You will lose your money
Been with RWG as a pay as you go customer for a number of years and had no problems .I switched to one of their pay monthly plans , I wanted to keep my number but they sent me a new SIM card ( not used ) instead . I have emailed them lots of times about this and never get a response ,also filled in the contact form on the website and just got an automated reply .
I have cancelled this contract well within the 14 day period ( consumer rights and RWG t&c ) and not had a refund .
I suspect this company is going out of business so don't sign with them ,if this is not reason enough they have no customer service , behave illegally and deny you your Consumer Rights .I shall now pursue this matter with Trading Standards and OFCOM .
The voice mail system is not working one number being disconnected and the other just goes dead ,nothing done about this either .
On their website they make a big deal about being transparent ,really I think it' just a joke like the rest of the company .

The WORST network, but the cheapest one too
It's bad, truly bad: customer services only answer on the phone, and STILL phoning them doesn't always work. Despite having EE range, data still doesn't work reliably. Calls only go through 2G. Recently got a data add-on, it took more than 24h to activate. Definitely the WORST network I've ever used.
But 5Gb for 5gbp/month, with EU roaming, with no contract, that's truly the best price in UK. (It can get even cheaper, if you get their 12 month sim! But I really can't recommend that for anybody, and I'm a 1+ years customer). And roaming genuinely works, tried it in multiple countries! For that amazing value, I think RWGMobile deserves 3-4 stars

Completely unresponsive customer services. Emailed several times, can’t get through on the phone (just doesn’t connect?) tried contacting through social media. Absolutely nothing. Is this company just taking money from people and not providing a service??

Tried to cancel, no one responds to emails. Sent many emails. Every month now I request a chargeback from my card company. It must be costing them a fortune in chargebacks, I guess they don't care. Avoid them!

Unhelpful customer service staff
Tried to port my number, PAC code given from RWG wouldn't work and RWG customer services refused to help or answer any emails. Really poor customer service.

Custermer service is the wost I've ever experienced, and you will never be put through to a manager. Even after you email them you won't get a response.
Good for value, bad for setup
Good tariffs and when they do get to you great customer service but it's very slow to get things setup and it has no control pannel to get things going . You need to be pro active with this network.
GAMMA via RWG service terminated
£5 per month rolling contract. GAMMA sim.
Worked fine for months then SMS received 18/07/25 as per other reviewers, stating the service had been terminated.
They have continued to take payment.
They do not respond to emails.
Not impressed.
Have raised with my credit card provider to seek refund and cease any further attempts at taking my money.

Begrudgingly gave them 1 star, we were with them for 14 months, no problems apart from endlessly waiting for customer services to answer phone. Then on 23.07.25 we got a text from GAMMA & our phones effectively became paperweights & could only receive calls & texts, no joy with RWG but Now mobile tried to help. Ended up swopping to three but 3weeks later still waiting for our £130 refund from RWG. WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THEM 😡😡😡

Ordered a SIM but before I could even use it they sent me an email saying ‘We’ve started your subscription” and took money from my bank. Then were utterly uncontactable via phone or email. Had to get my bank to get the money back and block all future transactions. RWG are Wankers.

my wife and I currently have a 2 year package however for over a week now all our calls both incoming and outgoing are breaking up all the time making it impossible to talk with anyone noting when we change our sims to O2 payg the calls work perfectly.
After much testing the problem seems to be use 3g 4g or 5g phone doesn’t work at all but RWG is only connecting with 2G making calls impossible to use.
UPDATE
Received an email from RWG today asking me to change settings from EE to NOW which I had already tried numerous times without any success so it’s another day of pain. We have now been forced to use payg with O2 after loading £20 on our sim cards so thanks for costing us and stressing us out after paying for your service which is not working for more than a week.
No Service and No Customer Service.
Take your money and run! No customer service. No reply to phone calls. No replies to emails after the autoresponse.Still plenty of credit but unable to make calls and no way to get any help at all. Avoid this company like the plague!
BEWARE!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY
I applied for a 12 month 1gb per month data sim and sent my payment. I haven't yet received my sim even after trying to contact them several times regarding this issue.
Each and every email I sent I got an automated reference number, but I haven't received any communication back from RWG Mobile at all. Not a single email.
They have stolen my money for the up front payment for the sim card and basically ran.
Not a single email or phone call to say where my sim was or what was going on.
DO NOT FALL INTO THE SAME TRAP AND KEEP CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.!!!

RWG is a waste of time and money
I just purchased a monthly package from RWG and paid for it online. It's been almost six days, and I still haven't received my SIM card. When I try to contact them, they don't respond. Their carelessness is frustrating, so I requested a refund, but they haven't responded. I strongly advise people to think carefully before doing business with RWG; otherwise, they will waste their time and money.

Cheap and cheerful, and does the job. Only had one issue when adding an addon and that was resolved by going on NOW mobiles live chat and they sorted it within 5 minutes. For EE, you can't get cheaper than RWG.
Problems with voice and txt connections
Been a happy customer of rwg for over two years until just recently when My iPhone (4g but not 5g) has great trouble making simple phone calls or sending txt messages. The phone shows connection to the Now network (as it has always done) but signal strength varies all the time. First noticed this at home but also tried 15miles away so not the same mast/tower.
I read elsewhere of many people having similar problems recently. No reply from email support.
