They make it effortless to sign up for a free trial online, but then frustrate you if you want to cancel the subscription. I've just been scammed out of £13 for a product I didn't order because they subscribed me against my will and frustrated my attempts to cancel.

The quality of the product is really amazing and at a reasonable price too. The website's UI is also really nice and neat. I unfortunately had to cancel my subscription because their quality is too good and I ended up stocked up too much than I actually needed. When calling with the staff, a staff named Ruhama picked it up and was very helpful. The staff didn't pressure me or made me uncomfortable to cancel the subscription or anything. It was a pleasant experience and I am frankly sad to cancel the subscription. Really recommend people to try it out,

This small independent company provides high quality shaving essentials and a few other related toiletries. I was a customer for 5 years and rate their service highly. The ability to pause your next shipment until you actually need it is excellent. Needing to cancel for other reasons, Ruhama was warm and friendly, and the cancellation was completed and confirmed by email on the call. A company you can trust.

The product was fine, but was not better than what I use now. I found Ruhama very helpful when cancelling the kit.

The Shavekit razor has a nicely balanced handle and offers a good close shave via its five-bladed head. There's also a very useful blade guard included.
All follow-on packs are ethically packaged in recyclable postage boxes and containers. Nicely fragranced shave cream and shower gel, too. There is also a very useful used blades recycling scheme!

£14 for 4 blades. More expensive than Brand name leaders and the quality isn’t great. Cancelled straight away.

I purchased a free trial (paid postage) and inadvertently signed up for a subscription which was heavily disguised by this shady company. You can only cancel by phone and you just cant get through. I have cancelled with my credit card company and will make a formal complaint to the Citizens Advice if this is not resolved ASAP.

Great intro offer but I was unaware that only 10 days later I'd be charged for extra razors. I didn't receive an email warning about this - if I did it went into junk. I did phone up to cancel, Rhuma was very lovely and happy to cancel my subscription. Great customer service from her.

good kit, i didn't need the subscription but i called and Ruhama resolved cancelling my subscription (as i intend to grow a beard!

Very shady company. You can not cancel membership easily they claim you they are small business hence you need to call them and speak to them why you want to cancel. More like small scam than small business

I signed up for a free trial about 8 months ago but never for a subscription to receive replacement blades. Unexpectedly, I recently received an envelope with some poor quality blades that were badly packed, no protection for the blades, no information and appeared totally unprofessional. I later noticed that £12.60 was taken from my credit card and immediately call this company requesting a cancellation and a full refund. I’m now faced with further inconvenience to return these cheap blades at my expense before I can receive a refund. Not a great experience - please avoid this company at all costs.

Shave kit product is great but what lets the company down is after free trail you are automatically enrolled in a subscription service which also adds on extras,

On the positive customer service was first class and Ruhama was a pleasure to talk to.

I used to get the blades of shave kit but they went rubbish blunt when new so I stopped getting them phoned them up a women said all ok stopped it but they are still taking money out of my account I have told the bank but can't get money back

I was not happy when I discovered that I had signed up for a subscription, by accepting a free trial. It definitely wasn't clear and inconvenient that you had to call up to cancel. HOWEVER. I did not have an issue with the product per say and there's an incentive to stay as a subscriber as I think they're reasonably priced - I just don't need this myself!
Ruhama was very helpful when I phoned with the query and was very efficient in helping.

Great blades and handle. Love the auto renewal, easy if you are running out to order. Or if you have to many to skip a month.
If you need anything they are easy to contact and reliable.
