Marshalls for plug plants -not likely !

My plug plants arrived today after 6 days in transit. Dry ,yellow,rolling around the container,and unlikely to last they were sent on the Friday before the bank holiday weekend by some nitwit so an extra day languishing around in the holds of that constipated delivery service Evri. I knew this would happen as Evri were due to deliver yesterday but didn't so I contacted Marshalls yesterday by e-mail. No reply of course. Never again Marshalls.
Refund acknowledged and received but don't use Evri and don't dispatch plants on a Friday.

Asparagus crowns

I ordered this product on August 2025 with the full understanding that it would be delivered in the spring. It wasn't delivered until the end of April,ING past when I would have expected to put it in. Only 3 weeks in and only 1 out of 15 crowns have actually done anything. Poor service

My sweetcorn plants wrecked in post twice

My sweetcorn plants arrived in an unusable state both on the original order and then on the replacement order.
The replacement order contained plants in a tray that were so immature they hardly had a root sprouting from the seeds. Their tray was loose in a cardboard box so during transit the box had been tipped and plants plus compost fell out and most of plants snapped. The plants clearly were not ready for posting out and should not have been sent.
In both cases the packaging was not good enough.

Excellent Alstromeria plants

I ordered 3 Alstromeria plants and they arrived very quickly, perfect packaging a d really healthy plants inside. I potted the plants the following day and all 3 are thriving and growing beautifully. Very pleased with my purchase.

Too small too transplant

Arrived quickly . Very Small plugs very disappointing . Some were even that small they had no root when planting. Struggling to grow.

Delivery service failed to deliver…

Delivery service failed to deliver first part of my order and the failed to deliver its replacement. Two stars for Marshalls quick refund for this part of my order but I remain doubtful that the second part will fare any better.

Absolutely horrendous for plant…

Absolutely horrendous for plant delivery in this area. Telephone calls to customer services not great then I followed up with emails. Will never ever order plants online again from Marshalls. I have also ordered seeds which were delivered on time and are now sown and thriving. Just need to apply the same level of competency and professionalism to the plant deliveries.

DAMAGED GOODS & IGNORED TWICE

I preordered brassicas. The first batch did not get delivered as they were damaged during transit. The second batch arrived in a smashed box, with soil coming out. On opening it the brassicas had all crushed together and come out of their pots. I have contacted Marshalls TWICE regarding this, of which both emails has been IGNORED.

My order was received 9 days over…

My order was received 9 days over delivery time. Manage to call customer service and sort things out. Plugs are very tiny but with good root system.

Perfect plants

Ordered nearly all my plug plants this year from Marshall’s. First time. Just received my last lot of plants (240) 😉. I will definitely only order from here in future years. Lovely plants well protected with excellent packaging. Received day after they were sent out.
