Tim came to service our Slimline Studio Fire. He rang to let me know time of arrival, completely overhauled the fire & left it looking like new again! He answered all my questions & was really friendly & helpful- What a lovely guy, a great asset to Stovax/Gazco. I am one ‘Happy’ Stovax customer :)

I recently installed a Stovax Futura 4 log burning stove in my home office. The stove looks good and burns nicely, however, there is a serious design flaw - there is no log guard provided and no option to retro-fit one, so if you use the stove for more than a couple of hours, there is a build up of ash to the point where whenever you open the door the fuel falls out all over the hearth. This is frustrating, as every time you add more wood you have to also clear up loads of burning embers from the hearth, but more importantly it is dangerous. Having spoken to Stovax's technical team they couldn't offer any solutions, which was disappointing. The only advice they could offer was directing me to read the instructions on how to "stack fuel" - this is irrelevant as once the bottom of the stove is full of ash the problem persists. To be fair, their technical and customer service agents were very responsive and polite so that is a positive, but I would not be confident buying another Stovax stove in future.

I was originally disappointed that a Sheraton 5 log effect stove I have only had a few months stopped working. One of the Gazco engineers named Ray visited today and replaced a faulty valve and all is now working as it should 🤞. Thank you Ray. Also good to know that a warranty is totally honoured by a company.

Engineer Jon Thompson rang us at 09.10 to say he would be arriving in about 20 minutes which he did. On arrival he introduced himself and then put dust sheets down to protect our wood floor. He kept his informed of what he was doing at all times. He fitted the new pilot light and serviced the fire. Jon was very thorough and professional throughout and is a great ambassador for Gazco. We would be more then happy for him to do the service next year if possible.

The Stovax Gas Engineer who came to service our gas fire was just excellent. He was helpful, professional and friendly. The fire always worked well but whatever he did has left it even more efficient and the log effect even more natural looking.
Very happy to recommend such first rate service.

Jon Thompson conducted the 2nd service on my GAZCO Studio 1 gas fire on 10th February. The whole process, from initial booking via Peter at GAZCO, to the completion of the service, was seamless and stress free. I wish I could say the same about the after-sales treatment I received from Washington Fireplaces who sold/installed the fire.
Jon was very professional, helpful and incredibly thorough. He dismantled the fire, took all the necessary readings, replaced the pilot assembly and put everything back together giving all parts a really good clean as he went along. He also gave use some useful tips on how to use the fire.
Excellent service from start to finish. And we love this fire.

I would like to take the time to thank Keller Rees who works in the Customer Service department/ technical issues for Stovax.
He was polite, charming, friendly and helpful and informative.
At no point was he impatient or did he rush me.
The technical issue was resolved successfully and this is completely due to the time Keller spent with me.
Keller is an example of what Customer Services should look like. He represented himself and Stovax (the company) perfectly well and I thank him for the time he spent.

We had been having a few problems with our LPG gas fire since installation and we asked Gazco to send their own representative to look at it. Reza was quite excellent and helpful. Not only did he replace the valve unit which we had been told was broken but he gave us some most useful hints on operating the fire. We are now much more informed and confident on using it. A big thank you.

I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service provided by Reza from Stovax Gazco.
Our fireplace stopped working while still under warranty, and the company handled the situation very efficiently from start to finish. An engineer was arranged promptly, and the issue was resolved without any hassle.
Reza was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He carefully explained what had caused the problem and took the time to show me how to use the fireplace properly to get the best performance from it. He made sure everything was working perfectly before he left and answered all of my questions clearly.
We are very pleased with both the customer service from Stovax Gazco and the high standard of workmanship provided by Reza. Thank you for such a smooth and professional experience.

The switch to the Stovax Vogue Midi Wood burner was a big improvement – much more heat stays in the room, it’s efficient, uses less wood, and creates less dust. The installation was quick and tidy and I would highly recommend both the Stovax Vogue Midi Wood burner and the Home Heat installers.

The engineer came to repair our gas /log effect fire. He arrived in the time slot arranged, was efficient in identifying the problem and replacing the part , was clean and tidy and explained what the problem was. Cleaned up the fire and left things in a good state of repair.
The only thing was that it was a long time to get the appointment . From before Christmas to mid February - not the engineers fault .

Although it took 5 weeks for an appointment, the Engineer did a superb job and fixed our stove which previous service engineers had said was beyond repair. I am, naturally, delighted with Gazco’s service.
