I have now reported you to Trading Standards. You are NOT treating your customers fairly. By law you have 14 days to refund to the ORIGINAL payment method. I will be instructing a Section 75 charge back from my card provider if the refund is not received by 25th December 2025 latest.
For anyone reading this, if you have a problem that NCF Living are not dealing with, please get in touch with Trading Standards on 0808 223 1133 - they're really helpful.
Fair play to the sales team - they're great at what they do, but the after sales care is shocking!
The delivery team they use leave a lot to be desired. No consideration for property, came unprepared with tools that had flat batteries.
Customer Service? Honestly it's a joke - I think someone forgot to train the customer service team - good luck with actually speaking to NCF Living - they've even turned the messaging service off.
Where to start...
1. I was told their delivery service would be able to deliver within 1 to 2 days, after they'd received and CHECKED the goods - NOT TRUE - I wanted the delivery on the 5th of December, the sofa was delivered on the 11th. Not only that, I requested the afternoon slot (from 13:00 until 18:00), then received an email the day before telling me the goods would be delivered between 11:00 and 12:00, when I wouldn't be available. Eventually, the delivery company agreed to deliver after 13:00. Now, NCF Living told me that the delivery service would inspect the goods, before delivery. Why try to deliver a broken bed, not fit for purpose?
1. The base to the bed they tried to deliver was broken. I refused to accept. Tried to contact NCF Living several times by phone and email whilst the delivery team were still here - not a chance!
3. I sent an email requesting a full and immediate refund for the bed, which was 100% not fit for purpose (as was my consumer right), to initially being told that NCF Living had the right to REPAIR or replace - this close to Christmas, I don't think so!
4. After several emails back and forth, in which I had to remind NCF Living of my consumer rights, they agreed to refund (no apology).
5. I was told a refund would be actioned and processed on Monday 16th - didn't happen. I was expecting the refund yo be credited to my payment method (no chance) even though I believe this is standard practice for the industry.
6. I got an email stating a cheque would be sent TO THE WRONG POSTCODE.
7. I sent another email to make sure they would send to the correct address, and was asked to PROVE my address, which funnily enough is where they tried to deliver the broken bed.
8. At this point, I asked for contact details to make a formal complaint - I'm still waiting for the information.
Why should I have to wait up to 10 working days for a refund (especially with Christmas post)?
I would absolutely suggest that anyone looking to buy a sofa or bed (or anything else they sell) avoid this company at all costs!
I look forward to a response to this feedback, since Customer Service seem incapable of communicating.

HLOM6416 Order number, here I’m again having to put a bad review on behalf of my daughter ref NCF, after my 1st review as you will see they asked me to contact them directly with the order number which I did, 3days have passed and I’ve heard nothing, my daughter has been in contact with the Manager at the Hull store who in formed her that the mattress was with the delivery company and asked my daughter to contact them for a delivery date, they informed her that they don’t have the mattress, so my daughter rang the Manager again and he was disappointed that this was the case, however that’s where it stops, still no mattress communication stopped daughter still no mattress 3.5 weeks later, absolutely disgusting customer care, if she ordered a mattress from dormeo it would have taken 3 days, so again what are you going do about this situation? Also I’m assuming you are going to give this girl some sort of compensation, after sleeping on the sofa for 3 weeks whilst feeling really poorly.

Bought a 2 and 3 seater sofa from this company,first week of september and was advised delivery 8 to 10 weeks definately before christmas now told expected 29/12/25. Missed dates delivery dates 3 times DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Sofa delivered faulty.
Stupidly I spoke to one of the delivery people’s supervisor who assured me another sofa would be delivered and to use the DEFECTIVE sofa until a replacement is sent. I was upset at the fixed £80 for delivery and fitting price when purchasing however, this is my insurance as I’m sure I will have to take this matter further given that the initial responses I have had from NCF customer service BY EMAIL. I now have to provide photographs of the faults for the’ service and faults team ‘ to make a decision and I am now 2 weeks on. There is no decision, this isn’t a fault weeks, months on a warranty matter, the sofa was delivered faulty with cross threaded leg screws and sagging on the material.
There’s a reason I have always purchased high value products from Barker and Stonehouse, after sales are fantastic, the only contact with this company is by email, no contact by phone.
My advice DO NOT ACCEPT FAULTY GOODS and be wary with this company on the provision a replacement will be sent out, you will need to provide evidence for the ‘ service and faults team ‘ to make a decision . I can see my complaint rumbling on, not something I reckoned for and do not need the hassle especially over the Christmas period
First and last time I will purchase from NCF Living, as if you cannot speak to a service advisor about a complaint, more importantly they are undermining my rights as the product, delivered as allegedly new, is without doubt faulty and I have to justify my claim.
Will also be complaining in store to the Hull branch manager
