The staff at Silverado Escondido are truly amazing! They show such care and compassion to the residents, it truly feels like a home. I would highly recommend their services!

Silverado is such a special place full of wonderful people. Tonight they hosted a luau for residents and their families. It was a fun night filled with dancing and dinner with Mom. My Mom has lived there for 4 years now and I am so thankful for the care and love they give her each and every day. If you are seeking memory care for your loved one, I would highly recommend Silverado!

My inlaws moved into Silverado Lee's Summit, MO towards the end of April after their health declined at a previous facility. The staff at Silverado were welcoming to the entire family in helping our parents with this transition. Although my father-in-law's health continued to decline and he recently passed, everyone has gone out of their way to make sure my mother-in-law feels safe and comfortable with the adjustment of living without her husband of almost 60 years. Shout out to all of the staff for taking care of Joye!

Oh my! My wife was a resident at Silverado Encinitas. She recently passed away. The care she received from the staff was second-to-none.

We looked at numerous memory care residences and chose Silverado because of what we heard from people in the know. It was highly recommended and they did not disappoint.

From the Administration to the Caregivers everyone was so caring and focused on my wife's care and making our family feel welcome and integrated into the residence. They make a very difficult situation into a pleasant experience.

Do not be tricked by their physical plant (carpets, etc.) not being glamorous. They spend where it needs to be spent: on care.

I encountered Silverado Encinitas when my 84-year-old neighbor could no longer be cared for by her 84-year-old spouse in June. When we started looking we saw Silverado, met the team, and decided not to look any further -- having spoken to many people before beginning our search.
Silverado Encinitas showed concern, acceptance and kindness from the first meeting with Kaitlyn. Nothing was too difficult to overcome. They have handled everything with diplomacy and love from admittance to daily care. Yes, the entire staff -- some of whom have been there more than 20 years -- has shown the same attributes, always explaining what care they are about to give and asking permission to do so. No one could ask for more than to have a loved one in the care of Silverado Encinitas.

My husband has been at Silverado in Escondido for almost 18 months. The care he has received and the love he has been shown there is matched only by their professionalism.
I hope you and your family never need this kind of facility, but if you do, Silverado is the best place I have seen. The atmosphere is more like a home than an institution. Every resident is treated with dignity and respect by the caregivers as well as all of the staff.
These folks are the best.
I am grateful to them for the genuinely wonderful care my husband has received.

Silverado North Shore in Glendale, Wisconsin has been my younger sister's new home for the past year. After a medical accident many years ago that affected her brain, my sister has lived in a few different "homes". Silverado North Shore is truly a home . . . clean, bright, cheerful and complete with pets and friends!

Silverado in San Juan Capistrano has been a fantastic community for my father! The staff love their jobs! They are patient, happy, caring, professional, knowledgeable and fun. My dad has settled in and is happy when I come to see him at all different times of the day. The residents are well cared for and clean. The food is good and the activities are creative. The entire community is always very clean. The staff regularly checks in with me. The community invites families to special events. It's great to get to know other families. Our entire family is so happy that our dad is settled at a wonderful place like Silverado. He won't have to move again. He deserves the best and we are grateful for Silverado's skilled staff that cares for him!

Housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance are all exceptional at Silverado. Do not put your loved one here if they have a colostomy bag. They are too big with ever changing caregivers so they cannot consistently empty a bag or do PRN drugs. Make sure you have a camera in your loved one's room. That is how I communicated with my mom. I had to call twice because they forgot to feed her. They say they have pets but they were not in my mom's building of Gardenview. She was put in the lowest of 3 buildings because of her bag for extra care. Gardenview building gets less activities when they don't have enough help. I asked that my mom be brought over to Lakeside for actives where she had a blast and ate two of her meals at their beautifully set tables when they remembered to get her. Silverado is very good at listening and trying to implement ways to help your loved one. Nurse Miranda and Nurse Brea are wonderful and treated my mom like family. If my mom did not have the bag, lived in Lakeside with the one community cat Bandit, and participated in Jennifer's awesome activities it would have been would been a great home. Unfortunately it was not a good match for my mom.

We moved our Dad into the Silverado Community in Bellingham WA, 3 months ago from another long term memory care facility. He had lived there 15 months. We noticed Dad had lost weight, seemed defeated and was suddenly declining. He has vascular dementia and was very frustrated by his severe short term memory loss. Was there something we could do to help Dad find joy again?
Silverado was the answer! Their team has given our Dad back his comforts, his dignity, humor & smile. In just a few weeks time we could see Dad had gained his weight back, and behaved as tho he was home. We have been told he naps comfortably on the couch in a busy foyer (like home). He's participating in activities, being social with a smile & joking. It's clear he now has joyful experiences many times each day with the kitties and cat tree in his room!
We knew of Silverados wonderful philosophy, and that they have cats & dogs living among them. (Dads love & entertainment like home). We heard they have live music many times a week. (He sings with the musicians, and can see he dances. We have pictures!). We learned quickly that the residents can help themselves to the refrigerator or snack basket (like home), and the caregivers took the time to learn about our Dads history. His loss of Mom, after 60 year of marriage. His love of animals, his prior jobs; hobbies and family names. The Silverado team are all educated on how to mange memory loss in conversations, with the residents and with the family. They are so compassionate with how they answer Dads questions over and over about his wife, and where she is, or when is she coming back. (Those are awful question to us, and what is the right answer?) I tear up listening to stories and experiences that are shared about interactions with Dad. What people say to him, to reassure that Mom is OK... It means the world to us.

The Silverado team and facility are giving Dad the opportunity to enjoy his daily life again. He feels free to make choices, and has space which he needs. We are so grateful there was vacancy to make this move and feel our Dad has found joy once again. He is living in a place that is very close to "home".

Our family could not be happier with the care and awesome staff at Silverado St. Charles. Every staff member from housekeeping, receptionist, Office staff and of course the care givers and nurses are trained in their respective area of expertise. They are caring and compassionate with residents and family.

Our family personally has been working with a transition for our mother from another facility that we felt was initially ok (we had no base line). Wow what an education and positive experience we have had relocating our mother to Silverado. She is truely in great hands. We are so appreciative for each and every one of them.

The activities are based on education research to help the residents with their mental needs. The food is also truly what they said- based on research and healthy. The staff demonstrates compassion for our mother and all residents that is not demeaning, rude, disrespectful or making her (them) feel "stupid" (her words. They are "gentle" (again her words),

i also want to compliment the office staff who work with the family by calling insurance, Long Term Health, Doctors and more!! This is such a comfort to have an experienced advocate for our family!!

The communication is also far more than we have experienced from the office and resident care employees. We truly appreciate the follow up calls from nurses when our mother's condition or daily activities change.

We highly recommend and promote Silverado St. Charles for anyone who has a family member suffering from memory loss. Your loved one will be cared for as family. You will be able to have peace and enjoy the visits with you loved one knowing that the Silverado team are always available for you- the family!

Silverado Assisted Living took such great care of my dad and we were very happy and pleased with their care for him. My dad was such a proud Air Force Veteran and loved to share stories. He always wanted to stay active and had an internal need to know that he was contributing and helping people. Silverado knew how important this was to him, so we never let him know he was going to adult daycare. Silverado met with my dad and the family and showed interest in him, which was really important to my dad. I still remember the question asked to my dad, which was, "so Mr. Ross, tell me about when you served in the Air Force." Then he sat back in the chair, crossed his legs to listen and Dad had so much to share. He felt important and talked about this experience later at home. It took a few weeks to get Dad mentally ready for a changed schedule, which was because he had a stroke and was diagnosed with aphasia. On the morning of his first day, I knew Dad was nervous because of the different routine. When we went inside, Silverado staff came to Dad and said, "Mr. Ross, we were waiting for you. We need your assistance." Dad beamed up, stood tall, and walked down the hall. After about 3 days, Dad walked into Silverado, looked at me, and said, "They need me down there (meaning down the hall to the activity area." Dad had full eventful days, activities, trips, pictures, planting projects, arts and crafts, and so much more. With his hearty appetite and one who really loved life, Silverado made such an impact on my dad, allowing him to be involved, and showing appreciation to him which meant a lot to his love for making a difference, this was all such a tremendous blessing to me as his oldest daughter and care-provider. Thank you, Silverado and keep blessing families.

Silverado North Shore provides outstanding care in a welcoming, beautiful, and extremely clean setting.
Everyone who works there is truly caring and friendly.
From the nursing staff and dementia care specialists to the facility ambassadors, front desk workers, maintenance staff, & housekeeping staff, everyone knows each resident, respects their dignity, and strives to support their independence. Communication with family is consistent and considerate. They are also one of the few facilities that have nurses on-site, 24/7.

It is a secure facility, but residents can safely walk around &/or sit outside in the central courtyard area. Inside, there are several spacious, sunny areas to sit and relax or socialize. The dining area feels like a dining room, not a cafeteria; fresh fruit, snacks, and tea/coffee, etc. are always available (not just at meal times). Various activities are offered (art, games, movies, music) and visiting artists often perform. Families are welcome too.

In terms of end of life care, North Shore Silverado excels. They also have an excellent integration/working relationship with Hospice. Hospice workers provided the additional support, while the Silverado North Shore staff continued their support and care throughout. Even after, the support we, the family, are getting from the Silverado North Shore staff is remarkable. We will always be grateful!

I love how intentional they are with engaging their residents!

My father is there now. He unfortunately barely knows who I am, but when I am there he is smiling, well groomed and well cared for. I visit many times week, always unannounced- and the care he is receiving and all the other residents there are wonderful. Yesterday they were playing music, the staff & the residents who are able to dance were dancing. Those in wheel chairs they took their hands and made them part of festivities. My dad is my hero, and I am so glad he is getting the care he deserves.

I’m a physical therapist and I was very impressed how much of a focus movement, exercise and activity are incorporated into the daily routine for all levels of care for their residents. A nice facility that brings an interaction and engagement for their residents is what sets this place apart.

My father is currently residing at Silverado North Shore in Glendale, WI, and we couldn't be happier with his care. As his memory and health began to decline, my family and I found it difficult to meet his needs and felt guilty about entrusting his care to a "facility". We visited over ten different memory care and nursing homes in the area, but Silverado stood out as a community rather than just a "facility".
While first impressions can be deceiving, Silverado has consistently provided excellent care for my dad, and the credit goes to their compassionate staff. It truly feels like a community where we are still involved in his care. We receive regular updates on incidents and medication changes, and his caregivers always share recent events or jokes with us during our visits.
Moreover, Silverado is not only a professional memory care provider but also excels in the care of their residents and families. Watching a loved one's memory and health decline is never easy, but we're reassured by our caregivers and directors' conversations and actions. They are familiar with this progression and utilize the best practices and approaches to overcome each challenge. They're always open to our concerns or suggestions, which gives us great comfort.

Did not know the relief I would get from having my loved one live at Silverado. The members from the Azusa locations made us feel so welcomed. We were able to leave for the weekend after more than a year. I enjoy visiting always leave with a smile
