I am unimpressed by the recent reduction in distribution rate for Premium Bonds. Sends the wrong message to investors. The fixed term Savings Bond rates are also not very competitive.

I find it appalling I have so much money sitting in premium bonds in my name my husbands name Dave Marshall and my daughters name Charlotte Marshall and we collectively win so little. I will be withdrawing soon and investing my money elsewhere.

Helpful and knowledgeful staff made it easy for me to purchase more premium bonds though there are a few niggling difficulties using the app regarding pressing the back key which cuts the user off even though they haven't actually pressed the back key. NS&I kindly gifted me £50 to compensate me for this inconvenience.

Of course, the world would be a better place if money were illegal. But given this necessary evil NS&I do it about as well as theoretically possible (in the spirit of ?Joey on Friends?, if “you’re going to do it wrong, do it right!”)
