
I think hotel selection is one of TMR's strengths. The hotels they booked were well-located, unique, and interesting. Rail reservations were easy to follow and at convenient times. The needed transfers were explained clearly.
Overall, I think TMR is a great partner in making one's travel dreams come true.

I requested a custom trip to…
I requested a custom trip to Switzerland from Nice by rail. Every hotel booked was awesome. They were accommodating, came with breakfast, clean, safe and easy walking or tram distance from rail station. The Swiss rail pass was super easy to use not only for trains, but for buses, trams, gondolas and many museums. I had a wonderful trip and never would have found such wonderful hotels on my own. Seamless rail travel experience of a…
Seamless rail travel experience of a mini grand tour of Venice, Rome and Florence Our connections worked like clockwork and our hotels were brilliant. The day to day instructions were superb and helped make the journey so smooth … it felt like we had a tour guide helping us all the time. Also tips and advice were so good.

A wonderful holiday
TMR were very helpful in adapting this route to include more of the places we wanted to go to, it all worked very well. The train journeys were very scenic and straightforward, riding the train onto the ferry was a unique experience. Good, well placed hotels
