Can't fault them.

I ordered decking boards and they arrived on time and in great shape. Cannot complain about the service at all. Will be using again.

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service, reported delivery didn't arrive, no contact, no follow up. Poor comms from a very poor company. Don't purchase from this company!! Order 1063343841-A through BandQ, even admitted their service was very poor.

Very happy with the reject decking…

Very happy with the reject decking boards from Snowdon Timber. Bought them for my patio and the quality is really good considering they are reject boards. Great price, arrived with no problems just 3 days after ordering. Very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend.

I should have read the reviews, same missing order nightmare

I should have read the reviews before ordering from Snowdon Timber through B&Q Marketplace.
Almost every negative review here describes the exact same story: people order something, the order arrives partially or does not arrive at all, and then the endless excuses and contradictory stories begin.
Unfortunately I ended up in exactly the same situation.
I ordered a COMPLETE decking kit worth over £260. Instead of receiving a complete order, random parts arrived on different days, and one full pack of decking boards never arrived at all — meaning I could not even finish the decking I paid for.
First it was “there are delays”. Then apparently the package “went missing at DX”. Looking at the reviews here, DX seems to “lose” an awful lot of Snowdon Timber packages.
Then I was told they would bypass the courier investigation and send replacement boards directly from their warehouse on Monday. Monday came and went. No delivery. No tracking number. Nothing.
Then suddenly the story changed AGAIN to: “we asked the depot to search for the missing package and deliver it if they find it”.
So which is it? Was a replacement dispatched or not?
For over 2 weeks now this has been nothing but excuses, delays, contradictory information, emails, phone calls and chasing them constantly just to receive the goods I already paid hundreds of pounds for.
Absolutely terrible experience and based on the reviews here, clearly not a one-off incident.

Unfortunately, issues within courier networks can occasionally happen, particularly with large and bulky deliveries. However, we fully appreciate how frustrating this has been for you, and we are continuously working every day to improve these situations and provide a better customer experience.

I would also like to note that throughout the investigation process — which unfortunately can take time as both we and DX must follow formal procedures — our team member remained in contact with you and kept you informed regarding the updates we received and the actions being taken.

Following further investigation, a replacement for the missing items has now been dispatched directly from our warehouse under tracking number L0370915. The replacement was sent on the overnight pallet service and is expected to arrive tomorrow, subject to no further delays within the DX network.

We always do our best to resolve issues as quickly as possible, and in your case a replacement has now been arranged and dispatched.

Thank you again for your patience, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

20 pieces of 4x2 ordered on 29th April

20 pieces of 4x2 ordered on 29th April, contacted Snowdon on 5th May to say delivery has not arrived. They told me courier DX had 'lost' the delivery and they would send a replacement.....11th April, still no sign of wood. I have contacted Snowdon several times asking them to push this with courier, but 12 days later I still have no wood and no idea when or if it will actually turn up. I have lost the contracter who was to do the job as the material is over a week late. Very disappointed with the response once something went wrong, there is no urgency or get up and go to solve the problem and iam having to chase to get any kind of action. Poor

Terrible service and communication

Terrible service and communication. 1 week late and no contact. Job lost along with part of my reputation. Cancelled the order and then they see fit to email me with a weak apology.

Your order was originally placed on 24th April. Unfortunately, on 1st May we were informed by DX that the parcel had been lost in transit.

A replacement order was arranged immediately; however, following your request to cancel the replacement and proceed with a refund instead, the refund was issued straight away.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the issue. While situations like this are rare, courier networks can occasionally experience delays or losses, particularly during the busy home and garden season when delivery volumes are exceptionally high.

I ordered a pack of 5 Tongue and Groove…

I ordered a pack of 5 Tongue and Groove Shiplap from their eBay shop. The delivery was delayed so I contacted them. They said that they had to check with the courier. After a week of delay they told me that my item is lost, so I asked for a replacement. The next day they issue a refund without consulting me. When I asked them if I will be getting what I ordered, that's when they decided to tell me that they don't have stock any more. At this stage I have been delayed 2 weeks and feel quite frustrated with the bad communication. Additionally, I lost a voucher which I had used for the purchase. Their customer service admitted that all the errors happened on their side but offered ZERO solutions to make things right apart from sending me away with a refund and effectively dismissing my complaints for being delayed, frustrated and financially damaged.

Very disappointing service all around, from delivery to customer service handling.
