I had two logos made by Octalogo and am pleased with the end results.

Jay Barry was head of my project. Jay and the octalogo team communicated well through an email platform and followed up by phone. They were eager to please and very patient with me as I asked lots of questions and they addressed all my concerns. Octalogo was very reasonable with their offers and I was very satisfied with my two logos that included all the high resolution files - overall a very good value and high quality work for the price.

Professional, quick turnaround. Great communication with easy to use collaboration tools to follow progress.

Little slow on logo update. Also, thought copyright was included in price but was not. Overall I'm happy.

i opted octalogo to get my website design. At first i wasn't sure that would this produce me the website that i wanted. Result what i never expected.
First they took the task from me in a very reasonable price which was surprising. After when the project started the project manager was very helpful and co operative with me. He was in contact with me on every stage and at last the project was delivered and brought live in a appropriate time frame.

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT! PLEASE READ! JOIN ME! I have given this company, as of 2/20/18 one option, to REFUND ALL money paid. I have disputed all 5 credit card charges. I bought services in advance that they could not deliver on or were not as advertised. I was completely mistreated, scammed, bullied, lied to, and threatened. I have spoken to attorneys to begin the legal process.

On 2/21/18, I noticed that instead of responding to me like a reputable company would online, Octa Logo report my review, stating, that they “believe this reviewer has created multiple profiles to publish negative reviews”. FALSE. I was able to rectify the situation and this review was reinstated. It has been confirmed that I can write multiple reviews about the same company here because I had two separate buying experiences, so please read my other review as well.

I wrote my review in order to share my experiences and to protect others from the inappropriate FRAUDULENT business practices of Octa Logo. All of my statements CAN BE VERIFIED with copies of emails, screen shots, graphics, chat dialogs, documents collaborating reviews, and witnesses if anyone would like to question or see proof of anything I have stated in this review. I have proof of UNFAIR and DECEPTIVE PRACTICES, FALSE ADVERTISING, AGREEMENT BREACH, DECEPTIVE MARKETING PRACTICES, COERCION, BULLYING, THREATS, NON- DELIVERY AND MORE!

I will be filing with the following organizations etc.: FBI (dIC3), BBB, FTC, local consumer affairs, Office of the Attorney General, and the Division of Consumer Affairs. Both the federal/state laws prohibit practices that are determined to be unfair or deceptive to the consumer. (NJ: N.J.S.A. 2C:21-7, FDUTPA sections 501.201 - .213). CHECK YOUR STATE LAWS, TALK TO YOUR ATTORNEY. Consumer fraud is "any unconscionable commercial practice, deception, fraud, false pretense, false promise or misrepresentation" in connection with the sale of goods, services or real estate.N.J.S. 56:8-2. STAY AWAY FROM OCTA LOGO- THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL SCAM ARTISTS!

My buying and customer service experience with Octa Logo was extremely disappointing, unprofessional, insulting and fraudulent. The entire interaction was unsatisfactory at best. Communication was very poor (CONFUSING, MANIPULATIVE, THREATENING); at times emails were ignored completely, communication between the Octa Logo employees was next to nothing, no one knew what the other said, did, offered, or threatened. Numerous times they reneged on portions of our agreements, denying that another employee said something, offered something, refusing to provide the services paid for, even if there was written documentation as proof. After months of back and forth, the results were always poor at best. Minimum effort was given to any of my instructions, and it would take days or weeks of emailing just to get an issue resolved, if I ever received a response at all. There seemed to always be inconsistencies or problems. Each time, I was only given excuses as to why my instructions were not followed or why parts of my emails would be ignored completely. Execution was horrific. I even tried to change my direction to accommodate them. The interaction with Octa Logo has caused me to lose almost a year’s worth of business, customers, time, money, and caused enormous stress.

I had to draw/edit my own designs; send them ideas, send over annotated screen shots to their design team on how to design a web page, continually complained that the designs presented were blurry only to be told they were not, research and learn in order to discuss with their team when they failed at execution. Copy and paste text/designs were presented. Presented designs were found online. I prefer not to be confronted years down the road (once Octa Logo is long gone) for using someone else’s design.

I originally hired Octa Logo in 3/2017 to create a logo and website. I was sold a discounted package that would be “everything I needed for my logo and website” to include social media design. I paid $500, which was charged in 2 transactions: $497.65 and $2.35, Octa Logo’s attempt at tax avoidance. I told the “design consultant” that sold me the package that I did not want to use my old logo in any form and I wanted something new. I sent him my old logo, for reference only (what not to do). At this point, I was optimistic; the consultant appeared to be friendly and helpful. (NOTE: this changed drastically within a week or two when problems arose as the senior design consultant would disappear, leaving unanswered emails, unaddressed concerns, even after I sent multiple emails begging for help, apparently part of the entire scam).

On 3/10/17, to my surprise, I received 8 designs, which were just mild modifications of my old logo. I hired them to create a new logo, not redesign my old logo. Directions were not followed. The project manager stated that since I sent my old logo, they decided to work with that – not what I paid or asked for. This was the beginning of absolute hell.

During my experience with Octa Logo, the package purchased seemed to change, what I was sold was not what I got. (i.e. social media platform design-changed to be only banner creation- not page design; free hosting with company of my choice changed later to be free hosting with only Octa Logo: which was also disputed by the project manager as he tried to add on additional fees; banner resizing to fit website was hundreds of extra dollars, SSL cert. was not included in this all inclusive everything I need package: hundreds of dollars more. It never ended! SCAM!!! 100% ownership rights (FALSE), 100% guarantee (FALSE) 100% unique design guarantee (FALSE) and 100% money back guarantee (FALSE). MISREPRESENTATION! DECEPTIVE PRACTICES!

It is almost a year later, I still have no website (they claim that the website is almost done, but it is no where near complete), no social media designs or banners, no social media integration, parent/child tabs not complete, no content (please see other review), what has been done to the site still needs to be edited/fixed for both appearance and responsiveness and more! I was sent a non HD interpretation of a design that I came up with just so the cycle would stop, honestly I am unsure if the design "belongs" to me (even though it was my idea), I’m also unsure if parts of this design belong to someone else - I am not willing to be held accountable for their possible infringement on someone else's design/graphic- that is illegal. I emailed them to tell them that I would not accept this design for fear of infringement. In addition, it was my impression from the Octa Logo advertising & employee emails that 100% Ownership Rights meant just that. I was not aware that additional monies would be needed to be paid to obtain their certificate and then to file legal paperwork for actual copyright (see below in Example 1).

Example 1- I received an email from the original design consultant on 4/26/17 that stated that: “since my logo is complete (which is was not at that time- again no communication- design wasn’t sent to me until sometime in 5/17), apparently you forgot to get it Certified by reserving the Ownership Rights of the Design. The design has to be claimed by you through Us so we can provide you a legal Certificate for it. We do refer to ourselves as a one stop shop, thus we’d like to let you know that we offer copyright and ownership certificates, backed by the ICPBB. ICPBB stands for International Copyrights Protection Bureau for Brands. They provide security of intellectual property rights for logo designs all around the world. Kindly reply to this email so that a representative from the registration department can reach out to you and help you avail amazing price benefits due to our affiliation with ICPBB“. I found out through continued conversation with the original design consultant that the fee was an additional $299 (Email dated May 12, 2017). On the same day, the original design consultant sent an email that stated:” I have you covered on the ownership, it’s $299 and I don’t want you to bear that, consider it compensation for the delay.” Lucky me! (sarcasm).

I received a similar email from the assigned project manager on 6/29/17, stating that in order to get the copyright certificate there would be an additional fee of $100. I let my project manager know that the original design consultant said that there would be no fee for this (originally I was told that the price is $299 – then $100 - 2 different prices) – he did not believe me; he made me provide proof of the conversation with the original senior design consultant. Once I provided proof of conversation/offer, the project manager sent me a certificate. The certificate had the wrong use of verbiage pertaining to my gender (his/her). I had to ask for a revision. Obviously they just cut and paste, pay no attention to detail – similar to their emails, designs, and “forms”. Furthermore, the certificate states at the very bottom (fine print): “This certificate serves as a formal document that can be submitted to obtain legal rights to the design. However it does not stand in an any court of law. Octa Logo holds no responsibility if the design gets copied from Ms. Beverly Pak ownership."

A customer would pay $100-299 dollars for a useless certificate that would not hold up in court and not provide protection of the design in any fashion. However, their packages, emails, chats, phone conversations, and website state 100% ownership rights - FALSE ADVERTSIING- THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE!

All statements can be verified with copies of emails, copies of documents and recordings if anyone would like to question these facts. I have been manipulated and mislead and SCAMMED by OCTALOGO. I have spoken with my Lawyer about OCTALOGO. They lead you to believe that for $500.00 you will have an professional website complete until they get your credit card (which they keep on file) . I am starting a Class Action Lawsuit against this company Please join me if you have been scammed by these professional con artist.

I started with Ocalogo for a logo design. $100.00 paid. I received the logo and was pleased with it. Then they said I should copy write it so no one else could use it. $200.00 paid. I could either be protected in the United States but for a little more it would be an international copy-write. The fine print at the bottom, of this Certificate it state's the following (This certificate serves as a formal document that can be submitted to obtain Legal Right to the design. However it does not stand up an any Court Of Law. Octa Logo holds No Responsible if the design gets copied from Linda Schroeder ownership) this document is useless. They started talking to me about web design, I currently have a Shopify Store I designed. They told me that they could design my site and integrate it to my Shopify and it would rank high in the SEO. It would be mobile friendly etc etc. I agreed at a cost of $500.00 and that would get me a professional functioning high ranking site. I have stated all along that it has to integrate with Shopify, as Shopify has a lot of features that are extremely useful and would not give it up. They assured me no problem. I filled out several questionnaire about the look and content I was wanting. Each and every time I would get told we'll get back to you in 3-4 working days. This went on for months I would receive calls from a different person (not mentioning any names) offering what they call add-on at more cost if I want my site to do this that or the other thing and if you refused the extra charge it suddenly became free and no written break down for what the money/free would provide. Their favorite line is (you are my valuable customer). They want $200.00 more to make it mobile accessible. Another call was about 1 year or a lifetime activation fee for the use of wordpress would be another $150.00 per year or $900.00 for lifetime. Then another fee for OCTALOGO to do hosting would be $120.00 for a year and $700.00 Lifetime. However on 9-20-17 I was charged $500.00 for the wordpress website, and charged again on 10-2-17 $500.00 for one year of hosting for $120.00 per year or $700.00 lifetime and SEO friendly web content by OCTALOGO,plus $150.00 per year or $900.00 lifetime for wordpress. My understanding (confirmed by an emails ) was hosting would be $120.00 per year and $700.00 lifetime and 1 year or a lifetime activation fee for the use of wordpress would be another $150.00 per year or $900.00 for lifetime. I was charged $500.00. It does not add up. The next correspondence was as follows (copied from an email: And as per our discussion over the call I can use my coupons and will provide you the complete life time hosting and life time wordpress maintenance and activation fees which is total $1600 I can give you this complete in just $499 by using my monthly coupons. and this will be the final payment of website you don't have to pay any more yearly or monthly fees ) now I feel I'm being coned. Nov 14,17 I received a request to write the content myself and they will place it on the site. Really what did I hire you For. I asked to have access to the site and was told they could not give me access until it was live. I am now getting mad. demanding my money back because I still had nothing and to this date 2-20-18 I still have no access. I was told if I wanted to keep my Shopify store I would have to acquire another domain name and have two stores as wordpress would NOT integrate with Shopify. WTH !!!!! I was told they would provide me with the same domain name only with a (-) in the middle. At this point I said Ok I am so sick of all the con. Now on 1-29-18 They want me to buy another name if I won't take it from Shopify.
I have had it with this company the story here in brief goes on and on .
I have filed a IC3 internet fraud with the FBI and plan to pursue this until something is done. They have a 100% satisfaction or your money back guarantee on their site. Which they don't honor. I still have no access or a finished site. And the last communication with them was on 1-24-18 they have my money why should the communicate. I have had it and will not stop until my $1,300.00 is returned. I will post this any place and every place. Please Join Me.

I paid $150.. I authorized $150. they took $500 (they keep your card number on file) It was supposed to be SEO friendly high ranking for the first $500. That was their pitch to get me to do the website. I am the widow of a Viet Nam Veteran deceased from service connect cancer. As well as I am a senior citizen who lives on Social Security. I feel mislead and lied to and will not stop until my money is returned. As of 2-22-18 I still have nothing and no access to what I paid for.

The logos that were designed for my new company were very good right from the start. Then they worked with me to revise the ones I liked until I was satisfied with one. This is a great value for the money!!

READ!! If you have been scammed and neglected by this company, then maybe you would be interested in what I have to say. I am looking for people to join my class action against them. I am starting a class action against this company starting tomorrow and have already been talking to attorneys about this company. They are nothing but a scam and just wants your money. They will KEEP your credit card on file without your consent. please see my story of what they did down below. I have recordings and also email snapshots if anyone needs proof of what they did (just in case they come on here and make up a story).

Look at their ratings on yelp reviews. NONE, ZERO, ZIP, POSITIVE FEEDBACKS. ALL 1 STAR... The reason why their ratings on trustpilot is higher is because they get the negative feedback removed....

I hired them for some bbcode banners to be made. $159 total. They said 48-72 hours time for this product to be made and they said I would receive the banners by end of day 2-12-2018 at latest. No response from them telling me anything about the banners not going to be finished. On 2-12-2018, I called them and told them i haven't heard anything about my banners and they "don't worry, you will have it by end of day". Then I mentioned something about a website and so they transferred me to a rep to talk about a website being built. They started being very forceful and then they kept cutting the price lower and lower and then came with a conclusion price of $350 for the website. I said OK and told them to send me an EMAIL ME THE PAYMENT LINK so I can make a payment LATER today (2-12) when I have transferred enough money in my account. Well, let's fast forward a few hours later. I am driving home from work, and was completely empty on gas. So I stopped by a gas station to get some gas. I pulled out my card (same card I used to pay them the initial $159, which now had only $50 bucks left on there.) To my surprise, my card is DECLINED. So I thought maybe it was an error, so I logged onto my credit card. My jaw dropped when i saw that octaglogo charged my card $450 for the website. I will point out a few things: 1. I NEVER consented to them keeping my credit card on file for charging any future purchases. 2. I never consented to them charging my card the $450 (or anything at all) at all 3. I specifically said to send me a payment link and let me make the payment myself, after I have put in more cash into my debit card. So I called them (on 2-13-2018) and emailed them and said they need to refund me immediately for the $450, and that I never consented to it. I also said that the logos were never sent so I am requesting a refund of $159 also. They have a 100% satisfaction or your money back guarantee (which is fake info). So since they charged my card without my consent AND did not meet the deadline for the banners. I asked for my refund for both, because I didn't want to deal with them anymore. This is after I started to search for them online and found nothing but bad reviews about them. Well, with no surprise, when I was asking them for a refund, they went around circles and said NO to the refund and said I consented to the charge, EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE RECORDING and told them to let's sit there and listen to it together. The rep said he didn't want to listen to it. Then they said we are sending you the banners now.. So then I looked online, and instead of sending me code banners, they sent me static logos (very cheap, you can get these made for 5 bucks on freelancer sites.). I have also file d IC3 internet fraud with the FBI. Thanks for reading my post, and I hope you think twice before dealing with this company.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Ended up ditching the site they created for $1000 to make my own on wix.com. We are business owners of 3 companies for the past 14 years. No strangers to business, but these guys are strangers to creating a site. The back end side was a disaster, for even things as simple as photo display and editing. Save your time and money! This company is tied in with others as well, all with foreign speaking workers. I originally got passed on to them through Logo Scientist and had contact with employees with Octa Design email addresses, too. They're all inter-connected. They connected me with a web host company after I had them secure a doman name, and the company contact shows as Pakistan...they swear they're in the states (perhaps on paper but you connect elsewhere with sometimes bad phone reception.

I asked Octa for a website, and they came through. I was nervous at the start, but I was asked often for my approval. It was then, really, that I noticed people. Gabriel Brown was there initially- a big help, and a mysterious group called 'OL Design Department.'
But throughout, Jay Barry stayed with me, informing me of progress. And generally keeping the project together.
