Alex has been a shining star throughout my Mortgage Application process. For a first time buyer it can be pretty nerve racking and a very daunting experience but he made the whole process so clear and easy to understand.

Right from the start Alex guided me through my Right to Buy mortgage. I’d approached other brokers but they’d told me a couldn’t have the additional lending I needed for improvements. Alex really knows his stuff. My biggest wait was the RTB process with the council, as soon as I had my purchase price, Alex was on the ball. From receiving my RTB purchase price to Alex setting up a meeting, submitting my final mortgage application and the mortgage being approve was 8 DAYS!! Alex has been nothing but spectacular throughout the whole process of organising mine and my partners Mortgage. When we first started trying to find the right lender it was a nightmare knowing what to do or who to approach. Any Mortgage Advisor we had contacted seemed to be dragging their heels with little to no urgency in regards to helping us get the best deal. When we approached Alex it was a breath of fresh air to find an Adviser who was both attentive and transparent, making sure that we were all on the same page every step of the way. Within 24 hours of speaking with Alex he had already sent us a AIP with Nationwide and we were ready to start looking for our new home. When we were viewing properties Alex was always there to make any adjustments to our AIP, making sure we had everything we needed to be successful when bidding. Eventually we had an offer accepted and started the full applications process with Nationwide. Unfortunately due some of the lenders checks Nationwide declined our application for the mortgage. This left myself and my partner in a complete panic thinking that we were going to lose the house we had been waiting so long to find. During this time Alex was a god send. He was patient and understanding making sure we understood everything that was happening. Quick as a flash he was straight back to finding us another great deal. Within a few minutes he came back with a AIP from West Brom building society. Nervous about the outcome with West Brom following the declined application with Nationwide, myself and my partner could of potentially been described as manic. But….After only waiting 4 DAYS!! Alex came back with an approved mortgage offer from West Brom meaning we didn’t have to pull our offer. Alex has been an invaluable asset through this whole process. He was always at the end of the phone, email or text to put our minds at ease when in a state of panic, giving the a level of customer care which will be borderline impossible to beat and for that we are soooo grateful!! What made my experience great? As a nurse and single mother of a mini army I was turned away by many brokers. I signed with my first broken in July 2023. 8 weeks we were no closer to getting an AIP so I chose to move to another broker who again promised me that a solution would be found and again I was sending over all of my documents and filling out forms etc, to be told I should wait a few months and maybe I may attract a better interest rate. My house was a RTB which is a timed process from the day of offer. I was conscious that I was going to run out of time and the offer rescinded. I went back to the drawing board and found an independent broker on instagram who made reference to her wealth of experience of working with all types of clients and that she was sure to be able to help me. For the 3rd time I submit my details, gather documents and wait 8 days to receive a blunt response on what’s app that my income was not sufficient. Now I knew this was incorrect as my income would allowed me to buy borrow almost double that I was wanting. Again I was left deflated and on the verge of rejecting the offer myself. I came across Alex when I was scrolling through instagram one evening and told myself he was my last shot! And to my surprise after 24 days I received and accepted a full mortgage offer! This gentleman was so patient and on call to me when he didn’t need to be. He answered all questions and reassured me through out the whole process! We are now moving through the final conveyancing stages and it wouldn’t have been possible to of got here without Alex.
