Be very careful before ordering – “30-Day Money-Back Guarantee” did not mean I could return my items

I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering from Noah London to read the returns policy very carefully before purchasing.

I ordered discounted items which were advertised on the individual product pages with a “30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.” I have screenshots showing this wording beneath both products I purchased.

The order was supposed to arrive on 3 August but did not arrive until 10 August. I had bought the items for a particular event and, because of the delay, I no longer needed them. I contacted Noah London promptly to arrange a return.

I was then told that discounted items could not be returned or refunded. Instead, I was offered 50% off another order.

When I pointed out that I was exercising my statutory cancellation rights as a UK consumer, I was again told they would not accept the return. I subsequently raised the fact that their own product pages advertised a “30-Day Money-Back Guarantee”, with no statement alongside it saying that discounted items were excluded.

I also asked them to explain the legal basis on which they were refusing my cancellation and to explain how their position was consistent with the Money-Back Guarantee displayed on the products I purchased.

At the time of writing, I have still not been provided with return instructions or an explanation that addresses these points.

My experience has been frustrating, but I am leaving this review primarily so that other UK customers know to look beyond the prominent “30-Day Money-Back Guarantee” and investigate the separate returns policy very carefully before ordering.

Where to start with this review, honestly I would give them a minus 5 stars if I could. Absolutely shocking company. Red flag number 1) tried to call the British number listed on their website, inactive. Red flag number 2) emailed reply in the early hours of the morning. Red flag number 3) the so called “quality control check” was taking longer than expected and they couldn’t dispatch the next day as stated on their own website. Red flag number 4) sent the order even after multiple emails asking them to cancel, no response to any of those emails. Red flag number 5) promised that they used Royal Mail as delivery service, in fact they used evri. Item arrived today and they are complete and utter garbage, not even in a box, the international shipping label almost hidden under the evri label. Have emailed asking for return label and have reported them to trading standards. Absolutely stay away from this shoddy company.

The name suggests this is a uk company you are dealing with.

It’s shipped from China. Overseas company operating it. Not sure how’s it legal that a company can add London to their name with no presence here. Non branded. The t&c’s in refund policy say no refund on discounted / sale items - not obvious at point of order. Had I looked on trust pilot before buying I would have spotted this. Lesson learnt .

I found you can but from the sandals cheap same ones that Temu sell for £12, I asked for refund same day as receiving item, the wrote back that sale item in there terms and condition say they don't refund, under distant selling laws they must?

This company acts illegally. Most items are in the sale at a small discount. If you do not purchase an item at full price they will not let you return it. In my case it was a pair of shoes which didn’t fit. This is against EU and UK consumer rights.
I have never negatively reviewed a company before. I wish I had read reviews for this company before placing an order. Do not be fooled by the website as I was.

Bought 2 blouses that took 1 month to come . These were to be high quality elegant items they are polyester
Neither of them fit are supposed to be the same size but nothing like each other. No tags no receipt in the package Phone number for help constantly is not receiving calls
Together they cost over £80
Have tried to return and get a refund seems impossible

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !
Based in Netherlands with trash coming from China taking weeks. No correspondence to arrange refund and you won’t get one.

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased a pair of sandals from this company. the description on their advert is incorrect - advertised as adjustable there was no adjustability at all so did not fit well. The materials are shocking and they are very poorly made. £29.99 paid so won't throw them away will use as gardening shoes. Dreadful response when trying to return. STAY AWAY!

Sandals are complete rubbish cheap Chinese crap not worth £3 let alone £30 a complete rip off very upset ,as they were a birthday present from my husband nothing orthopaedic about them .

The Shoes I bought are of very poor quality, do not fit correctly ( I am a 6) They will not allow you to return goods. I feel absolutely disgusted that they are allowed to get away with it.

Dreadful lies from start to finish. Awful product which isn’t that shown on the website. Not leather but plastic clogs. Wrong size and badly packed. Lies about product control holding up shipping, but when I requested a refund it had suddenly been shipped. Sadly, I’ve been caught like this before with Bondbristol and should have checked the reviews first. I know there’s no point in trying to return because promised refunds won’t happen.

Avoid this company at at all costs! Ordered a pair of men's sandals, which when they eventually arrived were cheap, nasty and bore very little resemblance to the goods advertised. Additionally, they were purchased as 'leather' when they were clearly plastic, with small inch long bits of thin suede attaching the plastic straps to the sole (also plastic). Requested a returns label only to be advised that I could not return the goods as they were discounted, but offered a discount as an 'offer of goodwill' against another order - Got to be Joking!!!! I have ticked 1 star because I couldn't choose a minus 5 stars - utter con merchants

The goods took two weeks to come, they were advertised as orthopedic sandals. They are not orthopaedic, look really shoddy and have no grip underneath so not suitable for walking. They were also too big. I contacted the company and asked for a refund as they were too big, received a reply stating that as they were discounted they were not eligible for refund (They were £26.99). The only thing they could offer was to send a replacement in the correct size at a cost to me of an additional £9.95. I said thanks but no thanks as the shoes arent worth what I paid for them in the first place.

They deserve -10 or worse.

• Not in a box so no protection.
• Both shoes creased down both sides
• Left shoe badly creased along toe
• Uppers very thin – not the quality expected for the full RRP
• No obvious effective support features

And now they are getting iffy about a refund. Will pursue it and if necessary get the bank to repay it after dragging the money back from them

Had exactly the same issues recently with a smart watch but followed the process and got my money back from the credit card - it was over £100. Not sure what my bank will do with this £29.95 order but initial call soounded promising, said to call back after 3 weeks if not arrived or damaged

Well! It worked! Bank very willing to get my 29.95 back off them, but a day or two after I posted this on here - Noah London refunded me in full saving the bank the bother. They also didn't tell me directly they'd refunded me - too embarressed I'd beaten them????

Don't give up - keep asking and complain, and get your bank/card on the issue

If I could give zero stars I would. This company are thieves hiding in plain site of internet online selling. The clothes they project online and what arrives on your doorstep beggers belief. I was to embarrassed to take my purchase to the charity shop. Poor quality merchandise doesn't even come close. They are not a UK company so don't be fooled by the name. You will not get a refund for the trash you have just spent your hard earned money on. Trading Standards need to step up to this company because they are defying UK law and selling goods that are not fit for purpose.

Which they wanted me to pay for the return postage
This company needs reporting to trading standards
They lie and after sales is horrendous
Do not buy from this company

The item took weeks to arrive. It was creased and bashed. They are nothing like what they are advertising. Wrong material, very cheaply made.
Very misleading website. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Absolute cheap rubbish. Shoes plastic made in China. Awful fit, wrong sizing guide and a complete waste of money. Wore for a day and couldn't wait to get them off. Chucked straight in bin. Refund? Don't bother unless you want to pay shipping to China. £32 wasted money. These nasty companies hiding behind cheap rubbish. Nothing orthopaedic about these at all. Save your money! Do your research unlike me! Lesson learnt!

There is a number 17 and a number 19. No 17 in this clearly residential area.

Clearly a scam website.
