Delivery service from Snake River is Afull !! Over 50% was sent to wrong places (4 times left in ditch,5 times left at abandon house 1/4 mile from my house! Food had thawed.Do not order from Snake River!!

We were tired of pork chops from the grocery stores that were tough, dry and tasteless no matter how we prepared them - brined, not brined, baked, grilled. So I decided to order from Snake River Farms some Porterhouse Pork Chops. They are absolute fabulous! Moist, tender, and actually taste like pork. We will reorder.

Quick shipping, excellent products and superb customer service. We will order again.

I ordered the jalapeno/cheddar sausages. Delivery was on time but the sausages had sever freezer burn. When I contacted customer service ( with pictures) I had to plead my case for 5 minutes before we reached an agreement on how to handle the purchase. They reshipped the order and refunded me for the damaged product. The new order arrives with the identical problem! I would not recommend SRF to anyone. They need some type of Quality Control. Why they ship a product that is freezer burned is beyond me.

Every year at Christmas, we enjoy a USDA prime prime rib from Costco. We visited Japan last year and fell in love with Wagyu beef so I thought I would try the Wagyu boneless prime rib from SRF. was it good? Yes, delicious. Was it as good as Japanese WAGYU? No, and visibly in terms of marbling it bears no resemblance whatsoever to Wagyu. But my main issue is that this year‘s Costco USDA prime prime rib was $23 a pound. I paid more than twice that for the snake river beef delivered. That’s what I call ABV: Appallingly Bad Value. Now, I understand that SRF has added costs like shipping, but it is what it is.

I was excited to order from SRF for the first time. I ordered 4 SRF Gold Ribeyes. They were very thin, chewy, and not as tasteful. I have 2 local butchers I go to and honestly their steaks are much better. Maybe I got a bad batch so maybe I will try again someday.

I will never buy from Snake River Farms again. Customer service is terrible. Orders cancelled at SRF's whim without rational explanation. No one to talk to get anything straightened out. This company seems to have the attitude that it is your privilege to pay super-premium prices for their products. You expect timely delivery or customer service too!? Forgetaboutit.

I recently ordered two briskets from Snake River Farms for a benefit we were hosting at our home for a ballet conservatory. Unfortunately, FedEx fumbled the delivery, and despite the package being nearby, they wouldn’t release it or let us pick it up. With the event looming just a few days away, I reached out to Snake River Farms. They immediately stepped up and overnighted me two replacement briskets at no extra charge. Their willingness to fix a problem they didn’t cause and ensure we had what we needed for the event was beyond impressive. That level of customer service definitely makes me want to return to them again and again.

Not much to dislike about their product, it’s top notch. Prices are on the high side but you’re paying for quality.

What I don’t like is this strange trend from online retailers wanting to spam you a code each time you need to log in and see previous orders or just order a steak. This is 100% unnecessary, there’s no added security it’s just a more expensive option that wastes my time.

Waste my time, I don’t buy from you. Period.

I ordered two Wagyu picanhas, and upon opening the package, I was immediately disappointed with the trim quality. Both cuts had large sections of silver skin and thick chunks of fat that needed to be removed. After essentially having to play butcher myself, I finally cut the steaks — only to find that the marbling was far below expectations.
I’ve purchased better picanha from my local grocery store (HEB), which only carries USDA Choice and Prime. I decided to try Snake River Farms because of all the hype, but this was by far the most disappointing online meat order I’ve ever received.

I ordered their 4, 6oz gold Wagyu filets. The marbling was sub par, not remotely close to being similar to their photos. What was worse, was the lack of uniformity in the cut. 2 of them were thin on one side and thick on the other. Impossible to grill or pan fry without overcooking the thin side and undercooking the thick side. SRF reached out to me and refunded for the 3 filets I did not consume. They stand by their product. I recommend them.

Pretty bad and overpriced. They will send you freezer burnt meat about one USDA grade under what you pay for.
The packaging is good. They ship,fast.
If they have and "average weight" of 1.5lbs, you will get 1.4lbs with packaging and injected frozen water.
It's pretty bad. Maybe they have good sales for something you don't get, but expect old freezer meat under what you pay for.

Ordered from them after enjoying some burgers at a restaurant that told us they order their meat from there. While very very expensive, the quality was just not the same for the price we paid. I'm going back to Costco and a local butcher.

Flabbergasted! Ordered 2 bone-in filets at $75 each. Each weighed one pound. The bone was more than half a pound. Why they didn’t trim the bone to a smaller weight is a crime. I’ve had the cut at other restaurants where the bone is cut back to 1/2” to 3/4”. Do not recommend Snake River Meat Company.

We have ordered a variety of meats and enjoyed them all. We ordered a ham for Easter and it was TERRIBLE! Followed the cooking instructions and it had no taste, it
was dry, we have had much better hams from Walmart. Very disappointing. Stick to the beef!

I have been purchasing the American Wagyu briskets from Snake River Farms for about a year now. I absolutely love the quality of their briskets, so I thought I would order black label New York strip steaks and fresh Maine lobsters to make an amazing Valentine's Day dinner. This was hands down the best lobster and steak dinner I have ever made. The lobster tails were unbelievable quality and taste. The American Wagyu New York strips were the most tender and delicious steaks I have ever made. If you like to cook or grille with good meats, then Snake River Farms is the way to go. Best farm to table experiences my family has ever had. Highly recommend Snake River Farms.

We have been ordering from them for about 5 years now, after first receiving a gift certificate from a friend. I have to say that the steaks are normally great. We've never had an issue with the packaging. Deliveries are always on time. However. After at least a couple of thousand dollars in our own orders plus gifts we gave to friends, I ordered a steak and found it to be quite tough. I gave it a poor review and anticipated that I would hear back. I did not hear back. I wrote to the company and said look this steak, was nowhere near up to par. I have never been disappointed with your stuff before but this one really should not be one of your offers. They wrote back saying to please take a picture of the uncooked steak in its packaging. I wrote back saying that since there was no way to taste the steak without removing the packaging and cooking it, I could not do that. And it did not occur to me to save the portion of the steak I had thrown out because it was so tough. In return I received a note saying that I had probably cooked it wrong and should have cooked it a little more well done rather than rare. ???? Extremely disappointing from the customer service viewpoint. They do charge enough that they could have afforded to refund the entire cost.

I’m a newcomer to Snake River Farms, but not entirely unfamiliar with their brand as I’ve had one too many of their steaks in restaurants across the U.S. Recently it was my partner’s birthday and decided to surprise him with ordering six steaks for him to sample. Knowing Snake River Farms as a reliable brand, he was ecstatic and over the moon with this particular birthday present. Mind you, it’s not cheap but it has been definitely worth it. Thus far, we’ve placed another order a week ago for more steaks and like clockwork, they showed up on time and with such attentive packaging. There’s only been once that I’ve reached out to their customer and they’ve been on point. Their black and gold label steaks are to die for. Here’s to hoping for many more positive experiences with Snake River Farms.

Shipped beautifully and perhaps some of the truly best steaks I have purchased, and this is my passion. They are working on growing and I hope it remains customer focused as they grow. I am a fan!0

Had steaks arrive thawed and when I called, they immediately refunded the full amount with no issue. Have always had quality food from them.
