I spent $65 for a 60 second…

I spent $65 for a 60 second conversation with the doctor just saying I need to go to the ER. I actually went and they said I didn’t have to come in to the ER. At just over $1 a second I consider that money well spent!

This service was fast and affordable

This service was fast and affordable. Although I did request a video chat. I received a phone call instead. And the price advertised is different once you get into making your appointment. The Dr. did read and study my symptoms before calling so he had advice and questions ready. Repeated all information back to me so that I knew my options and plan of care.

Your customer service staff is unprofessional

Update: I received a call after my review, which I really appreciated. The woman (not sure if she wants me to reveal her name and/or title) apologized and could understand my frustration after listening to my calls. So I’m leaving my original review below. But I am increasing my stars and would consider using them again.

First of all, the doctor was amazing. She was warm, friendly, professional. She asked me questions, listened to my answers, and was sympathetic to my pains and concerns. She told me in my call that if the antibiotics didn’t work in 2-3 days (she specifically said give it 4 doses), call back and get a different antibiotic. After that, I would have to go somewhere to get checked out. Fine. So I call the support center when I wasn’t getting better. The help person, a woman, said she’d reach out to my doctor and then call me back. She calls me back and tells me it’s memd policy to direct me to a doctor that can physically see me. I’m upset but say ok. But I realize I have questions for the original doctor since I asked her questions assuming I can talk to her again. I call back and this is when I get upset-THE WOMAN WON’T TAKE MY CALL. She has some other person repeat the policy without even listening to what I’m asking for. I tell the man I want to ask her a different question and then she gets on the phone and almost immediately puts me on hold. Then she tells me a supervisor will call me back. After listening to your policy yet again, the supervisor finally sets up a time for me to talk to the doctor.
I would like to note that after talking to the doctor (again, she was awesome, Dr Dana), she AGAIN offers me a different antibiotic even though the support person and supervisor told me that wasn’t allowed.
So after wasting several hours on the phone and not getting the proper antibiotic, the doctor still went against policy twice to try and help me-what she’s supposed to do. Also, I did need to see another doctor.

So easy to use

So easy to use! Great care - I picked up my prescriptions from the pharmacy and my eye was back to normal in a week. I'm very happy.

Weird, but it works.

I’ve never had to wait very long to talk to someone and that’s nice. One gripe is the lack of consistency in expectations. I went to refill a prescription and I was told I’d have to take a physical first. I asked if the physical I’d recently taken for work would count and I was told yes. I followed up a couple days later after not hearing anything and they’d just closed my ticket without saying anything. They re opened it, said they’d gotten my work physical results and could get me refilled. They said I HAD to do a video chat since I live in Arkansas. The doctor ended up just calling me on the phone and said I didn’t have to do video chat all. He renewed my prescription in less than a minute. It was surreal the amount of hoops I had to jump through for a 45 second conversation.

This was great

This was great! Didn’t want to go sit in Doctor office or Clinc with all the sickness and they doctor call right away and got me on my way to feeling better! Would recommend this to my friends and family! Thanks agin!!

The doctor was of no help.

The doctor would not listen to my needs, which was an antibiotic for a sinus infection and bronchitis. I had prior tried to call my PCP for 2 days (he has given me antibiotics for the same symptoms) and was unable to get through, so I tried MeMD and was very disappointed. I continue to have symptoms but my money was spent at MeMD, for which I have asked a refund so I can go to my PCP. I was told it would take 3 days for them to respond, it is now 14 days.

I have used this probably about 5…

I have used this probably about 5 times. The first time they were great but the last 3 have been a waste of money. Each of the last three times the doctors didn’t seem to listen. They wanted to get it over with.

It seem to have taken over an hour to get a response and even then my conversation with the doctor was less than 5 min

I have used MEMD many times

I have used MEMD many times, they are always professional and treat you promptly. My last visit was very thorough and the dr I spoke with was one of the nicest dr's ever.

Total Waste of Money - for no relief

This was a total waste of money. After explaining to the doctor that I felt I had a sinus infection (and describing my symptoms) he went out to lecture me about how no one get sinus infections and I needed to use Afrin. Four days later I was able to talk to a real doctor and get antibiotics. I sure would’ve liked to have had relief four days sooner.

I will never use the service again or recommend it to anyone.

If there was an option for less than one star I would choose that option.
