Study guides were costly
Study guides were costly, not a single question was on the test. It would constantly repeat the same questions and label them as unanswered, even though they were answered, it was a huge waste of money and very unhelpful.

Not helpful
If I could do half a star, I would. I purchased a practice exam that I was never able to access. I called back 3 days later to just get a refund (which was on a Friday). It’s now a week later, I still haven’t received my refund.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
if I can give them a no star I would. Their program is so difficult to understand and deal with. And if you contact them to help you is too many loops and by the time they contact you back is 3-4 days later. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Results reported incorrectly
Registration and navigation were fine, no problems. Went smoothly. I took the HPCC CHPN SJE.
Issue: my results were reported incorrectly and I had many days of distress thinking I’d done poorly, when I actually did very well.

Do not buy from this company
I bought the master electrician study prep and was extremely unhappy with it.
First of all, it’s NOTHING like the journeyman’s study prep, which had a ton of good test insight and differentiated the categories.
Second, some of the questions aren’t even about electrical, they’re about running jobs and a business. That’s definitely not on the Texas masters exam. Third of all, there’s tons of bad and poorly written questions. Like they had A.I. spit some out when they were tired.
And fourth, some of the questions answer choices were all wrong answers.
I’ve asked for a refund and will change my review if I get it.

Formal Complaint Regarding Scheduling and Customer Service
On January 2, 2026, I used PSI Exams’ website to schedule a state exam for January 6, 2026 at 10:45 a.m. EST. Payment was required to complete scheduling, and I successfully submitted payment at that time.
On the day of the exam, I arrived an hour and a half early, only to be informed by the receptionist that I was not on the schedule—despite the fact that PSI’s system does not allow an exam to be scheduled without payment.
The receptionist contacted Sanjeev at the Customer Contact Center to resolve the issue. While he was on the phone, I emailed him a screenshot of my proof of payment, which he confirmed receiving. Sanjeev then stated that my exam was not scheduled because my payment was still “pending” and that nothing could be done, advising me to contact my bank to request a reversal of the charge.
Seeking clarity and a solution, I then contacted PSI customer support myself. During this call, the representative informed me that per her manager, PSI would waive the exam fee (this was offered without me requesting it) so I could be scheduled. She placed me on hold—only to return and state, verbatim, that the fee could not be waived because “the reason you weren’t on the schedule is your fault.”
This statement was both inaccurate and deeply unprofessional. PSI had already accepted my payment, failed to schedule my exam, could not clearly explain why, and then retracted a solution that had already been promised—all while placing blame on me for an issue entirely outside of my control.
At this point, I requested to speak with a supervisor for the following reasons:
1. PSI accepted my payment but did not schedule my exam.
2. No clear or consistent explanation was provided for why I was not on the schedule.
3. A fee waiver was offered and then rescinded.
4. I was treated disrespectfully and directly blamed for PSI’s error.
The representative denied my request to speak with a supervisor at least five times, stating that no one was available. Only after I said I was willing to wait as long as necessary was I transferred to a manager named Waheed—clearly indicating that a manager had been available the entire time.
During my conversation with Waheed, he initially acknowledged that the issue—accepting payment without scheduling the exam—was a “technical difficulty.” However, when I later repeated his statement back to him, he denied having said it. When I asked to escalate the matter further, he stated that there was no one above him, which is simply not credible given my own experience working in call centers.
Waheed offered to submit a complaint and advised that someone would contact me within 24 hours. I stated that I preferred to remain on the line, regardless of how long it took. Despite repeatedly insisting that the fee could not be waived, after prolonged back-and-forth, stress, and unnecessary resistance, the fee was ultimately waived anyway—proving that it was possible all along. Just to clarify, the only reason a solution was provided was because I pushed and fought for it. I was on the line with this poor excuse of a company for 47 minutes!
This entire experience was exhausting, disrespectful, and completely avoidable. PSI had no issue accepting my last $50, failed to provide the service I paid for, blamed me for their error, and subjected me to misleading statements and poor treatment. I am now forced to wait for my bank to reverse the charge and hope and pray that I am actually on the schedule this time—I have zero confidence that the same issue won’t occur.
I want this documented clearly: PSI Exams is a company I would strongly advise others to avoid if at all possible. Individuals taking these exams are trying to improve their lives and invest in their futures. The way I was treated shows a profound lack of care, accountability, and professionalism.
After this experience, I have no desire to ever spend another dollar with PSI and will be actively seeking alternative pathways to obtain any future licenses. No one should have to endure this level of incompetence and disrespect simply to sit for an exam.
If I could rate my experience 0 stars, I would.

this is a scam there system glitches…
this is a scam there system glitches and i dont get to take my exam. i call and complain they tell me they are gonna escalate the situation and I never hear back from them. I call them back and they say they are gonna escalate it again and this keeps going on. I have paid for multiple tests that i was unable to take and i finally got a supervisor on the phone who refused to refung my test and told me he was the higest authority that i could speak to and all he could do is escalate the matter. he then hung up on me. If this isant a scam i dont know what is. neither the ce shop or psi will offer any help in this matter. in my oppinion dont take your tests over night there is no one to assist with tecnical problems and you will have to pay again.

Horrid money grabbing company.
My exam got all of the green lights from the pre exam tests. Wouldn't launch on exam day. Got on to their tech support who couldn't figure it out, it was now too late to begin anyway. Called them to reschedule, they needed to investigate. Result of their "investigation" was that I didn't turn up despite being on the phone to their tech support. I lost the $500 exam, tough luck. Got on to ISACA themselves who sorted it in minutes.

Horrible customer service, and they take days, if not weeks, to get back to you. I went through their real estate course, and in a nutshell, since the list is long, it was not worth enrolling in their system. There are many real estate courses out there that you can choose from. PSI is not something I would recommend.
I spent over $300 dollars on purchasing study kits and practice tests to help me study and it didn't help me much at all. The actual real estate test wasn't even close to my practice test. I passed their practice tests but failed the real estate one twice. I also accidentally purchased two product and asked for a refund, being that I made a mistake and they wouldn't give me a refund.
The list is long. Just reconsider using them if you are. There are plenty of better platforms you can choose from.

I had purchased a practice test. I took it a few days before my VTNE. After the test, I attempted to review my results and they wouldn’t pull up. After a while of trying reloading the page, I called the help line and the lady said I would get it before the end of the day. I didn’t. The next day was Christmas so I couldn’t call back until the day after. I called back and explained the situation again. I explained that my VTNE was tomorrow and didn’t have results from my practice test. I explained that since my VTNE was first thing tomorrow and I hadn’t seen my results or been able to review the questions that I got wrong, I inquired about a refund. They ignored the question completely and told me that my results would be in soon. I didn’t get my results until 2 minutes before walking into the testing center. I had enough time to see that I failed which did wonders for my anxiety before walking in to take the biggest test of my life. I never even had time to review the test. I feel like I was due a refund as the practice test didn’t help me at all in preparing for my exam. All it did was cause me more stress and anxiety in the days leading up to it.
