Fine until something goes wrong
Fine until something goes wrong, then seem to be fine with you not being able to keep up with your medication because of there faulty equipment. Basically they don't care, wish i had read Trustpilot before giving them any money.
I now use a different pharmacy and will avoid ASDA all together, if they can't get something as important as medication right, i'm not going to trust them with my food!
Email sent to the CEO and that was passed back to customer service, who sent an email saying they would be in contact shortly, that was 12 days ago, no further comment needed, the issue is from the top down, so no chance they are going to get any better any chance soon!
They are not pharmacists
They are thieves and keep your medication for themselves. So far they have stolen all of my amitriptyline and I have non now so suffering really bad. Had to call 111 for emergency help because of them steeling my medication. They have stollen one and a half months of maradol from me this week too. I am reporting them to the right officials to get them prosecuted for theft. Even my doctor has proven that he prescribed them to that pharmacy.
Avoid at ALL costs!
I had a prescription sent to Asda Pharmacy, Castleford on 19th Aug. I gave them time to process and called in after work on the 21st Aug. On arrival they didn't have it in stock, and they told me to call back. I arrived tonight after work (27th Aug). Staff member told me they didn't have the item and they couldn't find a prescription, pharmacy staff member refused to look at the proof it had been sent. I explained her colleagues had ordered the item 7 days ago, she looked in the back again and said she found it and said it needed to be dispensed. I spent another 30+ minutes in store and returned to the counter, once again she said they didn't have the item in stock, she wouldn't explain where it had gone in the last 30+ minutes, her last words were she wasn't working last Friday and she couldn't comment. I can't describe how rude she was throughout, other customers in the queque told me horror stories from this 'pharmacy' it is clear reading the reviews it should be closed down asap!!
This is regarding Eastleigh Pharmacy…
This is regarding Eastleigh Pharmacy Eastleigh Branch.
I have never been so disappointed or angry regarding the total lack of politeness or help on Wednesday the 26/08/2026, from the pharmacist on duty. Was told medication would be in pm that day rang to check, after 10 attempts someone eventually answered, and rudely told would have to wait until next day due to meds this was not acceptable as would have caused huge withdrawal symptoms, her reply was tough either wait or collect prescription and go else where. Due to mobility issues sent a member of family to collect prescription she was told that it had already been released, rang me and I said not correct after queing for another 10mins the prescription was retrieved from the bin and handed over. There is no email address to complain, tel number is connected to overseas so they are not interested. What a totally rude pharmacist and so unhelpful, and just picked up phone and hung up continually. Sorry for the rant but my stress levels are through the roof
Awful customer service
Awful customer service! I’ve never had a quick/positive experience here and will be moving. Every single time they’re either hiding out back or talking to each other rather than helping the customers. Will always ask you to wait before acknowledging you…
A couple of weeks ago, I went in and my prescription wasn’t ready which was fine I came back later which happened to be 10 minutes before they were closing for lunch even though these times weren’t stated was then told they won’t be able to do it until after and I couldn’t wait that long so I had to try another day and again once I arrive I’m told it’ll be a 20 minute wait. I don’t know why it’s so hard as when I’ve gone to boots they get it immediately.
Went again this morning gave them my prescription after being ignored initially and again told it would take 30 minutes which I couldn’t hang around for.
Very disgusted with pharmacist at asda…
Very disgusted with pharmacist at asda Linwood been constantly very rude to myself a patient who when the doctor advised iv to get from the chemist she refused even in an emergency She needs to find another occupation as she has no clue how to deal with patients or can show any empathy. Today I’m lucky I found another chemist but I will be taking this matter further as a health care professional no patient should take such rudeness. She has done this in front of other customers in store. She won’t be doing it again
Lack of duty of care - unfit for purpose
There is no call when they receive prescriptions or text
They don't answer the phone
You go home and find out medication is missing
One pharmacist Harry is rude and dont know how to speak to customer .
You stand in the line to collect prescriptions and they tell you to come back again then stand in the line again
Staff turnover is high

Almost success but no trust!
Everything went so well, that is until a very expensive injector pen failed to work, no support, no replacement and no refund - now badgering me for a reorder!
No chance, good weight loss but trust now lost - reliable progression is more important than relying on a poor supplier!
Shockingly bad
Shockingly bad. Never have items in stock and frequently mess up orders.
I’ve stopped using them now and have my repeat prescription sent elsewhere.
They don’t have enough staff and queues are always huge.

A bad chemist with bad staff
I really don’t usually leave reviews on businesses especially negative ones, but I’ve been to the Asda chemist in Washington 3 times over the past two weeks and every single time I was served by a miserable person. The first two times it was by a fairly young lady who didn’t even make eye contact with me and I had to ask her 3 times to get her to remember my name for the prescription. Today was even worse, this man who I think was probably the pharmacist was really really slow in coming to serve me. He knew I was there and he ignored me for ages. When I did get seen it was strange and I felt like a naughty child being told off at school….. just because I couldn’t remember the name of the medication I needed. I ended up using Google to check and yes it took me a few minutes but there was no one else waiting to be seen and he didn’t exactly look busy. I’m an older gentleman so yes it probably takes me longer than average to use technology but this shouldn’t effect the quality of service in a chemist.
My wife and I will not be coming back to ASDA pharmacy and we’ve also decided to get out food shopping from Sainsburys as the staff there are much more polite and can’t do enough for you. Avoid this chemist and it’s terrible members of staff
Terrible customer care
I have received absolutely terrible customer service from this pharmacy at The Galleries, in Washington. I suffer with chronic migraines, as diagnosed by a Consultant Neurologist and my GP has referred me to a specialist, who I saw yesterday. He has put me on 8mg of Candesartan, but told me that it’ll take several weeks before it starts to reduce the frequency and severity of my migraine headaches, which are very severe.
Up until this point, and after seeing two different GP’s, I’ve been buying Nurofen Plus, as instructed by my doctor. Unfortunately, I have now been refused service, on the grounds of the medication being addictive due to containing codeine phosphate. On a few occasions, I’ve been dealt with by a little, Indian pharmacist, who is possibly the rudest, least caring man I’ve met in recent years. His advice - just take paracetamol and see your doctor. I’ve explained that I’ve seen two doctors and now a specialist and that I just need to get through the few remaining weeks, but he wouldn’t serve me, leaving me in pain, distressed and obviously unable to see a doctor for days.
I’m a qualified healthcare professional and I know, only too well, what pharmacists are and are not allowed to do, and I really feel like this man is just getting off abusing the little power he has. I have offered to show him my appointment updates, on my phone, but he couldn’t have cared less. I’m a firm believer in that people who work in healthcare should be caring and empathetic, so I just don’t understand this man’s poor attitude. He knows only too well that a migraine cannot effectively be treated with paracetamol and he’s acting like I’ve not bothered to get the appropriate help.
I’m very angry and disappointed and may yet raise a formal complaint re: this man and his complete lack of care and professionalism, not to mention his rude behaviour.
Thank you
Dr. Robinson
1 Hour 10 Mins for a Prescription
This is the last time Im going to use this pharmacy. It was closed when I arrived at 16.35 (16.30-17.00), so i hung around as my prescription had been sent there by the doctor. They opened when the Pharmacist was banging on the blinds for them to let her in. I then waited to be served by the most miserable man Ive ever come across. I was informed that it wouldnt be ready for 5-10mins. I asked if I would have to queue again. He said know. I returned 10mins later to a large queue, which i had to queue in because he didnt even make eye contact with me until i got to the front of the queue. All in all to collect a prescription 1hour 10mins. Never ever again.
Sutton in Ashfield
Sutton in Ashfield. Staff unprofessional and have very little knowledge. Women on shift, Karen, how fitting, was rude and confrontational. Very miserable woman. Pharmacist on duty, a woman whose name I didn’t catch was also uninterested and provided very poor customer service.
Worst pharmacist
The Lowestoft branch is useless, some days not open because pharmacist not shown up and other times staff just watch from hatch laughing and chatting rather than serve
Stay well away from this pharmacy
Asda Pharmacy at Morley has got gradually worse over the last year. There staff use to be helpful and polite. Now you are left standing at the counter whilst they ignore you. Today I have been to collect my medication only to be told that even though they have had my prescription for 4 days it is stood in a back log awaiting sign off by the pharmacist and I will need to go back. I have been told this numerous times before. I have now taken action and changed my requested pharmacy to a pleasant, polite and helpful one! I will be staying away from Asda pharmacy in Future!!!
I feel transparent in this pharmacy
I feel transparent in this pharmacy, I have left several times without what I have needed after simply being ignored.
Was given a used injection
Was given a used injection. I provided all the evidence of a used pen immediately. every email is making a different story, they refused to help or take the product back and give me a refund. Very dangerous acts here. Do not waste your money pr take a risk with them
ASDA PHARMACY LANGLEY MILL
ASDA PHARMACY LANGLEY MILL
Stood in a queue with 2 customers in front of me yesterday morning waiting to be served.
I’m shocked that I stood for a good 10 minutes before walking away. The 3 members of staff totally ignored us and didn’t even make eye contact never mind say something polite like we will be with you in a couple of minutes.
I’m also shocked to see so many other comments on here saying basically saying the same thing.
The staff should feel ashamed of themselves, they looked totally miserable and clearly didn’t want to be there, if they are as unhappy as they looked they should find alternative jobs. If they won’t leave they should be sacked as their level of customer service is appalling.
I don’t know who is responsible for them, Asda, The NHS or someone else but whoever it is they really need to make some staff changes as it’s the worst customer service I’ve experienced in many years.
