PSI is a ridiculously incompetent…
PSI is a ridiculously incompetent company. When registering for my test, I provided all of the necessary documentation. There was no place to insert initials into the demographic information.
On the day of my test the proctor would not accept my license because my initials are on it. Customer service was unwilling to do anything. They put me on hold only to come back and read a script. They REFUSED to allow me to take the test even though no one else in the world has my name and I look exactly like the person in the photo. The proctor, nor the customer service agent would not even confirm what the problem was so I could resolve it. How am I supposed to make sure my ID is correct if you won't tell me what is going on?
UPDATE: I confirmed with NASM that only the first and last name must match on the ID and that PSI made an error in not admitting me. No one at PSI was willing to admit to the error. I am waiting on NASM to issue a ticket to PSI to correct their error
The reply from PSI is meaningless - as noted in their response, ID requirements are set by the program, and yet they did not follow those requirements. Consequently, my one star review stands.

I was extremely disappointed that because my practice test was “redeemed” by another account I could never take the test and couldn’t get a new code even after explaining the situation. I wasted money and it’s very frustrating. You should want to work and help your customers more.

Such an inconvenience change of address and renewal fee
I got mailed the paper work to renew my license certification and when I arrived at the Parsippany office at 239 New Road, Building A, Suite 203, Parsippany, NJ there was a sign on the door stating that the office moved to 7 Entin Road, Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. Now both me and my daughter had to leave work early and drive over an hour in traffic just to find out that we had to drive to a different location because the company moved and not only that, now the office is only open until 6pm instead of 7pm. Then when I arrived the renewal voucher that I received from my employer wasn’t enough because there was a price increase that also was not communicated. This organization has to do better with updating and informing clients of the most up to date information because this was a great inconvenience. This was completely unacceptable and this has to improve moving forward or I will report this organization to the business bureau and file a complaint.

Poor Content
The material I was sold was not pertaining to the actual exam I was taking. For my North Carolina Electrical license exam, I had purchased the bundle for training. The content is general electrical and not NEC code, and NEC code is what the exam is on. I have already reached out for a refund and was denied (by Nompumelelo.Khubeka), so I have now begun a dispute with my credit card company.

I ordered 2 different practice tests. The first one I ordered i couldn't use. The 2nd one was the wrong one. Super easy nothing like the journeyman exam i had recieved from you before. So I feel like I was ripped off 50 dollars.

System Update During Exam
During one the exam, the system updated and it kicked me out of the exam. Although this only lasted a few minutes, it still should have taken place in the middle of an exam. For such a high stake and stress exam, situations like this should happen. Things such as these can interrupt a test takers rhythm. Additionally, we are tested on 125 questions, but only graded on 115. If 125 questions are being asked, a test taker should be eligible to receive credit for 125 questions.

I subsequently called and was told that payment was made, but the exam needed to be scheduled. OK, lets do that. Wait. Now Im told that there is a server issue, call back later.
I waited four hours and called back, to no avail...three more times and no one can now even find my payment.

What didn't go wrong
Originally students' access were missing from a month old purchase. It took 4 days of calling and emailing to retrieve the needed information. I had students that needed to retest and the website had error messages. Information relayed over the phone from the PSI rep was wrong, hence I ordered materials incorrectly. Now when the students go to test, the website freezes or skips over questions. Not happy with this product.

I forgot my password and tried several times to retrieve it. I finally called customer service. I was told by the gentleman I spoke with that the phone number I called didn't have anything to do with the test I was taking and he could not reset my password.
I found another phone number and called it. Spoke with a very nice lady, who said she could not help me reset my password, but gave me an email address that would get me into contact with someone who could reset my password. That email address came back as an error message. UGH... getting frustrated at this point. I then proceeded to set up a new account and then the test I purchased linked up to it. Not sure what happened?
