IT all started off very well. Moulding impressions didn't really work for me so they invited me in to their studio for a 3D scan of my teeth, great! Treatment started a couple of weeks later. Reporting in to someone called Sarah who always advised my teeth are moving in the right direction...It came to the end of my treatment, however, my teeth did not end up like my "projected results". I questioned this and I was advised extra treatment will be needed for an additional cost. Oh hell no, I have paid to have my teeth straight. I even studied my last aligner, you can see it is not straight - it's a scam to get you to purchase more aligners. Such a shame. And then the communication breaks down when you fight your corner. Then I heard and saw they were no longer open for business. Their website showed this. Now it's running again? Are you open or closed as I still would like to get my full results which you promised me!

Initially they were very good. I got a decent deal and the retainers were created and sent in good time. The communication was OK, considering they use a fake name to give the impression it's the same person each time. My first concern was when I was 2 set from the end of my treatment when I realised that, although my teeth aesthetically are significantly better, my bite was terrible. Having completed my treatment, this has remained the case. Due to the bad bite, my teeth move toward their original position each day time when I am not wearing retainers, then at night my retainers move them back in to shape. This cannot be good for my teeth and the strength of the roots. Furthermore, my deal included 2 sets of 'final position' retainers. Only one was ever sent. I've have asked at least 5 times for the next retainer be sent. Initially they spun a yarn about their lab being upgraded and there would be an 8 week delay. now, they just completely ignore me. My advice would be to have this treatment via a dentist, ideally invisalign - I wish I had. You are getting what you pay for.

I have messaged multiple times about my braces that have snapped and still no one has got back to me my teeth how now moved back and I’ve had no help and no response to my messages , a waste of money cos my teeth have gone back cos most of my invisible braces have snapped including the retainers

Extremely Disappointed and Frustrated

I cannot express enough how disappointed I am with the service provided by Straight My Teeth. From the beginning, the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Once they received my payment, it seemed like they vanished into thin air, as my emails went unanswered, leaving me feeling helpless and ignored.

The primary purpose of seeking aligner treatment was to achieve better dental alignment and improve my smile. However, the aligners provided by Straight My Teeth were ill-fitting and uncomfortable, leading me to doubt their effectiveness. When I raised my concerns and requested replacements or a refund, their silence was deafening. It is astounding how a company can be so unresponsive and indifferent to the concerns of their paying customers.

After numerous attempts to contact them, I realized that my complaints were falling on deaf ears, and my hard-earned money was seemingly lost in their unscrupulous practices. The lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is deeply concerning. Such a company should not be allowed to continue operating, exploiting people without consequence.

Regrettably, I have been forced to initiate a dispute with my bank and even consider taking legal action to reclaim what is rightfully mine. The fact that this has become necessary is a testament to the abysmal service and deceptive practices employed by Straight My Teeth.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against engaging with Straight My Teeth for aligner treatment or any other services. The level of incompetence, lack of communication, and refusal to take responsibility for their shortcomings is appalling. Save yourself the frustration and potential financial loss, and seek reputable and reliable alternatives for your dental needs.

It is genuinely shocking that such a company continues to operate, seemingly undisturbed, while leaving a trail of dissatisfied and deceived customers in their wake. I hope that my review serves as a warning to others and encourages more oversight and scrutiny of businesses like Straight My Teeth.

All went well until I got to my 15th and final set of aligners. At the point where I should have finished my treatment, I was left unable to clench my teeth. One of my bottom teeth make contact with the top teeth. Meaning I couldn’t ever relax my mouth or eat.

So I was left with no option but to let my teeth return back to a position where I can actually function.

I sent two different emails explaining this and haven’t received any response. That’s why I’ve resorted to leaving a review.

I would have liked for them to offer me some sort of remedy after paying hard earned money, but not even a response.

I’d highly recommend using a company that actual does scans of your teeth. So you don’t experience this.

Straight My Teeth offers low-cost teeth aligners in a convenient in-home programme. Sadly, they are absolutely one to avoid.

I bought aligners from them in 2022. The initial set was okay, though it didn't get me 'straight teeth'. I told them this and was told I'd need to pay another £50 to get a few extra aligners to fix the problem. This should have been a red flag as they should have offered the corrective-aligners for free. But, £50 isn't all that much so I paid the extra amount and was sent more aligners.

After my next round, I was more satisfied. They weren't perfect, but they were better. I then went to order a replacement retainer... and found that they had gone out of business. No warning, no email saying customers wouldn't be able to get any retainers to KEEP their teeth straight. I tried emailing several times (there was no phone number given), messaging the owner on LinkedIn, even messaging him on IG to get an answer about what their customers are meant to do. Nothing. No reply.

Then, months later, with my teeth having now reverted back to their former state, I see they have relaunched their business with more expensive pricing. I email them to ask about the retainer and am ignored. I email again and again. Nothing. I am now having to seek legal help to find any kind of justice.

Please stay away from this company. They don't care about their customers at all.

Awful experience! They closed down the company mid treatment, all forms of communication cut and website removed. They have now magically reappeared but will not respond to any messages. I’m left mid treatment, teeth not at all straight!

I've had years of trying to get my money back from this company. I'm based outside the UK so it's proven to be impossible. They sold their 'service' to me dishonestly; it states on their website that you have to be over 14, yet my daughter was only 11 at the time of payment. I hadnt noticed this, but it wasn't pointed out to me when I asked.
I was worried about the level of quality and the erratic customer service, many things went wrong, so didn't go ahead with treatment. My repeated requests for a refund have been ignored. This company has no respect for their customers: They have painted me as some kind of hysterical woman just because I had the temerity to ask for my money back.
The whole thing has just been a complete waste of time and money. I am flabbergasted that they've been allowed to re-open and start taking other people's money!

I liked how quick they were to respond to initial interest and get payments and process started.
I disliked how once treatment began and you needed guidance they were more tricky to get hold of and less interested and helpful.

ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A 'COMPANY'. Communication and process started well (or so I thought) and then aligners started not fitting and/or breaking. Being told to go back a set then skip the ones that broke, which would obviously be a worse fit than before. The more problems I had, the harder it was to get a response. Managed to get them to agree to me going to staines (after a very rude phone call from them, blaming me for their shocking service) for a scan for some retainers that almost fit. The 'dentist' was extremely rude and purposely made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Then they closed down. I've got a set of broken retainers (never did receive my second set that I paid extra for) my teeth are nowhere near as projected, and the retainer fills with blood from around my teeth every time I put it back in.
I've now just seen that they have reopened business as of 2023.
Looking through the reviews, many are fake, as before. Previously people were even being told to remove their bad reviews otherwise they would not receive the additional treatment at the end if needed.
PLEASE AVOID!!!! I WISH I HAD!!!
I shall be contacting the ombudsman in regards to this and them restarting up and urge previous customers to do the same.

Avoid at all cost, They took down all ways to contact them. all their phone numbers don't work and they dont reply back to Emails.
When i started with them they were great about a year ago but the aligner didnt work for me and now they are completely ignoring me.
They have also increased the prices drastically.

Please avoid it is not worth your money. Just read the rest of the bad reviews you will see how consistent it is.

Teeth improperly aligned. Retainers breaking after days, with no response to multiple emails for extra pairs. I will likely have to spend a few hundred more with another company to fix my dental problems.

I had a very disappointing experience with StraightMyTeeth and would not recommend their services to anyone. I purchased their teeth aligners service but unfortunately, I never received the service that I paid for, and the company's support team was completely unresponsive to my inquiries. I tried reaching out to them multiple times via email but never received any response.

As a paying customer, I expected to receive the service within a reasonable time frame and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, as required by UK consumer law. However, I was left without any answers or aligners from the company for over a year.

I decided to request a refund, as I was no longer interested in continuing with their service, but even this proved to be a challenge. I had to hire a lawyer to pursue the matter on my behalf, and it was only after several attempts that the company finally agreed to process the refund.

Overall, my experience with StraightMyTeeth was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would caution anyone considering their services to be cautious and to thoroughly research the company before making any purchase.

The treatment did work which is why I've given two stars instead of one. The main issue I had though is that they don't make it clear that if you want to keep your teeth straight you will have to wear a retainer for the rest of your life. They also don't mention that they charge £150 for a set of retainers. I've found other companies online that will print a set for around £30.

When I first finished the treatment the retainers were wearing out after about two weeks so that's a lot of extra money.

I asked Straight My Smile to send me the data for the retainers so that I could get a set printed elsewhere but they claimed they no longer had it. This was very puzzling as they were still able to print me another set themselves which seemed strange if they no longer had the data. I asked them to explain this and they didn't reply.

As far as I'm concerned the data for printing the retainers is my property as I paid for the impression kit etc.

I'd recommend going with a company that is more upfront about the overall cost of the treatment or at least ask a lot of questions before handing over any money.

I purchased top and bottom aligners in December 2020 it took them 4 months to get aligners shipped to me and some were ill fitting so were sent back. As the weeks went by the aligners became even worse for fit and comfort. When I tried to contact them they kept asking for more pictures and for me to refer to the guidelines on how to use. After over a year of inadequate service and support I’ve given up, my teeth are not straighter and the aligners sit in a box under my bed. A complete waste of money!

Not very good paid £799 cash for top and bottom retainers. Finished them and my bottom teeth are still wonky . Emailed them twice. No reply . Lie and rip off . What a waste of money!!

I started with them in 2021. After all the steps I was not happy with the results. I contacted them and after email exchanges they gave me another set of aligners for a price! Not free! It should have been free because it didn't do what it was supposed to! 2 years later and I still don't have the desired look and now have to look else where. My teeth are not complicated and this procedure should have been straight forward. Word of advice. Take your money and business elsewhere. They are horrible at communicating!

They really don’t care after they take your money…
Same formulated emails arrive periodically… no real help .. but… pay peanuts…..
A lesson I won’t forget .
