Do not use! Paid for the full service and only received a quarter!
They sent a the first batch of aligners but never sent anymore though they said they were just making them. Lied and didn't inform me about the situation or that I won't be receiving them at all.

Awful awful experience. gave me a projection video which my teeth should have ended up looking like after paying £750. My teeth didn’t look like that by the end and then had to press them to be given more retainers which came squashed and broke in the post TWICE! They had the audacity to ask me for more money! Finally ended up getting the last set and they still didn’t end up looking like they were meant to!! Now been trying to get my money back since November and heard nothing. I’m having to go through citizens advice bureau to take them court to get my money back. Complete scam of a company, should be doing jail time!!

Great experience with Straight My Teeth. Very happy with the results, it was super easy and they were really helpful with all the questions I had.

I could not have been happier with the results and the price, Sarah was really helpful throughout and I do feel for the people that are midway through their treatment but companies go bust all the time, they clearly didn't have the marketing budget of their more expensive competition.

My smile looks great and the only thing I can't get are new retainers but I can get these from eBay at a cheaper price than I would have gotten them from SMT anyway. Just search of essix retainers.

I just checked the website as I needed new retainers and I saw they had gone bust. This saddened me because I had a very good experience with them.

My teeth were very crooked and I had some pretty big issues. My dentist when I was a teen told me that invisalign etc. Would never be an option and I hated the idea of braces. Straightmyteeth's aligners really did work for me and they went out of their way to get the adjustments out to me in Spain after Brexit rules made it virtually impossible.

After the treatment finished I got some composite resin on two broken teeth and some whitening and I have regularly been complemented on my smile since completing the treatment about a year ago.

They were the cheapest company around and I really identified with their ethos that a person's budget should not be a barrier to having a nice smile. Too often it is a status symbol and it shouldn't be this way.

If the owners of straightmyteeth ever read this, I just want to say thanks for putting up with me and working so hard for giving me a smile that I'm quite happy with.

Completed my treatment at the end of November, but results not as they predicted. I still have an overlap at the front. Brace 10 out of 20 was a really bad fit and they said to just keep biting on the squishy! Tried emailing them the results and to tell them that one of my retainers has snapped already. But no reply and then to find out that they have gone bust! I will try for a refund through PayPal. I wish I’d read these reviews before I started the treatment.

Company has folded and ignoring their emails. How to I hold them to account? I've paid over £600 for straight teeth. My teeth are still wonky and I'm £600 down!!

Missing a step and they won't send. They advised I skip this step which would have an adverse affect on one tooth. For months they've advised an expert will be in touch. A simple process made difficult. DO NOT USE

They owe me retainers and now to see they have closed? What is going on?!? Been contacting since December?

I still haven’t finished my treatment and paid over 600 for mine…

Wasted money and wasted time. Messed my teeth up completely, my bite is off and no way near the projected smile. Their customer service is next to none, replies to e-mails are non-existent and now they have shut up shop. I consulted my dentist and it will cost me £2,990 to get my teeth fixed properly. I have opened a dispute with my credit card provider to get my money back. Don't waste your time with companies like this. I think all who have been scammed by this company have received a valuable lesson - Go to the dentist and get it done properly, your teeth are important! Good luck everyone.

I have to say I completed my treatment with straight my teeth and had a really positive experience with them. My teeth are much straighter than before however, the last set of aligners didn’t quite push together the last bit of gap between two of my teeth so I feel I would have needed 1 or 2 more aligners to extend the treatment which hasn’t happened due to them going bust. Overall though my teeth are in much better condition than they were prior to starting treatment and the slight gap left I plan to get some composite bonding (as originally planned) to sort this out and make my teeth look even better. I can’t stress enough that up until the end I had no problems what so ever with straight my teeth! The treatment can be painful and I had some gaps created in my teeth during the treatment but this was to be expected as my teeth had to move to become straighter. The gaps do close throughout the treatment. I’m fortunate to have got to the end of my treatment and only have some mild adjustments that can be made elsewhere. I wouldn’t be happy if I was half way through treatment so I do feel for people who have been left!

Glad this company went bust. After a year and a half of pain and unsuccessful treatment, over a thousand pound paid, hours of chasing them up, 100s of emails and a lifetime of stress my teeth are still not what they said the my promised they would be. Can’t even get a refund let alone an apology. I hope they can never trade again.

I echo what others are saying. The initial treatment plan showed my teeth move into new positions each stage. Several teeth haven’t moved to the proposed new positions. I now have gaps in my teeth which weren’t intended. Wore my retainers after treatment ended to prevent movement, but it snapped when putting it in on second day! I spoke to them and they said I needed to purchase new aligners, obviously I said the ones sent are clearly faulty and their life expectancy should be longer than 24 hours. They agreed to make a new one but it never arrived. They started ignoring my emails, don’t answer the phone either. Went to their website to realise they’ve shut down.
Which is a blessing as it means others can have a bad experience with them and have their teeth messed around with.

I have again needed to contact Straightmyteeth due to poor fitting aligners. I have emailed them twice with my issues and as before, have had no response to my concerns/complaint.
I am now on my second set of aligners as halfway through the first set of aligners the fit became very poor. I went back to previous steps repeatedly at their request and used Chewies, as suggested, and there was no improvement on fit. The company did not respond to my issues until I left a review here. Then they allowed me to take more moulds of my teeth and send out some better fitting aligners.
I am now up to number nine in the set and the fitting is becoming worse, just as with the previous set. There is a gap of half a centimetre between the aligner and my teeth on the top aligner. Therefore it is very obvious that I am wearing them and causes poor speech. I would like a partial, if not full refund. Your customer service is good when the customers experience is also good. Whenever there is an issue with your product you do not respond.
My experience with this company overall has been very poor and I would not recommend having teeth straightening done this way. Take time, save up and spend extra money to have a face to face service with a professional, not bots who reply with scripted emails or no at all when things don’t go well.

DO NOT USE THIS "COMPANY" - IT'S A SCAM. I received my retainers after paying the full amount up front, however all communication then ceased. Mid way through my treatment plan I noticed gaps between my teeth that hadn't existed before. I tried to contact Straight My Teeth for advice on numerous occasions via email and phone and never got a response. Left my teeth worse than when I started. Don't be tempted by the cheaper price - you get what you pay for. Total disaster.

Received no real interaction with the company and now they have closed!! No treatment!! No explanation!!
Absolutely shoddy experience.
Will definitely take advice to get my money back via Paypal.

Straightmyteeth 2nd review and update.
Anyone who is looking to get a refund from this company after receiving a terrible experience, heres how.
If paid on debit/credit card you have 540 days from payment to make a phonecall to your bank and request a CHARGEBACK on a payment to straightmyteeth as they have not done what they promised to upon payment.
Payment will be reversed back to your account within 11 days.
If paypal was used then the same goes, place a call to Paypal and request a CHARGEBACK and i received my paypal payment back before the end of the call but others may take a week.
Do not leave it any longer to think that your treatment may work.
I gave them just under 2 years of my time and to correct their mistakes but in the end they ignored me permanently.
I was not a difficult customer.
2 payments were made, i am now out of time for the 1st payment of £700 and they are totally ignoring me so i must go to court now.
The 2nd payment was a quick and easy process as i was in time.
