Perfect family day out
We had a great day at Pleasurewood Hills for my granddaughter’s birthday. A couple of the rides were out of action, which was a little disappointing, but we could definitely see that improvements have been made around the park.
There was still plenty to do and everyone had a really enjoyable day. We also found the food prices very reasonable, which was a nice surprise for a family attraction.
It was a lovely way to celebrate her birthday and we’ll definitely be returning.
Hilariously bad
Hilariously bad. Something you’d expect to see in a horror movie where it starts at the derelict theme park (calling it that is a stretch.
I genuinely think the owners should lean into the fact it’s so bad and make it part of the experience. Like a horror park or something. Would be great at Halloween as it’s so bad. Weeds everywhere, fences falling apart, rides broken and held together with cobwebs and cable ties.
I wouldn’t have left a review. However, the three threats of ‘being chucked off the ride’ are worthy of a mention.
1) elephants. Don’t press the buttons too much of you’ll get chucked off the ride.
2) carousel. Don’t stand up or you’ll get chucked off the ride.
3) bumper carts. Firstly, there was 4 in action, which 5 piled in the corner waiting repair. In fairness they were being repaired. But the threat was; don’t drive into the maintenance man or you’ll be chucked off the ride. Roger that.
How bad it was kind of made it more enjoyable. Gave us something to laugh at.
Would never go back. Ta.
Not great
Excessive charges to get in and then to pay for parking on what is a field is a rip off , very few disabled bays , we had 2 blue badge holders and had to park right at the other end of car park , very depressing atmosphere round the park and non riders have to pay the same price as riders , food and drink booths so slow we gave up in the end but the grandkids enjoyed the rides which is the only reason I gave 2 stars not 1 .
Great Day Out
Firstly the prices were reasonable. Staff on entry friendly and helpful when I enquired about parking and rides. Went to parrot coffee / ice cream / stand, the young girl serving was amazing. Coffee was OK, tea was good. Donuts were good. Grandkids went on lots of rides. All very good. Litter pickers everywhere, so park was clean and tidy. Don't normally leave reviews but we had a great time and will definitely go back

DISAPOINTED
2 rides wasnt working, the carousel didnt have any music on as it allways does but the ride was so creeky went so slow needed some oil. The superman was really slow, bumpy and it used to go quick, its sad to see pleasurewood hills has gone down hill, 90s waa the best time the armosphere was amazing, the staff was allways friendly approaching you, lots of laughs with woody.
Never had to pay for parking,
Bring back some of the old rides, improve the atmosphere, walking in the park feels depressing.
Its not worth £21.95 unless the park improves, £10pp i would say
Its a shame
Had a great time at Pleasurewood Hills
Had a great time at Pleasurewood Hills. Everything was bright and fresh. No long waits for rides and the staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Great place to go and well worth the price
We went today and the park is nice, friendly, happy to be in. You can go on lots of rides, enjoy yourself, relax, see the different things the have there. And the pricing to go is very good. We had a fantastic day, got to go on everything. The place is well kept, clean, no issues at all. Everything about this park is better than a lot I’ve been to. I would highly recommend going there.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Our daughter attended a beavers/scouts trip here and we received a parking fine for dropping her off and collecting her for £170. Our parents also received the same fine for dropping off her sister so we have just had to pay £340 in fines (not including park entry tickets too!) for simply being in their car park for 18 mins despite us paying the £3 drop off fee. Disgusting attitude and experience and will certainly never return.

Great place, great value for money
Great place! Yes it’s a bit run down in places but it’s great value for money and I’m sure updating it further would drive the prices up. No queues, lots to do, there’s some great rides and we went with children ages 4 through to 12 years old and they all had a great day. Even us adults had fun! Sea lion show and circus were great, It’s so nostalgic having gone every year as a child. Love seeing a lot of the rides from then are still here. Fun day out

Is great to see this park surviving but only just
Is great to see this park surviving , but that's only just . Everywhere you go in this park is crying out for investment and there is obviously no or little chance of that .
With new pricing structure and parking charges it is now imperative that investment in new rides and landscaping is forthcoming or the survival of this great little park is in real danger .

Run down
I wouldn't recommend this theme park to anyone looks run down, the French company say its invested in it since 2011
All I can say is in some parts yes but in other areas not ,
I personally think the park needs a year closed and for work to be carried out and some new rides ,
Even down to woody bear he looked old and dirty so only one star

Carl
As soon as we arrived at the carpark ,Carl the first-aider/car parking attend/security/manager of the park came flying over (as fast as a jet plane) and helped us find a parking space , he guided us around the park and proceeded to tell us all the longstanding history of Woody the bear...Carl was a blessing , we will be back for carl

Abandoned theme park that's still open
If it wasn't for the fact that I paid to get in, I could have been an urban explorer looking around an abandoned theme park.
Sorry (not sorry) this place is now an absolute disgrace - fallen from a lovely local attraction to a theme park that has been allowed to fall apart. So sad to see; lots of investment 11 years ago when we first visited but neglected since due to false promises, it seems, by 'Looping Group', the French company that bought the park some years ago. This company seem to be wringing the last possible finance from the park before it is closed.
Some of the rides today were closed 'for maintenence' (which is a concern in its own right), staff were lovely, but it's pretty clear they are fed up.
Plus points:
1. The park was open.
2. The staff were friendly.
Negative points:
1. The park was open.
Please (pretty please, with a cherry on top) someone tell Laurent Bruloy (owner of Looping Group) that his takeover of this theme park and subsequent management is the worst thing that could have happened in its history.
Trustpilot doesnt allow for pictures to accompany revirews but i took 20-odd of how this park is dilapidated and filthy dirty. Honestly, they look like an Urban Explorer's effort to document an abandoned theme park.
To the person at Pleasurewood Hills whose job it is to read reviews; forward this review to senior management before it is, truly, too late for you all.

Shockingly bad
Shockingly bad. Many of the popular and best rides were closed yesterday. One broke down when we were in the queue, another broke down when we were on it and we were trapped in the dark for over 15 minutes. The park is run down and there seemed to be a lack of staff so many rides were closed. Never again and a total waste of money. Oh and you have to pay an addition £3 to park in a field.

Pleasurewood hills
Pleasurewood hills, is a great park, its not alton towers but its cheaper and easier to get to!!! Still lits of fun. My only complaint is the fast track wrist bands! Waiting for a ride and a load of jumped up over privileged kids jump the queue! I know they pay but so do I!!!!

Uks worst theme park
Without a doubt, the worst theme park in the UK,
Broken down, poor maintained rides, run down, depressing scenery and high prices.
Barely any rides left now, when I was a child there was a lot more attractions here, now, half the buildings are closed, a few food shacks and toilets are all that remain.
My son hated it so much that he wanted to leave and even had an anxiety attack because of how much it cost to get in. £60 for 2 riders a 1 non rider.
Now food, tske a packed lunch cause it's a rip off for food here, £10 for a burger on its own, or £15 to get it with fries and a drink, that's £15 a person, £45 for 3 people to eat.
Save your money, go to pleasure beach instead, much better value for money

The whole place should be knocked down
The whole place should be knocked down, rides closed, cafe's boarded up and bored staff. Not helpful with parking and place was flooded. Not worth the cost.
