Absolutely dire on hold forever and cut off phone hardly has any reception

I've been with RWG for a couple of years and in the main I've been happy with them. They were the best price for a 5gb plan when I first signed up and have used their paid upfront 12 month plan for a couple of years. The prices have gone up since I first joined and you can now get similar if not better prices elsewhere. I did manage to get replies from customer services on the few times I had an issue, BUT, as you'll find on the other reviews, customer service seems to have really fallen off. So... my complaint - since the 19th May I have had no data with RWG. My texts and calls were working but no data. I've tried using their contact form and also tried emailing but have had nothing back. Zilch. My plan was due to run out on June 10th so I cut my losses and have moved to another provider. I found a deal which was a bit cheaper than RWG for the same amount of data. I would previously have recommended RWG because the prices were good, but unfortunately the absence of customer service is not worth the risk anymore, plus with no difference in price now, I would no longer recommend them. I am rather disappointed in that, as I do like to support smaller companies, but until they improve their customer service I won't be using them again. I've given 2 star rather than 1 as when everything worked it was perfectly fine to use - just don't expect much if you have problems.

Just like a lot of people who recently closed their accounts RWG have continued to take payments and ignore emails or action phone calls. Something funny going on with NOW as they answer when you ring.
In short stopped payments by reporting them as fraudulent to to my Bank.

AVOID this company. My wife & I were both RWG’s monthly plans. We both ported away from RWG to another mobile provider end of February 2025, and cancelled (deleted) our RWG accounts. However, it’s June, and RWG is STILL taking a monthly payment out of both our accounts. I have tried sending their customer service emails, but no replies from them. I have tried calling their customer support number, but no answer.

Decent cheap service. Signed my daughter up. Just called customer service and connected within 10 minutes. Never had an issue with the network connection. Will be moving whole family over.

Fine if you don’t need customer service. Then nothing, niente, nada. No response at all, just like the data package in Europe, nothing, niente nada, no service, none of the data promised. I have cancelled service. Shame, I was keen to support a Welsh company.

After reading those all reviews I am a bit calmer that it's not just me. They obviously getting to the bankruptcy - no costumer service at all, nobody picking the calls, keep charging costumers who left... I am in the process to claim my PAC and money via court very soon as they refusing to provide my PAC.

Good value initially but seem to have turned into or been taken over by scam artists. I got a PAC and moved away from them but they carried on billing me for two months, refused to refund the money, and made me manually log in to their portal to cancel the now non-existent service. Ofcom need to jump all over this company :(

RWG Mobile were fine when I first joined but seem to have stopped answering emails.

The initial problem was an unannounced doubling of my monthly payment (completely against UK Direct Debit rules). I sent many requests for an explanation but didn't get a response.

I recently contacted RWG to check whether a specific destination was covered under the EU roaming add-on. Three emails sent; no reply.

Concerned that I wasn't able to get a response to important questions I've moved to another provider.

Best avoided.

The mobile worked for a month but when I topped up with £10 it stopped working. I have phoned customer services and got cut off after 6 minutes. I have emailed them but got no reply. Useless!

This mobile company operates as advertised on the EE network but not directly is through Now mobile when I joined. Recently it has cheng to Three. My plan was a two year one year in the incoming and out going call became hit and miss. Tried contact by email and phone no response. Do not use them

Do not use this company under any circumstances. Their customer services give comfortably the worst consumer service I’ve ever experienced. If you ask them to fix a problem of their making, they will simply ignore you. No reply to emails or texts, no-one answering the phone. Avoid

FIve stars to Alan Jones for alerting long suffering RWG customers to the Now Mobile chat service.
Since mid Feb I have been trying to get my RWG service which I had paid for upfront reconnected. No response or replies from RWG but a chat yesterday with a young lady called Juie at Now Mobile had the issue was resolved in minutes.
So, five stars to Alan for sharing the info re Now Mobile and five stars to Julie at Now Mobile for her speedy resolution of the problem.

Used NOW mobiles live chat as sim was saying emergency calls only.Got in touch via website, and sim was working again within 15 mins
Much better than trying to contact RWG themselves.

Wanted a spare PAYG, this worked for a while, even overseas recently, went to use the phone yesterday, credit had all gone, data switched off, no usages since 29/2, £10 credit disappeared! Customer service useless, unreliable, about to port out to another provider as need to keep the number active. Appears to have transferred to NOW telecom as the old CS number is no longer active.

I have had many issues with RWG Mobile over the past few months including billing errors, and there is no customer service at all. I recommend going to the communications ombudsman website to get issues resolved, use the drop down to enter RWG and let them know of your issues. They can get issues corrected and even get you compensation.

I had no service since mid-February. Had a PAC, which was supposed to last until June, but it expired in April. Just before Easter 2025 I was finally able to get through to NOW mobile support line - it used to disconnect after 10 minutes on hold, but seems to be fixed now. A chap did something, and I was able to request a new PAC and transfer my number to a network that actually works. I urge you to do the same as soon as possible if you don't want to risk losing your number and all services that may be linked to it.

Still no response from RWG - not by e-mail, not on Facebook. Stay away, it used to be a very good company, but since December 2024 it's a scam - you will lose money if you buy from them.

My PAYG sim card somehow got deactivated even though it still had plenty of credit in it and I use it weekly. No customer service at all and ignored my requests to fix my account/sim. Do not deal or buy from this company they are basically non-existent.

I had been with RWG Mobile for a few years and the customer service has been fairly good.

Recently, in common with many other people this support has become non existent. I had a problem with my account being unable to make calls. Twice I contacted RWG, once by email and once by their online contact form. A big fat zero response to either, even after several weeks and no reply from their support phone number either.

Therefore, I consider that this company is not worth bothering with now, unless you want to be stuck on your own with no solution to your issue.
