I am unimpressed by the recent reduction in distribution rate for Premium Bonds. Sends the wrong message to investors. The fixed term Savings Bond rates are also not very competitive.

Highly recommend NS&I for savings and premium bonds!
Putting our money in a NS&I Direct Saver account is the best move we could possibly have made. The interest rate is significantly better than what we can get at any other bank, and best of our, our premium bond winnings are automatically directly transferred into our account, we need not do anything. We are very pleased to say the least! Highly recommend NS&I.

Unacceptable delays following bereavement.If your relative is approaching end of life ,get them to withdraw their funds and put them in the bank otherwise you will wait months .

very easy to do online - great, but sadly if you want to sell newest 1st, which makes sense if they are not in the draw yet, you have to do a clunky postal form and often the certificates cover more than you want to cash in, so do you send them or not?

Would be 5 stars if I could choose which bond to cash when I draw money out. The online. System automatically chases in oldest bond whereas I’d prefer to cash in newer one.

ISA transfer
As ever it takes a while to get past the autobot answering the call. When I say I have a query about an ISA transfer, it simply parrots the rules for depositing money in an ISA. Eventually I get to speak to a person. They do their best to be helpful, but when the query needs answering by the ISA team they are unavailable. Add to this, the reason for ringing is delay on their part in dealing with a transfer out and they claim not to have received the other provider's initial letter.
