Great and attentive service
I had a great experience with Nova Legal handling the conveyancing for my flat's mortgage renewal. Kavindya Ratnadasa and Sumaiya Shabdeen were excellent supporting me from start to finish, communicating and responding quickly by email and keeping me updated through all of the different stages, making everything really clear. They were attentive too, following up with calls to explain anything I was unsure about, and always happy to escalate my questions to the right people. They also helped manage some difficult stakeholders on my behalf, which took a lot of pressure off. I'd happily use them again and would recommend them to anyone going through a mortgage or remortgage.

House purchase
Asjaadh and Anjalee did a good job in helping us purchase our new house. There were a couple of small hiccups along the way, but the conveyancing work was carried in a quick, professional manner and they were always very courteous and informative on the phone.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!
ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!
My sale and purchase collapsing days before completion due to complete incompetence. A loan against my property was/is supposed to be ported to new purchase property. This was flagged, questioned and confirmed with them multiple times throughout the process then 6 days before completion they deny all knowledge of its existence! Thankfully I have paper trail but that's not gonna help me at this point. I'm probably gonna have to pay an £8000 loan taking money earmarked for a wheelchair accessible vehicle and urgent repairs on new property. It's also likely to delay completion meaning the loss of £1200 removal costs paid to secure date. I'm beyond devastated as this could actually collapse and it will be the end of me. No words (that I can write hear!) I'm still hoping they can salvage this. Hopefully they do and I can update review...watch this space

Amazing service from start to finish
Amazing service from start to finish, my handler was Sumaiya and my solicitor was Aaqib. Both were so easy to deal with and very efficient. They both responded to my emails within the same day and they were only a phone call away. Everytime I called Nova Legal I would automatically be out through to Sumaiya, and I loved this, no transferring and having to repeat yourself multiple times. The online portal is very easy to use and always update with a mind map showing you start to finish.
Pushing back and getting certain enquiries chased on my behalf was very easy, they were always on my side and did the best they could for me.
Nova was very easy to deal with, they were always chasing the sellers solicitor and in contact with the real estate agent which made my life so much easier. I highly recommend Nova Legal.

I am writing this review specifically to recognise Omar Sarfars, as he handled our case with exceptional professionalism and kept us updated on a daily basis throughout the process. His communication, commitment, and professionalism were greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, my experience with Nova and the complaints team was completely different. Rather than focusing on resolving the issue, I felt that our concerns were not handled appropriately, and responses to our emails sometimes took up to two weeks. This made an already difficult situation even more frustrating.
I would like to sincerely thank Omar for his excellent support. However, based on my overall experience with Nova, I would not recommend the company and would not use their services again.
I genuinely wish Omar all the best for the future. He deserves to work for an organisation that appreciates his professionalism, dedication and customer service.

Good conveyancing company
I was a first time buyer and was given nova legal through Habito. Nova legal have been good. I had Sumaiya as my account manager, and she was great at providing updates over the phone and also following up with a weekly email update which I really liked.
Aaqib was my coveyancer, who was also really good at getting things moving quickly.
The only downside was the communication between the AM and the conveyancer, as Aaqib had to get re confirmation on details Sumaiya had already confirmed, so maybe internal alignment could be slightly better.
Overall nova legal has left me with a positive experience and I would use them again.
Thanks Sumaiya and Aaqib for all your hard work in getting everything sorted in 3.5 months, that’s a good turnaround!
