i chose page & wells because they offered the best price on my property, and the commission rate was reasonable. and, i'm glad i did, because it wasn't an easy sale. mike and lynne at the bearsted branch really pulled out all the stops to get the result i wanted, they couldn't have been more helpful. i couldn't recommend them highly enough, and i wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

After moving in to a property marketed by Page and Wells, it became apparent that we were the first occupants. The carpets were filthy, lampshades dusty, walls grubby, it was a very old dated and tired property ' with potential' to improve. We paid £160 to have the carpets cleaned, £240 for a new vinyl floor, as the one in the bedroom had pretty much disintegrated, replaced several worn curtain tracks, re decorated every room with colours less offensive on the eyes, and never asked for a penny in reimbursement. We looked after the place as best we could and upon leaving were told they would be keeping almost £800 of my deposit, for not getting the place professionally cleaned, even though it wasn't done for us upon moving in, replacing a kitchen door, because of cracks in one of the glass panes, caused by the wind slamming the door which only happened because the catch never worked, complete replacement of the door handles because due to age and wear, one had come off and the other one was worn. An overgrown garden was the only thing I had some agreement with, however £800!
Getting the amount deducted to under £400 shows the landlords were trying it on.
Not a word of thanks for the interior work we did, and the money we spent for future tenants to benefit.
I've nothing but resentment for this lot, and their morally bankrupt landlords.

Nicola and Steve of Page & Wells Maidstone were excellent in supporting us with a fairly protracted move in August 2021. Provided a sensible valuation and then achieved over the asking price, which is ultimately what you want.

Main value was after the property was sold STC, with plenty of useful advice and sage wisdom on handling buyers and keeping the wider chain together - that's ultimately what you pay for, and would do it again if selling or buying in the Page & Wells area. Recommended

I contacted Page & Wells Loose branch to sell my home & when James came around I knew exactly who I was going with, as soon as he walked through the door we received a warm, friendly & professional welcome, I can honestly say James was with us from the beginning right the way through to the end, selling your home is extremely stressful but James looked after us all the way through, he couldn’t be more helpful, all problems, the silliest of questions we had, he dealt with, James and Page & Wells really made our dreams come true. We moved from Coxheath, Maidstone to a lovely property by the sea... & you know what, he then done exactly the same for my elderly parents, moved them from Maidstone to St. Mary’s Bay... Elderly couple, not on the internet, absolutely not a problem, again looked after them from start to finish....

When my mother died in 2016 Page & Wells sold her property for us & we were so impressed by the service we received that they were the automatic choice as estate agents for us when my father-in-law died earlier this year (2021) to find a buyer & arrange the sale of his property in Bearsted.

All very straight forward you may think but we happen to live 300 plus miles away & the distance plus the pandemic conspired to make things as difficult as possible.

Page & Wells made the process as easy as they did for us in 2016, keeping us fully informed at all times via email & website & offering guidance when we required it.

The sale was completed in good time with a minimum of fuss.
