Lee at Smith & Friends Estate Agents in Darlington was very friendly, helpful and efficient every step of the way with helping me with my new rental property. Everything was handled exactly in the timeframes discussed from the outset, he went above and beyond to make sure I had all of the relevant information regarding the property and navigation the referencing and contracts stages, and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. Really good bloke who is excellent at his job, and I would highly recommend him and the Smith & Friends team in Darlington to anyone looking for a new home in the future.

We had Lee Johnston in the Darlington branch supporting us and he was wonderful - very helpful, reassuring and quick to respond to any queries we had. The sale of my house, like many these days unfortunately proved not to be the most straight forward, however Smith and Friends were great throughout. The initial observations, photos, marketing of the property were excellent and this helped generate lots of interest while the property was on the market. Due to properties popularity, it did get slightly challenging at times with the amount of emails received for confirmed viewings, however I would rather it be this way than it generate little or no interest. The online portal is a very good way of checking where you are at with a property, and can imagine this being extremely useful with people who own multiple properties. Overall, experience and communication was great during a challenging property sale which got there in the end!

We had a good experience, the girls were friendly and helpful. Our house sold quickly but we were in a chain of about 6, so we felt we weren't getting anywhere quickly. In all it took us about 5 months from start to finish.

Smith and Friends were super helpful with the stress of buying my first home. They were always available to answer questions, chase questions, and keep me up to date with everything. Lindsey was especially helpful as my contact throughout and I would have been much more stressed without her! Highly recommend.

It took a while for the move to be completed but that was down to the solicitors. Everything worked out well in the end, we're now settled in.

We did not receive any information regarding the cental heating. We should have had details and guaretees. To date the boiler keeps shutting down a 2 out of 5 radiators don't work. Also the sign is still stuck in our garden. Also where are the rewiring certificates.

Smith and friends sold our house, always professional and generally good. conveyancing was very slow and at times frustrating legally, but Andrea really pushed and tried in a very courteous professional manner. So my personal experience was slow and could have been better from a legal perspective but the other side should have been more proactive. Would recommend the agents regardless of this experience as my situation made the need for sale to be quick - there was no chain but still took 5 months so I was frustrated by the end but generally pleased with their overall services.

Lack of communication / answers. Damage on my fathers property which no one would take responsibility for, was just 'shrugged off'.
