The agent I worked with was very responsive helpful

We paid a good chunk for the insurance. I did not book the premium options as they weren't available when I booked it.

We had a canceled flight by a euro airline. The itinerary got switched over night while I was asleep, the evening before we were scheduled to fly. On the new route, we were very delayed and our luggage was lost. Because if time spent in the airport waiting to process the lost luggage request with the airline and the already late arrival, we didn't arrive at our hotel until past midnight. Because if that, we were set back an entire day and the original hotel booked would not refund our list night. So we ended up paying for two lodgings on the same night. One of which was an airport hotel, which are always inflated in pricing.

Seven Corners actually used very technical wording, legalise, to not pay any of our hotel charges. I will never use them again, and, as I still have time to appeal, I plan on doing so, but have been busy dealing with a serious illness my wife was recently diagnosed with. I will paste their full explanation below.

Be very careful with wording with these travel insurers. They don't insure you to actually help you, they insure you to take your money.

Your Trip Delay benefit will reimburse you for the Reasonable Expenses you incur if you are delayed for
6 consecutive hours or more during the course of your trip due to a Common Carrier delay. Reasonable
Expenses means reasonable expenses for meals, local transportation, and lodging which are necessarily
incurred as the result of a Common Carrier delay. As defined, Reasonable Expenses do not include
prepaid expenses. Therefore, your missed, prepaid night of lodging is not eligible under the Trip Delay
benefit.
Additionally, based on the submitted documentation, you arrived at your Scheduled Destination in
Munich, Germany at 9:05 PM on April 13, 2026. You then checked into your new lodging at 11:06 PM
on April 13, 2026. Therefore, this new lodging expense was not incurred during your delay, but rather
after you arrived at your Scheduled Destination. Coverage automatically ends upon your arrival at your
Scheduled Destination. Therefore, your new lodging expense is not eligible under the Trip Delay benefit.

Purchase was very simple. Fortunately, didn’t need it. I will be back next overseas vacation.

I bought the highest coverage. You guys refuse to cover my cell phone theft.

This is the second time I purchased Seven Corners for trip insurance. It was as easy as it was the first time. Website is user friendly. I did it all myself without needing any assistance. Luckily, we had a wonderful trip. There was no need to submit any claims.

It was Easy! The coverage was very solid.

Luckily, I remained well and did not need to make claims. Just knowing I had the trip ins. gave me peace of mind. On my return flight to the US from Portugal, there was a man with a broken leg all bandaged and needing surgery when he returned home He had fallen, and did not have trip ins. The only way he could manage his leg was to fly first class, which he had to pay for.

I've used Seven Corners for multiple trips and will continue to work with them.

The agent, Nicole Michaud of Health Insurance Advisors LLC, who sold the policy to me never asked for my formal name for issuing the travel insurance policy. I figured it should be written the same as the trip registration. She said that was correct and would send me a corrected version immediately. That never happened. So I made several attempts via email to Nicole, asking for the insurance policy written to my full name. She only sent me the same version having my nickname in the policy. Then, I had to go to the customer service option to get results through Laura, made the changes and emailed the new insurance card. Thank you, Laura!

I had an excellent two week trip to Ireland and Scotland knowing that I had seven corners “just in case” gave me a mindset of confidence that if anything should happen, I would be well taken care of. I will definitely use this company again as they were very responsive and even took care of setting up the policy for me once I provided dates and locations of travel😊
