In October 2003, Stewart Golf launched the X1 Remote. The world's first electric golf caddie developed specifically for remote control use.

I will note that the new remote works. In fact, its operation seems to incorporate some different hardware or firmware, as it works better than that original remote ever did. The follow function with the new remote is clearly different than the original remote.
That said, I am not happy with the paltry $29.70 discount. The first remote was defective. It failed to charge after a few years of use. That is a poor lifetime with modern battery technology, and evinced a flaw in the battery control/charging system.
Your carts are among the most expensive, and I expected better quality. The lack of ability to control the cart with the app is unique to your brand, and seems intentional to generate replacement remote sales. The same seems true with respect to the lack of controls on the handle.
Having to invest close to $300 to have a functioning device after a few years of use is very disappointing. A company interested in customer service and brand promotion would have provided the replacement remote at a substantial discount and perhaps close to your cost of goods sold.

Love the follow mode however it's only good in open areas. If I use it merely down even a wide cart path it jitters off course. Also when I'm stearing with the remote downhill it doesn't have a slow-down mode -- it just keeps speeding up down the hill and "gets away from me". I have to walk it by holding the handle to keep it from getting our of control. Then, the turning is really jerky as well.
Overall (in spite of these gripes) I'm still happy with it, however.

I had an issue with my remote on an older Stewart X9 Follow and reached out to Stewart Golf USA for assistance. customer service was excellent, responding promptly (both by email and follow up via phone) to my inquiries and quickly diagnosing and solving the problem. Truly excellent customer service. My only concern was the customer service department’s inability to leave a telephone number that would get the customer in touch directly with customer service rep who is handling the matter—rather, all calls must go through a central line where the customer must request a return call.

I am still waiting for a label that was promised on Tuesday for repairing my trolley. I feel like your company is trying to skirt your responsibility of repairing the unit because it’s under warranty. I bought the extended warranty for $150 when purchased in April 2024. I look forward to some action on resolving the trolley malfunction

Love my new Q Follow. It almost feels like a real caddy on the course. It just doesn’t hand me the right club when at the ball. The only hiccup I have is on a rare occasion when I push the stop button it lurches forward. Not sure if there is a fix for this. Other than that I really enjoy playing with this caddie.

It took far too long to get my issue resolved. I had to constantly reach out and ask for status and follow up. I had to even start new requests just to get a response.

The entire process was a complete debacle. First, the specialized box to send for service wasn’t send then it was sent twice this added weeks. Once the trolley was sent weeks later I got and email aging they couldn’t fix the follow function and a list of optional parts. After weeks of back and forth on email because of option we got it fixed. Never again this is a premium product with sub-standard service

Great product. It’s like having your own caddie. Easy to use and easy to fold and store. Couldn’t recommend it more. A must buy for those who love to walk and play golf. 5 stars!!!

Want to share my experience with Stewart Q Follow. Golf life is better than ever. I didn't realize how much I missed walking the course. I've dropped my HCP down from a 14 to an 8 and I believe its due to waking and planning my shots more efficiently. I'm not in a rush, I'm seeing the ball better and I have a glam plan for each shot. Riding in a cart is useful, but if you have the opportunity to walk, the Q Follow is a must have.

I purchased a refurbished X10 follow in June 2025. It has been a struggle to use since I got it. Follow mode is completely unusable due to the violent nature of the movement of the cart in attempt to follow the remote. The same violent moves are observed when using the remote and trying to direct the cart. Also, beware of the no return policy on refurbished units. I am now basically stuck with it while going back to my manual push cart.
Customer service was nice, however, but they were unable to resolve the violent movements of the cart.

It was really snappy on turns, follow mode didn't always work. Downhill seemed to have no breaks, concerned with rollback if uphill and stopped.
It def feels premium from the base but as you move up towards the handle, feels flimsy and does not hold a hybrid bag very well at all...
I do understand this may not be for a hilly course but maybe somewhere dry and pretty flat.
Customer service is great though, the stars is simply for the product use on the course.

Customer support by email takes too long. It took 3-4 business days minimum to get a response. And it took 3 responses to get to a conclusion (which was that I needed to send my unit back for service). Once I got to that point, Stewart did good. I got my unit back quickly and it works great now. The problem is that I lost use of my unit for 4-5 weeks. RIDICULOUS!!!

I am very satisfied with the support and services I have received from Stewart Golf USA. Once we were able to get on the phone and discuss the problems with my cart and the options available to me we were able to agree on a solution that was very acceptable to me. Within a day of approving the repairs to be done I received visual notification (via YouTube video) that my cart was working as advertised. I really feel that my original investment in the Q Follow was the right decision and that Stewart appreciates me as a customer. Highly recommend doing business with Stewart Golf USA.

I researched and asked fellow golfers about Stewart and a couple other electric cart competitors.
I purchased the Q-Follow after my questions and watching fellow golfers carts. and am totally pleased.
Well balanced and the command range is well over 50 yards.
I also purchased an umbrella holder and with the existing strap fastening, it fails to hold steady, my G4Free reflective umbrella in the holder when there is a steady breeze.
A "circumference adjuster" of some sort would be a better design.
