Brilliant service from Arran

Arran was extremely helpful and patient with my choice of mattress. I had gone into the store with a couple of options I had previously seen online, and although the store didn't stock these, he was very knowledgeable and recommended a few alternative options. He left me to test several mattresses in my own time and provided great customer service all round, answering all of the questions I had explaining everything in good detail. Having had a past in customer service myself, he's a fantastic advisor, perfectly balancing his great sense of humour with knowledge and professionalism. I'd gladly return to Sterling for any other home furnishings. Thanks again Arran!

Great store great staff…

Sterling is always a pleasure to visit and we’ve bought most of our furniture there over many years. Missing out on the Spring Holiday…

Missing out on the Spring Holiday weekend, we called 2 days later to see if staff would honour the offer just finished. Manager unwilling to, but friendly assistant Conor Ross went out of his way to offer £50 discount as a goodwill gesture, and in turn he secured a sale a few pounds short of £1,000 ( which in this climate most businesses would be glad of). Conor was very professional and friendly, whilst showing empathy to a customer willing to do business. Sterling Home is safe in the hands of young professionals like Conor, and would do wise to help hold onto their professionalism. Mr & Mrs Burns

Very poor delivery service.I wasn't given an email or a text to…

I wasn't given an email or a text to say exactly when my table would arrive. It was then delivered to the side of my house on a day when I was actually in. There was no note even put through my door. A neighbour noticed the table at the side of my house, fortunately the weather was dry. The table itself was all that I expected (thus 3 stars) but the delivery was shambolic.

Friendly and engaging Margaret Connnor

I had an excellent experience with Margaret at Sterling Furniture. She was kind, considerate, and took the time to explain all the available options clearly. She also explained the sales benefits in a helpful and straightforward way, without ever being arrogant, impatient, or using any pushy sales techniques.

What really stood out was Margaret’s genuinely interested approach to the customer. She listened carefully, communicated in a relaxed and natural way, and made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable.

She was friendly while still being very informative, which helped me feel confident without ever feeling pressured. Margaret is a real credit to Sterling Furniture, and I would highly recommend her.

This is a lovely company to visit

This is a lovely company to visit. The staff are so pleasant and helpful. We travel for 1hour 45min to get there. And always come away with a few purchases. Amy Ireland went over and above for us on our visit. We bought 4 chairs that day. We enjoyed the garden area and the restaurant. We cannot praise all the staff highly enough. It is evident this is one big happy family store.
