The Worst! its always very hard to login, the same username, same password, copy paste but it take at least 10 times attemps untill it finally log in with the same password and the same username!

Hiked our email and cloud service prices repeatedly by 100% and more with little or no warning! This happened repeatedly so we are migrating off Rackspace as quickly as possible. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
Ridiculous Email Pricing, Don't care about customers
From $2.99 to $10 for standard mailboxes that haven't even got a size upgrade for the cost, plus IMAP never worked correctly and often failed authentication randomly. Sadly after 20yrs of using Rackspace both personally and professionally, and sticking with them through their "security incident", I can not recommend them anymore and am in the process of migrating all my services. Pure greed, there is absolutely no way a 300% increase is due to their increased costs.
Lousy email service
Lousy email service. Clumsy interface. Service outages.
Constant phishing referencing RackSpace.
AND they just raised the minimum cost for one mail box from $12 per month to $36. Unbelievable. I moved my mail and canceled the account, which showed it would be canceled on last paid day of service, but they still charged me for another month then said "We require 30 days notice of cancellation". Glad to be rid of them
100% Increase in Fees not acceptable.
In January of this year we were informed that our fees would in crease by 100% in 30 days time (this was on top of a 30% increase in fees less than six months prior).
We requested time to review these prices as our budgets had all ready been set for the year ahead. No chance was there response.
As a result we are in the process of moving away from Rackspace.
A dreadful experience. Would not recommend them to anyone. Very disappointing.
Just terrible customer service
Terrible experience trying to gain control of our account that my controller set up years ago. She's now deceased and as the General Manager I'm not able to access the account? I spoke with a Stephanie in Mexico city (of course) although I'm sitting here with my Amex bill the one item she tried to check to verify the account she would not transfer me to her supervisor. Worst experience I've ever had, not being able to be transfered to a supervisor?? WTF??????
Migrated our services to microsoft 365…
Migrated our services to microsoft 365 - 18 months ago but still charged me for two licenses they couldn’t verify that existed for those 18 months and the account manager practically said not my f’ing problem. Refused to refund me for the 18 months we paid for air!
“Fanatical support” no more
I’ve been with Rackspace for more than 15 years and they were really great. Now, I’ve been given notice of a 100% price increase and a few short weeks to react. I’m taking this as a few short weeks to look at alternative hosting companies. This isn’t the “fanatical support” that kept me with them for so long.

2 weeks notice of a 335% price increase for every mailbox. Utterly disgusting and completely unacceptable. I’m sourcing a new provider as a matter of urgency. Avoid these charlatans like the plague.
300% Price increase with Limited Notice?!
Still exceptional customer support, some idiot now decided to jump their IMAP email from $2.50 to $10, a 300% increase with 1 month's notice... wow they really don't want customers anymore?

Terrible product, nothing they offer works perfectly, everything is half way. Customer service is so so.
Forget about using this company…
Forget about using this company anymore. Before aws and Azure they were good (at best) but now they are also rans. They are a black and white TV in an Ultra HD world. Terrible support, hopeless interface, convoluted billing and absolutely terrible at resolving customer problems on a timely basis. I would not trust them with more than hosting my pet cacti's my space account.

Just echoing the same experience as the rest of the reviewers. They were great 6 years ago, then they offshored to Indian and the support now is shockingly abysmal.
I swear I've lost a decade of my soul when I have the misfortune to have to deal with support. It ends up with spending the entire day and night chasing up what on earth is going on. I requested an urgent restore, repeatedly asking for updates and getting canned responses, and 3 days later still no completed restore.
Thank the gods we're moving away from them in the next month or so. Good riddance to a dreadful company.
WEBMAIL DOWN - AGAIN
Rackspace IT is so fragile that its webmail service is unstable. For a business this is unacceptable. While Rackspace may feel "good" about itself as an organisation which funds TRUMP, its users are now fleeing because of the awful service.
Avoid at all costs
We used Rackspace for YEARS. In the early years, they were a great company.
As of recently, they are a trash company with terrible products, service, and they have terrible billing practices. They will ignore your customer service requests, keep billing you, and then send you to collections.
Has the pantomime season started already?
I've used Rackspace for many years now and they are consistently getting worse.
Now every other time I call, the support PIN shown in my account is not recognised by the operator's system. This has been like this for years and yet still broken.
So today I decided to reset my support PIN whilst on the phone with them but the operator told me there is no functionality for me to do that: oh yes there is, look I've just done it.
In the end the only option apparently is for the operator to send a support ticket on my behalf, so I said, I'll do that. He told me (again) that there is no functionality for me to do that. Oh yes there is! Look I've just done it.

Dishonest company
Dishonest company. Their support chat will tell you anything you want to hear then submit a ticket where they will tell you a different story. I tried to upgrade our email service and the sales person that contacted me tried to get more money than the plans listed on their website. There support has gone the way of Go Daddy where it consists of pointing to DIY solutions on their database rather than fixing the issue.
Horrible deliverability
Emails have been down for almost a month. Support refuses to remove the IPs banned.
For over a month microsoft and other email clients are rejecting emails. This has lost our clients a LOT of business, and made us look bad for using this service.
They made NO ATTEMPT to let people know that their service is completely broken. Horrible experiance.

Continues billing 12 months after the account was closed. This still is not resolved...
They blocked my cellphone outlook…
They blocked my cellphone outlook because of "intrusion attemp".
My laptop outlook has been locked out 3 times in the last 5 days. All I tried was to use my cellphone like I have in the past.
I'm going somewhere else tomorrow. I refuse to pay an extra month. I'm a vet and use USAA. I'll give them a call and they will not pay it.
Rackspace is the worst.
