Friendly and very helpful contact Olivia answered all queries I had and helped put together as a birthday treat for my lady.

We have used Marvellous Escapes twice now and there is no doubt we will you then again next year. On both occasions we have given the team an idea of what we would like to do and they have created a bespoke holiday. The attention to detail is spot on, hotel location, train timing, private taxi's and private walking tours are all synchronised perfectly.
The constant support while you are on holiday is very reassuring, knowing the team is only a message away, gives you complete peace of mind.
All you have to do is concentrate on enjoying your self.

I did the Norway in a nutshell trip. I opted for the 5 days instead of 7 days (due to commitments at home). I highly recommend the 7 days. Due to the volume of travelling around Norway the extra 2 days would have been beneficial to fit in site-seeing excursion as would have allowed for an extra full day in Flam and Bergen so I was restricted on times and excursions available to me so I had to think on my feet and create my own excursions. I genuinely got to see and experience Norway at it's finest and have outstanding memories and photo's. Hayley was excellent as always (my 3rd ME trip). Documentation received ahead of the trip, calls prior to flight, whatsapp on hand whilst on the trip for any hiccups. There was a last minute change to my hotel due to a hospitality strike, 2 x changes to my trains with allocated seats. All issues resolved and communicated. The ME teams responded to whatsapp messages promptly. There is a lot of travel on this trip so be organised and well prepared. My 5 days involved Plane, Trains, boats, buses and trams.......but I added a few in to get as much tourist traps in as possible. Marvelous Escapes did another outstanding trip for me and made my birthday special. Thanks guys..........Already contemplating the Orient Express for my 4th trip :)

Hayley arranged our "Norway in a Nutshell" holiday. She did everything she could to make it a success. The documentation was complete, the hotels that she had selected for us very satisfactory and the travel arrangements perfect save for the train journey from Oslo to Myrdal which was chaotic, we believe , because carriages had been damaged in a fire and replaced by less comfortable commuter-train carriages. In all other respects Hayley did a great job for us, Thank you Hatley

Travel arrangements, accommodation, rail experience, locations and attention to detail were phenomenal. I went on a 2 week trip across switzerland last month, all booked through marvellous escapes. Laurie was excellent right from the start she planned my whole switzerland trip with things I had in mind to do while I was there, she listening patiently to my needs with hotels etc and that I wanted comfortable hotels and she couldn't of picked better hotels they was all truly excellent. My 2 week trip across switzerland was magical the scenery I seen was completely outstanding and left me speechless most of the times! The booking process was smooth I didn't need to do anything all was dealt with by laurie, the whole trip itself with train connections finding hotels and flights was all stress free paul was also excellent in his communications with me answering any questions i had throughout my trip. I would definitely book another rail holiday with marvelleous escapes at some point In the future and thanks again for creating such a memorable trip for me!

My initial enquiry was dealt with quickly and efficiently. After talking through my requirements with the Representative, they came back with an itinerary which was perfect. The booking process has also been very smooth. Just have to wait for our trip now!!

Marvellous Escapes planned our trip start to finish & all aspects were covered efficiently & with good communication. The Hotel In Vienna was spot on, great location & very friendly / attentive staff. All transfers were well organised & went smoothly. The Orient Express journey was a fantastic experience. Unfortunately, the company had to change our hotel in Paris at short notice & relocated us from the centre of Paris to one right next to the Eurostar train station. Which is handy for getting back to London, but we originally was planning to spend some time seeing a few sites in Paris which wasn’t possible. So, I would suggest that the overall package is considered when changes have to be made.

Hayley really listened to me about the type of holiday, my anxiety, and what we wanted and our budget
Then delivered a dream holiday.
The clear presentation with images and script was exactly what I needed rather than changing pages, to find out the information.
Everything matched just slightly shorter to hit the budget.

Brilliant holiday that suited what I wanted! Had an issue on the trip (due to strike action where I was travelling) and they answered quickly to help and sorted the issue for me no stress. All the hotels were excellent and the trains and other transport worked together smoothly. As a solo traveller I felt safe and supported, couldnt have asked for better!

From planning, to booking, to receiving pre-departure information and documentation, through to our trip itself, the service was first class. Our advisor, Laurie, listened to what we wanted and put together a suitable itinerary for our approval. Once approved, the booking process was easy and hassle-free. Pre-departure support was excellent with someone always available to answer any questions. Detailed documents were received in a timely manner both electronically and in hard copy form. Our trip to Switzerland itself ran like clockwork. As promised, hotels were extremely clean and comfortable, easy to find, and staffed by helpful and friendly people. Public transport ran on time, was clean and really easy to use. Pre-booked excursions were well planned and organised, which coupled with enough free time to relax and enjoy Switzerlands' beautiful surroundings, food and wine during the trip made for an extremely enjoyable experience.

We have just returned from a wonderful 9 nights rail journey through Switzerland organised by Hayley through marvellous escapes. This trip was for our golden wedding Anniversary Hayley made sure she informed each hotel we stayed at we was upgraded on one of the hotels and we were given a few little gifts from the other hotels which we were very touched by. The trips we went on by rail to see the mountains was amazing the views we got to see were breath taking thank you marvellous escapes and Hayley for making our holiday very special.

The booking experience was great, personalised , calls were on time, information was helpful. Even including dress code ideas relieving stress. Quotations were beautifully written selling you the vision of your expected experience rather than just a holiday. We had a fantastic experience in Norway booking the Norway in a Nutshell route with Marvellous Escapes. Laurie was extremely informative on all three locations. Our hotels were centrally located within easy access of the stations for our connections, and walking distance of many local attractions. The hop on/off buses recommended proved an excellent way to view the cities. Travel could not have been easier and Norway itself was stunning.
