I used RWG before and found them good but not now.

I used RWG before and found them good. But not now. Ordered a sim card. They took my money for this month and ongoing payments for every future month. They sent no confirmation email. I have no order details, only the payment with Paypal. I can't log onto their website to find the order or cancel the order as I have NO details of the order number or Sim card number. After 2 weeks I still have received no Sim card. They have not answered my emails for days. I contacted Paypal and I think they are going to cancel it. Madness. How difficult to send Sim card or confirmation email, and if not sent to keep the customer informed. Sean

Complete Shamble

Was with this company for about three months. Despite having a recurring monthly contract, every month I had to call them to activate my bundle, sometimes this required several calls to them and took days to activate. When I switched to another provider they still took my monthly payment and after more than a week they have still not responded to my email requesting repayment of this

Zero service (customer or mobile!)

I got a SIM card for my dad. He's fairly low usage so the price seemed good.

However, there is a reason for the saying "you get what you pay for". In this case, you pay little, and get even less.

The service stopped working after a while and there was no way to resolve. There is an online portal but you can't submit anything through it or even view your account. Anyway, it just randomly got deleted one day.

Emails are never responded to and if you ever do get through on the phone it's never responded to.

My partner also once tried to sign up to them but they never ported the number but charged for the service anyway. In the end we had to dispute the charge with the credit card company as there was no way to get RWG to respond to us.

I realised they kept charging me even…

I realised they kept charging me even though I cancelled and transferred over to a new provider. Calling and emailing support is pointless, in fact, I suspect that RWG support staff have been laid off a while back. If you're still with them, cancel and block payments through your bank.

Previously I had found the RWG service pretty poor, with issues only being resolved by going to their parent company [Now mobile]. I think now that NOW is responsible for customer service they have 'listened'/read the customer dissatisfaction here and acted upon it/'upped their game'.
Had two issues today within a short succession and their online chat assistant [a human one rather than a useless AI bot] have resolved them within seconds...'credit where credit is due', I have now moved from a 1 star unhappy customer to a 5 star loyal one...well done whoever was responsible for this 'turn around'!

Useless for checking your balance especially on pay as you go. Text 669 info, get nothing. Dial *669# invalid or connection problem.

Ordered a SIM card off this company…

Ordered a SIM card off this company 25th May it's now 2nd June and still no SIM card .
This is despite them saying three to five working days .
Emailed rwg no answer whatsoever .
Found out they're part of now mobile emailed them no answer.
Found out they had a chat option at last got a response but having to wait a further three to five working days for a replacement.
I've given them the benefit of the doubt since royal mail postal deliveries are getting progressively worse with a recent first class card taking a week to reach Wolverhampton from Dudley !
They've got until the end of this week to provide the service I've paid for and I've put them on notice before I cancel and expect a full refund .
Would I recommend this company on my experience so far NO.
Update: SIM card never arrived cancelled order and received money back within 5 days .
Still wouldn't recommend dealing with this company for mobile services .

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY - COMPLETELY DEAD CUSTOMER SERVICE


I wish I had checked Trustpilot before touching this company with a bargepole. I accidentally selected the wrong SIM plan during checkout and immediately tried to contact them within minutes to exercise my legal 14-day cooling-off period to cancel.
It is completely impossible to get in touch with anyone here. They do not respond to emails, and their customer service phone lines are completely unavailable, nobody answers. The company essentially operates like a ghost ship.
I have had to go over their heads and open an official dispute with PayPal to cancel my subscription payments and claw my money back. Avoid them at all costs, they are an absolute nightmare to deal with.

As the title says

As the title says, I had to get in contact with support regarding the new upgrade of RWG's website site, as i couldn't see my other two sim cards attached inside the new dash board. So i went through on NOW mobile's web site (the two are sister company's) to web chat and got put through to a guy called Joe who took his time and talked me through how to add my other two RWG sim cards onto my Main account! he waited as i had to get security codes via text messages and then log in and out of the RWG dash board for it to be updated, once i was satisfied he wished me a good evening, and what could have been a drama and stress was in my honest opinion sorted out in about 5 to 10 minutes! so i couldn't be happier.. this is not my first time of using the support via NOW and always found them very thoughtful and helpful so I've taken to the time to leave this review so others can see the RWG train isn't all doom and gloom or trouble thanks again Joe

Poor service

Difficult to reach customer service and when reached unable to provide support and solutions to the many issues with this low level mobile Company. Save your life from stress, avoid it.

Once you know who to contact!

Whilst the EE signal in my house and surrounding area is poor and this is down to EE and not RWG, WiFi calling gets round this when indoors.

If you need support, just go to the now mobile website and use chat, any issues you have will be addressed promptly. NOW and RWG are sister companies with support handled by NOW but unfortunately RWG don’t make that clear.

Doesn't work in a ebike. Poor support

The support is absolutely awful and the website is massively out of date. But the SIM card was cheap so thought it would be great for my e-bike tracking. However I've spent hours with APN settings on support trying to make this SIM card work. The support made me change packages, upgrade packages and even add extra credit on to try and make it work. I feel like a sucker that I've been scammed. They are giving Wales a bad name.

James was really helpful & efficient, thank you. (Transpired my 24 month contract expired after 1 month instead of being set up to roll on each month. James resolved the issue quickly & easily).

Even the Ombudsman couldn't make them apologise

I had to go to the Ombudsman to have them refund me money they took in error. It took months, during which time RWG repeatedly emailed me asking to drop / withdraw my Ombudsman case.

The Ombudsman requested them to pay me compensation and send me a formal letter of apology. They paid the compensation, but months later I still have not received my letter of apology, despite chasing it multiple times.

RWG's review bots are running rampant!

Maybe RWG could spend resources and time improving their woefully inadequate services and their customary head-in-sand responses to all the justified complaints instead of employing bots to post all the inauthentic positive reviews of late.
