Never again.!!! I bought 2 grown bonsais and one didn't make it. I followed the instructions and it still didn't make it. It was probably not alive when it was sent to me and the other one is hanging on bit looks like it's not going to make it either. Quite expensive for not so healthy plants

I ordered what was advertised as a ‘fully grown’ and mature bonsai. Received a pre-bonsai tree which has had no grooming and contained no leaves after the shipping process. The company does not offer refunds or exchanges for bonsai, which is not made clear in advance. Packages allegedly come from China but don’t include any customs markings. Very shady.

I’m very happy. I wondered when delivery would be, and they responded immediately. My bonsai looks exactly like the one shown on the website. I couldn’t be happier..and I can’t wait to purchase another!

I purchased 2 grown bonsai trees in early Dec for Christmas presents. Both were in good shape it seemed when received; however, both have failed to produce any buds on the trunk. Directions and watering were followed to a T. Very disappointed and a waste of money at almost $90 a piece.

My order arrived yesterday and only took 13 days to get here (Melbourne Australia) It was expertly packed and arrived in beautiful condition with no leaves lost (Maple) and with beautiful green moss. After following the watering instructions and leaving the tree to rehydrate itself overnight, today its has started to unfold and looks magnificent. Originally I was hesitant in ordering but thought I’d give it a go as a Xmas present to myself and now I seriously can’t wait to order another at this weeks end.
I found Spirit Of Japan to be absolute legends and during the process my one email was treated quickly with all the information I needed.
10/10 for me and will order again for myself and as presents for friends and family.

Awesome Product came in a cushioned package, arrived beautifully even in our little mailbox(standard postal box, not the parcel box.) Damp green and vibrant , even though they are currently dormant.
I ordered a Wisteria
and a Sakura.
Instructions are online in confirmation email.
I forgot what I ordered but they replied immediately to my chat.

I received my 3 bonsai’s today and I am totally pleased with the health of my trees. They were packaged to withstand any kind of shipping company. I am so satisfied with the customer service at Spirit of Japan. I emailed them & within minutes they responded. I am so excited to start my journey of bonsai’s!!

I had a great experience with Spirit of Japan. Their customer service is absolutely amazing and is very responsive and interactive. I ordered a Japanese Maple bonsai because I have always wanted one. It took a while to arrive, which is expected due to the amount of care placed in preparation and shipment of a live plant. After it had arrived everything that was explained in the what to expect info that was sent to me was accurate. There was travel stress and some of the leaves did fall off. However, they all grew back within a couple weeks and the tree is very healthy. I am beyond happy with my purchase!

Great service x from responding to me immediately … to receiving my bonsai on time to Australia… arriving unharmed and now looking happy to be free from the great transit wrapping … I look forward to getting more … reputable site and lovely response from my email.

I have received my Kokedama Maple bonsai in near perfect condition. Almost no leaf loss to speak of and after this first week, shows no sign of shock. I am very pleased, and Yuki was very quick to respond to my email requesting advice on how to keep my tree thriving in a sub-tropical (Florida) environment.

I ordered tatami mats from them to ship to me in the US; I was then given a tracking number that showed some item was being delivered from the US to Russia and followed the item thinking it might get to me in the US over a 2 week period. It hasn't moved from Russia. When I asked the company about this, they said they would investigate and see if there was an error. It did not seem like they were actually going to investigate. When I said I was going to report them unless they gave me a real tracking number or real details on the "investigation", instead of giving me a real tracking number, they refunded me immediately. They also have a 30 day return policy from date of purchase which obviously doesn't work if their item takes more than 30 days to arrive. That is a sign of a fake site in another country. I believe they sent me a random tracking number as if the item was being sent to me.

The bonsai plants shipped quickly and were received in about 2 weeks. Carefully packaged and looking beautiful. Some of the leaves had fallen off as expected but the stem and shoots look alive and healthy. Prompt communication from the store when I had a question.

I purchased a lovely Ginkgo. It arrived in good condition. The tree itself was wrapped in a very strong bubble wrap. The roots were covered with a felted type of fabric and plastic wrap, which kept everything moist for its entire journey.
I had three areas of buds that were in good shape. I was pleased with customer service. They responded promptly to all my emails regarding the shipment and care. I will definitely purchase another tree.

I ordered three bonsai trees. During shipping the box had been damaged, but the supplier had wrapped the bonsai so well that they were not damaged in transit. It is perfectly normal for plants to arrive showing signs of stress from shipping. Spirit of Japan has a guidebook for bonsai care on their website. All three trees are recovering beautifully and putting out new growth. After-sale support was fast and friendly. I love my little trees and plan to buy more.

The company was quick to respond when I had concerns about a delayed delivery of my wisteria bonsai. It arrived 2 days later in very good condition and appears to be alive and well. The care directions are clear and were supplemented by a follow-up email with even more instructions. Here's hoping for the best!!

I ordered this on the 9th, so 10 days for delivery!! Cant wait to see it grow. Arigato!!

I was skeptical at first. Didn't have much trust in a Facebook ad. However I really wanted a Sakura ( cherry blossom 🌸) to go with my bonsai collection, so I communicated with them several times, they answered all my questions and concerns and I felt comfortable enough to go ahead with the purchase. The
shipping did take a bit longer than I would have liked but exactly 14 days after the purchase, it arrived at my house. I knew that it was going to be stressed because of the shipping. It had lost all its leaves, but now only 3 days after receiving it, there is signs of new growth. These people are 100% legitimate and work hard to build a good reputation and giving their customers a very good product. They get 5 🌟 from me. I plan on placing another order very, very soon.

Great after sale service. Quick response and detailed advices that I needed about my Japan Cherry Bonsaï. No hesitation to do more business with them again. I was a bit nervous when I saw the packeging but my plant is doing well as I followed the guidelines.
