I think memory books are totally amazing!
I have to admit that on my first attempt using the on-line system i didn't find it that easy, but you can save what you have done and keep going back to it. Once you get used to the system its actually quite easy to use and it's lovely building your book and making it individual for the person you have in mind.
I completed this book for a close family member who has dementia, i added lots of family photos, i added mostly pictures and less words as i felt this was a better option for the person i was completing the book for. You can however add text if you want to.
I did take pictures of very old family photos and they turned out better than i expected. I chose to group family members together on double pages, so it easier for the person receiving the book, it helps to make the family connections.
The quality of the book is incredible, it feels really robust and that's a huge bonus, the quality of the paper is very high and so makes your pictures really stand out. You have different backgrounds you can chose from and this makes your book look really professional.
Customer service is fabulous! I thought i had completed my purchase but i hadn't. Clare from Memory Books contacted me and asked if i needed any help, which i thought was lovely, with Clare's help I completed my purchase and Clare went out of her way to ensure the book arrived on time.
I gave the book to my family member on their 80th Birthday, without a doubt it was the best gift they received....We have shown various family members photos of their pages and everyone loved the book...
I will be back making more books in the future.

Having made a Memory Book for my parents as a gift for their Golden Wedding Anniversary, I can honestly say that I have experienced a first class service. Clare was extremely friendly, helpful, responsive and very accommodating of all my editing needs! It was easy to navigate the website and compile the book and the final product was high quality and very well finished. The book itself was truly amazing and my parents enjoyed looking back and reminiscing over their 50 years together...they were so touched. A lovely keepsake which marks a fabulous milestone. I honestly think this is one of the most thoughtful presents I’ve ever received - in fact I had a tear when I opened it. It’s so much more than a photo album it reads like a complete story book of our adventure in Northern Ireland. The pictures are amazing and it’s finished to a high quality. It arrived well packaged and it’s so good to have all our photos and the story in one place. It’ll be much treasured for years to come and perhaps for the next generation too as a memory of their mad Aunt.

I created a memory book for my colleagues 60th which she absolutely loved. The website was generally easy to use. There were a few technical issues to start such as not been able to delete a photo template on a couple of pages but I got an email from Memory Books asking if they could help me. The contact who emailed me was amazing and so helpful throughout the process giving me guidance as needed. She even proof read it for me at the end. The text was really small when working on a laptop so it was difficult to read but it printed out the correct size. Working on a PC was easier as you could read the text better. I definitely will use Memory Book next time I create an online book. It was so helpful having a person email me offering advice as needed.

I cannot recommend Memory Books highly enough. Once you worked with the software for a while it was pretty easy to get the hang of it. I loved that you can add anything onto the page that you want - text, photos, pdfs, jpgs. So much more versatile than many of the online photo books available. I was able to make a wonderful 80th Birthday Book for my mum with messages - large and small, photos, drawings, birthday images from family and friends. It was the perfect lockdown present as she couldn't have a party as she had planned so everyone was still able to celebrate virtually with her via the book! Clare at Memory Book was amazingly helpful and really quick to get back with any queries. The printer proofed it and came back with some queries to make sure it was perfect. So so impressed. Thank you.

I was absolutely amazed with this company, we was able to make a life story book for my daughter Ariya, from birth up until now, personalise it, change the layout, add pic, write personal quotes, its really fab. Also you can make any book you chose, recipes or even a wedding album. I would highly recommend this company.

I absolutely love my memory book! It was so easy to make and I was able to really personalise the design and layout of each page. Wonderful Christmas present to my family! The book arrived really quickly and looks brilliant, seems good quality and the photos have printed beautifully.
The software to design it was really easy to use and I love the fact that it looks like a family tree kind of as you go through. The only thing I found slightly tricky was changing the size of the text (might be something for the next software update?) but overall the process was easy and the book was reasonably priced and great quality. Would 100% recommend and use again!

I made a memory book with a friend after a joint holiday and I am so pleased with the result. It is so much more personal than the usual photobooks I have used in the past thanks to the option of adding one's own text and a lovely way to free favourite photos from the abyss of our phones. It is a quality product with hardback cover and thick paper. I will definitely do more of them.

Great site for creating a family history book. I was able to combine stories, facts, photos, certificates and the all important tree itself. I was struggling to find a platform which was easy to use and which enabled me to do text, photos and diagrams. This site worked a treat and I was very pleased with the book. Nice thick covers which will protect the history for generations. One tip, if your photos are old and grainy don’t try to enlarge them - leave them the original size.

This has been a fab opportunity for me to pull together all the great photos and memories made on our holiday in Thailand.
Once I had got the process under my belt It was really easy to set out our journey in photos and write up where each photo was taken and what it meant to us.
A really quick delivery of the finished book which we loved and makes us smile every time we look through it.
Will be looking to create a new memory book of our next adventure - when we are finally out of lockdown :o)

Absolutely love it. It's so wonderful to have a hard copy of Mums' memories in a book with all those photos that have been sitting in old albums and her computer, really touching to see it all together. It brought back loads of memories just going through old physical copies of photos and scanning them in, together with adding the digital photos and text.

The quality of the book is fantastic, the hardback cover is sturdy and the paper is a lovely heavy weight. Service was fantastic. Overall, absolutely thrilled with it, thank you!
