The experience from start to finish was extremely flawless and professional. From the moment I entered Onaro's website, I was already aware that I would be dealing with a company with a sharp attention to detail and a 'boutique like' feel. The first interaction with James did not disappoint, I was greeted with a cordial and sincere approach which gave me the sense of security one seeks when purchasing a timepiece. I was able to come to their office the same day and purchase the watch. Needless to say, the watch was precisely as described and the transaction could not have been any better. Having now completed my purchase of a watch from Onaro I feel it only right that I review the experience.

I will start by stating that it has been one of the most pleasurable buying experiences that I have had. From the initial enquiry that I made through the Onaro website and the fast response that I received from Matthew, the signs were there that this was going to be a good experience. Matthew was responsive, answered all my questions, helped me to assess the options that were presented in terms of the same model of watch but of different ages and condition, all of which helped me to get to my preferred option within the budget that I had set.

It was obvious that Matthew did not just want to sell me a watch at the highest price, he wanted me to get the one with which we both knew I would be happy. We did indeed get there and I am extremely happy with my purchase. When Onaro state a condition as 'Brand New' it is absolutely accurate. Albeit the watch that I selected is two years old, it was in brand new condition and had obviously not been worn. The price was extremely fair too.

The icing on the cake was visiting Onaro's London office to collect my watch. Wonderful location, very discrete and secure and a great place for a coffee and a chat after the purchase was made.

I cannot recommend Onaro highly enough. They instil trust from the outset, and in this type of transaction that counts for a lot. Onaro can add one more customer for life to what I am sure is a very long list.

I messaged James, I was looking for a specific model at very short notice.
A shortwhile later I was speaking with James at length. James's knowledge is extensive and impartial, and at no point is there ever a hard sell. It is immediately clear he knows his business and is well connected.
It was refreshing to speak to someone with a positive 'can do' attitude.
James remained in regular contact and soon had located good match to the brief.
The price was fairly negotiated and arrangements to collect from the Knightsbridge office were made.
On the day of collection we were greeted by Matt and escorted to Onaro's office. The perfect watch was presented to us and the transaction was made promptly.
Onaro kindly extended the offer of lunch to my wife and I, at their Knightsbridge base, which was a well received gesture between our journeys. This was a nice touch and again demonstrates their level of understanding and commitment to providing their clients with a Five Star experience, well done boys.

Inspired by James's success and attentiveness, I decided to take along two watches that needed repair. These were my son's watches and had sat in my case for a few years inoperative. I had previously taken these watches to two local dealers with in house repair facilities. On both occasions I had been referred elsewhere and neither of the dealers were interested in assisting with the repairs.
Simply, handed these to James, he was confident he could get them both repaired quickly! .....In less than a week both were returned working 💪

Having acquired my Grand Lange 1 from Onaro (which was a great experience) it developed an unexpected issue. I spoke to Matthew and James who asked me to bring the watch into them.
They couldn’t explain the issue, so it went to their watchmaker who was able to identify and solve the problem. The communication from
Matthew and James was outstanding, and they ensured the watch was in perfect working order before I went in to collect it.

Buying a luxury watch without seeing it in person or meeting the vendor can be stressful. James from Onaro provided great advice and constant communication with no pressure at all. It was clear that he wanted me to buy the correct watch and have a good experience, both of which were achieved.
