I bought for myself first before gifting. I got the starter pack. And then got a
Discount on a second starter pack.

The result? I'm glad I tried the product. And I cancelled my membership because it's not something I'd buy again.

Here are, in my opinion, the pros and cons of the product.

Pros:

1) This is HIGH QUALITY popcorn. Hands down. No way around it. The end result at the end of the 2.5 min in the microwave leaves perfectly crunchy popcorn. Mostly popped kernals. It tastes the same way when I make my own on the stove.

To the people who said mostly unpopped may not have used the test pack which is included to test your microwave's power.

The directions say it ranges from 90-180 secs to get most of the kernals popped. If you have a weaker or old model, it may take longer.

2) The food-grade silicone popper- great! Dishwasher friendly, easy to use, easy to clean, love the steamholes, love that that lid and handles do not get hot.

3) The flavors are interesting. haha. I was very surprised at the Dill Pickle one - it smelled like pickles and at first I was turned off, but then I couldn't stop eating it. Curious about the Maui heat, cinnalicious and salted caramel.

4) I think you get a large serving size of the popcorn. It says Each pack of kernels feeds 3 people. Three may be pushing it. But it was too much for me.

Cons:

1) Using Palm oil. Palm oil is high in saturated fat. Each popcorn pack packs 7-8g of fat/satfat. IMO- that's too much...for popcorn. And Sucralose, an artificial sweetner in their sweet popcorn packs.

2) If the turn-table in your microwave inadvertently stops turning and you don't know, the popcorn will burn in the silicone bowl and it will leave a stench of burning for days in your home. Ask me how I know. :)

3) The price is a bit steep as an ongoing subscription. Although, I do like that they give you credits to buy free movies on them. That's a fun perk.

4) It's not the best popcorn I've ever tasted- like the influencers want you to believe. It's good for what it is but it doesn't beat what I make at home...In taste, in price and in fat.

So, I'd say, it would make for a nice gift and maybe good to try, if you want. Maybe even a once in a while
Snack splurge, but overall, the best deal from trying is owning the bowl.

Also, this site and company is NOT a Scam.

If someone got charged inappropriately, chances are they didn't read that it's a subscription.

Pay attention when you buy online and cancel anything that looks like it may be a sub, immediately, before you forget.

Overall the system desvered a three but it went stale within 6 months (unheard of for popcorn). Flavors were good. Kernels barely popped in 5min when standard kernels pop in 3min. Bowl is useless . Won’t reorder but was a playful gift

Spent $71.00 on bland popcorn. The amount of popcorn from each bag was disappointing. The flavorless popcorn was a joke. Lots of unpopped kernels after 5 minutes of popping in the bowl they included. Orville Redenbacher has better flavor for a fraction of the cost.

Great, delicious product and Outstanding customer service - providing a correction to fix my error when they could have easily said “too bad.” Professional, prompt and courteous!

Input wrong delivery address. I sent an email within minutes of placing the order. Many emails and days later I am told they cannot change the delivery address. All over their site it says ships with 2-5 days. I sent a correction with minutes of placing the order.
Granted it was MY mistake. I will not being making same mistake twice!! I do not care how good the popcorn is...NEVER AGAIN will I order them again!!

I had a problem when my popcorn was delivered. You kept sending discounts to buy but i didn’t want the same thing to happen, melted flavoring from the kernels. I sent a note and received a quick response and a solution! What, this is unheard of these days. I will continue to buy my popcorn with you in the winter months to last through summer until you find a solution. Thank you.

Salty Caramel is flavored with Splendid.. gives a terrible after taste. Wife enjoys it but I'll not eat again.

It's just nothing special. Just very expensive popcorn with a very large marketing budget. I don't recommend it for the money nor for the idea that it is particularly good or particularly well flavored popcorn. It is none of the above.

Outstanding popcorn because of its texture, flavor and pop ability. We love this popcorn. It so easy to make, eat and enjoy. We are simply popcorn fanatics and it is our go to snack. Love! Love! Love! their butter flavored popcorn.

Their customer service is exceptional.
Good product too!

Don't buy Opopop brand popcorn, it's a scam, even when it does pop it's gross, stinks up kitchen for days, and they won't refund you
