First Impressions: Great!

He was also available to answer all my questions afterwards. I look forward to getting started with Luis this week. I have been an educator for 30+ years and so far, I think I have picked a sound program. So far, the organizers have been very accessible - - and they are real, live people!!

Learning Spanish with very little experience
I've been learning spanish through Spanish55 for about three months now and I have nothing but great reviews for this website! It was super easy to navigate and in the early stages of getting familiar with this program there was plenty of support from their team! I've been working with Coach Michelle who is very qualified and knowledgeable with teaching a new language. I've gone through several language classes in the past for various languages but Spanish55 stands out to me because of their course structure which I've found to be one of the best for learning a new language. Despite not having many relatives or friends that speak spanish, I make great progress working with my coach through the exercises and textbook, and feel confident in this journey of learning a new language!

Spanish 55 is GOATED
I do three, one hour classes a week with my tutor, and I've seen a massive jump in my ability to speak and comprehend Spanish over the last 5 months. My tutor is truly the best, native Spanish speakers compliment me on pronunciation (this is why we do it), I'm way more confident to start up conversations outside of class, and its really doble if you're serious about learning. Expensive for casual learning, yes. But for me, it's an investment for my career/lifestyle and its well worth it.
Another very important point I gotta make is how responsive and helpful the admin and support team is when you need help booking, cancelling, or just notifying your tutor. 11/10

Value, Care, and Effort in Spanish Instruction!
This is an excellent service! The value of the instruction is superb! I have made more progress with Spanish55 that I have with any other type of language instruction. The instructors and the staff care about my success and have the background knowledge in Spanish and in TEACHING Spanish that allows then to be maleable around each students learning style and goals. This is an awesome company
This is an awesome company! They have awesome communication and my coach, Atenea, is fantastic. It has been so helpful having someone to practice speaking with in a nonjudgmental way. Yes, you still have to do grammar, but Atenea is always willing to chat about any topic. I work in a field with some specialized vocabulary, and she has been helpful with it. I would recommend her to anyone.

I first selected Spanish55 a year ago because they were transparent about pricing. I'm still using their tutoring because of Coach Fran. She's teaching me conversional Spanish as well as the difficult stuff like subjunctive. She's patient, professional and definitely a core part of my Spanish journey.

I'm literally obsessed with this company. I've wanted to improve my spanish for years and never knew where to find the right fit for a class. I LOVE this! My instructor is amazing and I can book classes when it fits for my schedule. I'm learning quickly because I'm having fun and can be consistent with the same instructor. Lastly, the company is so on top of everything. Very professional and anytime I have a question they have a quick answer from someone who is very nice, efficient, and professional!

Spanish55 with Coach Alberto is the answer to your language needs, seriously.
This week, I had a full-blown conversation in an Uber with a native Spanish speaker, and for the first time I just went for it. Was it a bit rocky? Sure, but I did it! I even cracked a joke in Spanish that made my driver laugh. There’s no better feeling! That moment was possible because of my incredible coach, Alberto. I’ve been working with him for about 2 ½ months, and I can’t thank him enough.
For sixteen years, I’ve been surrounded by Spanish (my husband’s first language is Spanish), but I simply could not and would not speak. I could understand some, but never form my own words, let alone conjugations or sentence articles. Alberto has helped me build a solid foundation. He’s incredibly patient, but also a genuinely fun and kind person who makes our 3x/week lessons something I look forward to.
I still have a long way to go, but in just two months I can already have basic conversations and I’m understanding more of what’s said around me at family gatherings. I’ve tried and abandoned countless methods over the years, and Spanish55 is the one that finally clicked.
To get here, I’ve been doing lessons three times per week, practicing with my husband, using flashcards, and occasionally dipping into Spanish apps, so about 5–10 hours per week of learning and practice. The progress has been amazing.
Spanish55 is absolutely incredible, and Coach Alberto is the best. I can’t wait to see where I’ll be in the next 6 months.... And in a year!

Oscar Is the Best!
I left a Spanish55 review a few months ago, but I wanted to leave another one about a year after I started working with my coach, Oscar. I have never had a teacher who is so easy to talk to. I am learning Spanish while making a friend, so it's fun, rather than work! He meets you where you are, whether that be with learning grammar or learning to listen and speak better. I highly recommend Oscar to anyone wanting to improve their Spanish.

My experience with coach Atenea has been wonderful. I wanted to improve my spoken Spanish skills and improve my ability to discuss complex ideas. Since I love literature, she helped me read and analyze and write about short stories. Working with her has been more effective than any college class I took!

Excellent for advancing speaking skills
My middle school daughter has had weekly one-on-one sessions with a Spanish55 coach for the past 11 months. Her coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and adept at tailoring lessons to my daughter’s skill level. The support staff is also responsive and helpful. My daughter has advanced her comprehension and speaking skills significantly beyond her regular middle school Spanish class while working with Spanish55. Perfect even for langage-challenged
I am a non-traditional student. I work fulltime, languages have always been one of my weakest subjects, but I want to overcome this for myself.
I am extremely impressed at how my coach always picks up where we left off, and adjusts perfectly to any slight detours if I have a question or giant blank spot that suddenly opens up in my memory.
I like that we use the worksheets as supplemental materials. This makes our lessons flow much more organically and links learning to real life.
My progress may be slow, but Spanish55 has been more effective than any other method I have tried over the past 10 years! It is very challenging, even at my pace, and it works for my life.
