Steep delivery charges
Haven’t yet received the coffee table we ordered but we were pretty shocked at the £39 delivery charge for such a small item.
Definitely not left with a pleasant feeling following this shopping experience.. Felt we were being ripped off.

Our £39 delivery fee is a fixed charge regardless of the size or value of the order and is heavily subsidised by us. While we appreciate that a coffee table is a smaller item, the same delivery service applies across our furniture range. This includes a dedicated two-person delivery team and delivery to your room of choice, rather than a doorstep or kerbside service.
In fact, many furniture retailers charge a higher standard delivery fee, and in some cases this is for a less comprehensive service than the one we provide.
We do understand that delivery costs can sometimes feel disproportionate on smaller orders, and we appreciate your feedback. We hope that once your coffee table arrives, the quality of the product and service helps to improve your overall impression of us.

Very Professional Company
I purchased the Chateau Noir Oak and Black Large Sideboard. It is a truly stunning piece of furniture. It is sturdy and well made. I did have a slight quality control issue, but don't let that put you off, Customer Services sorted it within 24 hours. It looks rather 'gothic' as I have it against a black media wall, under a wall mounted TV. Certainly makes an impact. Delivery was good and it was worth paying the extra to have it unpacked. I will be ordering again from Oak & More, for my bedroom. Delivered within a few days and the whole process was stress free, which is welcome these days!

Superb Quality and Service
I don't often write reviews but I can't fault the service and quality of the 'Felton Oak And Light Grey Painted Blanket Box' I purchased for my bedroom. I ordered it and it arrived less than 24 hours later, well packaged and the quality is great. I was a bit nervous about ordering from a company I hadn't previously heard of but wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

Very poorly made
The cupboard was well packed but where a dowel was fitted into a bar the wood had split and a large section of wood was broken off. On the same bar there were the ends of staples protruding to the outside which we not only unsightly but dangerous. The vertical wooden post between the drawers was very wrongly fitted and nowhere near vertical making the closed draws look awful. Two mitre joints were fine, the other two had large gaps.
Very disappointed. Compared to oak furniture I previously bought from another company this purchase was a big mistake. I won't be going back to Oak and More.

Purchased..the Charlton bookcase and sideboard..arrived damaged. Poor customer care.
Purchased..the Charlton bookcase and sideboard..the two delivery guys left the bookcase in my front hallway.. with front door wide-open, that only just fitted it in..we had to take cardboard off to get it into the front room ourselves..when we managed to put it in place..it has a large noticeable mark on the back..(looks like it's been repaired and re painted) the sideboard had defects on several parts of it..and the door is all broke/split. It was filthy inside as well..sawdust all over shelves, no care at all taken.This was 3 days ago..I have contacted the company once by telephone to get a reply saying we will be in touch no opology or explanation..when asked when he said won't be anytime soon!! I have been trying to speak to them on live chat..there's noone there..and I have still had no reply.shocking service..very disappointed..I was months deciding on where to get my furniture and months waiting for it to arrive..to get faulty goods and poor service...I'm taking this further now.

We would also like to apologise for the manner of the communication you received. It was certainly never intended to come across that way. As your delivery took place on a Sunday, and Mondays are our busiest day for customer enquiries, we do ask customers to bear with us while we work through any service issues and respond to cases in the order they are received.
We understand how frustrating it must be to have spent so much time choosing your furniture and waiting for delivery, only to discover damage and quality concerns upon arrival. The issues you have described with both the bookcase and sideboard are not the standard we strive to achieve, and we sincerely apologise for the disappointment caused.
For clarity, our colleague Val did email you yesterday afternoon, prior to this review being posted, to request additional photographs so that we could investigate the matter thoroughly, and this e-mail may have gone into your junk folder. Since then, our Customer Service Manager has also spoken with you directly to provide reassurance that there is nothing to worry about. As advised, you remain fully protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and our priority is always to ensure that any customer issue is resolved fairly and promptly.
To move things forward, we have arranged for replacement stock of both items to be quality checked by our warehouse team. Once these checks have been completed, we will provide photographs for your approval and arrange an exchange as quickly as possible.
We appreciate your patience while we work towards a resolution and thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We remain committed to resolving this matter and restoring your confidence in our service. We hope that once all is resolved, your overall experience will be far more positive.

An excellent service from an excellent company. Easy to identify what we needed online. Full accurate description. Very easy to order and pay for. Realistic timeframe for delivery which was then brought forward. Superb communication throughout, we knew exactly what was happening and when. Great delivery company used.
