Good service during the sale but no response to issue afterwards.

Car arrived with damage to wing mirror, they asked me to get a quote then stopped replying when I provided two.

I purchased an Audi from Minster. Based on the advice I was given, I also purchased the “Family Bundle” for over £1800, which included servicing, warranty, paint protection and breakdown cover.

Unfortunately, the experience since the purchase has been extremely disappointing. The aftersales service has been disorganised, unresponsive and has fallen well below the standard I expected.

After becoming concerned, I took my vehicle to an Audi main dealer. I was informed that the service package provided by Minster is not carried out in line with Audi’s manufacturer service schedules and cannot be recorded on the vehicle’s official digital service history. As a result, I have been advised that continuing to use this package could invalidate any remaining manufacturer warranty / recall or technical bulletin works.

The warranty included in the package is provided by an external company, Protego. My experience with them has been equally poor. Any claim is simply dismissed as “wear and tear”, leaving the warranty offering very little practical value.

Overall, I have been left more than £1800 out of pocket on a package that I cannot use. To make matters worse, when I raised these concerns with the Operations Manager, I was just ignored.

I feel completely misled by the value and suitability of the package that was sold to me. I would strongly advise anyone considering these additional products to fully understand what is and isn’t covered, and to verify whether the servicing complies with the manufacturer’s requirements before purchasing.

I am extremely disappointed with the aftersales support and the lack of accountability shown when I attempted to resolve these issues.

So thanks to Jordan and the team at Minster, a new car should be enjoyed not be a burden.

Had an awful experience. We arranged an appointment to view a car it's was disgusting, covered in dog hair inside and filthy outside. The car had also been sold and returned already after a week. The salesman lied and said it was due to range anxiety, it was actually as the car was faulty. I was also told there would be a free battery check, I was then told it would be 100 pound and I would have to pay upfront for it. When we discussed money they kindly added on a 5 year service and mot plan and 3 year warranty then extended the term so the monthly payments were the same.. Really crappy way of working. When I asked for a copy of the proposal I was given a written scrap of paper

I have spent 12 years as a car salesman, 10 years ago and was looking to buy an EV a Tesla with what a could afford, after months of looking a came across Minster motor group who had in stock a Tesla model 3 long range 2021 which was the exact car i was looking for and at a better price than anyone else in the UK, seemed to good to be true i called the sales team and was put though to Ruhan who was beyond helpful very open i asked him some questions about the car and he told me he would find out all the info and call me back 10 minuets he was back to me with all the answers and an honest account of the car which had only just come in as it was not prepped i paid a deposit and he sent me a video there and then , i was due to go and see and pick up the car but was let down by my lift and as the Garage is 200 miles away from me, it left me at a loss as to how to get to them, Thanks to Ru for his patents' i decided to pay in full and have it delivered this was a worry for me as i had not seen the car or test drove it and they where 200 miles away if anything went wrong , i would like to Thank Kate and Shawn for all there help all of the staff at Minster motors seem to have this way of putting you at ease and are a very helpful nothing is to much trouble the car was delivered on time and wow it was better than i was expecting very well cleaned and presented every thing as spot on i have had the car for over 2 weeks now and it is perfect no issues at all Ru has taken the time to contact me 2 days after it arrived and spent over an hour making sure i was happy this dealer is worth your time and money there delivered above and beyond what was expected well done Minster motor group there are a lot of traders that could learn a lot from you the service is 10 out of 10 and i will be back to you for my next car with no hesitation you can trust this dealer

Amazing attentive service when buying my 2021 Kia e-Niro, great until you have an issue.
Jay and Katie sold the car to me as an ex-lease with full service history. I flagged missing service stamps, but they advised it’s all recorded electronically on the Kia service system. Six months later, Kia declined warranty repairs for an inverter coolant issue due to a lack of stamped history, stating they do not have a centralized record of company service history.
The car was completely mis-sold to me and misrepresented at the point of sale.
Jay, now the new sales manager, agreed to find an identical car to replace it but has completely ceased contact at this time. You have been warned, avoid!

Great service by Neil Annan, a nice man, no pushy sales tactics, very patient. We got ourselves a lovely EV, there is a fantastic choice of beautiful cars. I'm deducting one point from this perfection for how the charger was sold. If you're new to owning an EV and are enquiring about their charger, a zappi glo, and are told, that they'll sort it, somehow we thought that they would arrange installation, not give us a box with it in at the point of sale. It wasn't clear, otherwise we may have shopped around, as it's often easier to find a licenses EV charger electrician who provide their chargers, often at a much lower price. Our ignorance mixed with little information from Neil made it all a bit confusing and added more unexpected expense. The other point that I found tricky were the entrance steps, grey slate type without a banister, against black walls, and somewhat slippy when damp. I exited the sales room and flew down the steps landing badly on the pavement. So if you have knee or mobility troubles of any kind and prefer something to hold on to, ask if you can enter or exit the sales room through the side door. Neil helped me up and the manager came out to check if I was ok, but please just install some banisters and non slip tape on those steps. I've since been told that it happened before, so that's a problem. Still, overall a place worth recommending, but do watch out for the points above.

This was the best car sale I have had! Huge thanks to Katie, Chris and the team for their service. I felt well informed, not pressured and overall the experience has been fantastic. We drove almost 2 hours to get the car and they had everything ready for us to drive it away the same day. Would 100% recommend

I saw an Audi E-tron online that I liked the look of, not having much luck locally with other used car garages Carsa, I decided to give these a call, even though they're further away.

Jordan was great in the phone, he asked about the part ex car I wanted to sell, what I'd been offered previously and what deals I had been offered.
He then smashed them out of the park with a much better deal.

I had the part ex taken care of, 3 year warranty, 3 year breakdown cover, and ceramic coating, as well as supplying the new EV charger.

Viewed the car, loved it, and drove away in the same day as viewing.

I purchased a car from Minster Motor Group in Hull last week, I can honestly say that Connor was absolutely amazing with great service and nothing was too much trouble. He re-arranged all the showroom, getting the car out that I had seen so I could test drive the car, he sorted all my part exchange out for me with my old car, and also sorted all my tax out.
Connor gave service with a smile, was very polite and nothing was too much trouble. I test drove the car on Monday and arranged to exchange and pick my new car up on Thursday, and that was only due to my working hours, as Connor could have had the car ready a lot sooner.
I would highly recommend this car sale company, they have such an amazing stock of nearly new cars that are at very reasonable prices that wont disappoint you.

Hired a van for house removal for the second time from this absolutely fantastic family company. Lisa organised everything, she was friendly, helpful and guided us through the process. We were given a great, clean van for what has to be the most cost effective way to move house. Nothing was too much trouble even entertaining our 8 year old grandson while we were sorting the paperwork.

Wow, I've been blown away by the level of customer service received from Minster Motor Group.

Travelled to Hull today, we love nearly 3 hours away, to pick up a car that I saw online.

Conner, the salesman, was fantastic from the point of my initial enquiry, through to today picking it up.

Communication was first class. I had lots of questions and was apprehensive about purchasing from such a distance, but Conner was quick and efficient to respond, sending lots of pictures and videos by WhatsApp.

The experience at the showroom today was fab. Conner didn't rush us and was happy to answer any questions.

The car was genuinely in immaculate condition.

Thank you for such a positive experience buying a car. Despite our distance from you, we'd definitely consider using Conner and Minster Motor Group again when we're thinking of changing our other car.

hired a small car and ended up putting twice the amount of fuel in when returning car because of faulty fuel gauge and they don’t refund any money for excess fuel even though the car was at fault, very annoying.

I couldn’t be more happier with the customer service and the delivery of the car Keeley and Jordan went that extra mile to make sure I came first.

On minster cars it states 7 day money back guarantee yes you get your money back less what they take for changing the name on the log book less the paper work you are surpose to sign rip off merchants don’t deal with them

I recently bought a Mercedes’ from them but changed my mind on it . I thought you had a cooling off period but not with them .They knocked off £450 just for it to sit in my drive for a week.will not be recommending them to anyone or dealing with them again
