Absolutely disgraceful to take nearly 12% on ALL transactions on top of an extortionate amount per KWh
Nowhere on their site does it state that they charge a 9.55% plus VAT on every transaction- don’t be fooled by the ‘0% fee’ under each payment method, this is to show you they’re being so nice and not charging you a payment fee on top of everything else.
If I had known my landlord had this electricity system in place I would not have taken on the flat. This is absolute daylight robbery.
Tenants- if you see these meters in a potential place DO NOT RENT IT

We had an issue with the meter that was showing errors. I called customer service, and they provided a code, but unfortunately, they couldn't resolve the issue. However, on the second call, the person named Vernon was very helpful. He stayed on the line with us to sort out the issue. I appreciate his time and assistance.

I topped up yesterday and hung up before the confirmation of my phone number. I messaged Metro PREPAID on WhatsApp. They got back to me straight away and we're able to give me the code for my meter. It was 23.30 at night. So helpful... very grateful

Put 10 pound on by debit card no code to my phone then put 50 on my debit card no code on my phone , I then phoned the help line 20 mins put on hold then watts app no reply at all shambles of a firm keep away

I am extremely unhappy with this service.
I am paying around £5 per day for electricity, yet the full amount does not seem to reach my meter. I feel like I am being overcharged and I have received no clear explanation or support.
I suffer from a chronic illness and have been left without electricity, with no emergency help or real customer support available. This has resulted in me spending nights in the cold and dark, alone, unable to sleep properly, eat properly, or function normally.
As I write this, I am sitting in a freezing room where I can see my breath in the air. I am putting money into electricity daily just to survive, yet I am still being left without power.
I feel like vulnerable customers are not being taken seriously. There seems to be no care or urgency around whether customers are safe, well, or even able to live in basic conditions.
I would not recommend this service to anyone, especially anyone with health conditions or vulnerabilities.

My assistant Faseegah was extremely prompt with response to my adding credit to a tennants meter, it can sometimes take 2hrs this took 2 mins. Greatly appreciate it
