It’s a story that began in 1775, when Jonathan Mappin opened a workshop in Sheffield. His mission was to create the most beautifully crafted silverware for British society.
Over the immediate years that followed, the company expanded internationally with commissions from Monarchs around the world. Synonymous with excellence, craftsmanship and all things truly British, the company was soon granted a Royal Warrant by Her Majesty Queen Victoria in 1897.
The Company has proudly held a Royal Warrant to each succeeding monarch and currently holds appointments as ‘Jewellers, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths’ to Her Majesty The Queen and ‘Silversmiths’ to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.

Mappin & Webb Chester, should be ashamed, I went to enquire about purchasing another Rolex watch to be told that nothing available unless I wanted to buy a second hand one, it was all very dodgy and the prices quoted were well above the standard grey market pricing. I thought you were a boutique for new items keeping the new and trying to get customers to but over priced second hand. I left my details with the sales agent but I do not expect to receive a call. Disgusting

Great service and advice
I would like to tell all how good my experience at York Mappin and Webb has been.Tryed to buy my rolex watch in three shops now,once at Dundee then at Newcastle was told long waiting list.Met Danille who was brilliant told me she could try her best to find one .Could not believe it when she phoned and told me she had one.Danille was amazing and did her shop and her company proud.If only we could be treated this way everytime we buy an item.Any one looking for an item that they stock phone them first.

On Saturday we arrived at the store to collect a watch and were greeted by several members of staff in a polite and professional manor. The member of staff we dealt with was incredibly knowledgeable about our item and the whole experience was very person centred which resulted in in a purchase and one we would recommend.

Great customer experience
I’ve purchased a few items for myself and gifts for my wife from Mappin & Webb, and every visit has been a truly wonderful experience.
During my most recent visit to the Kingston branch, Keith from the Rolex department was incredibly helpful on my Rolex journey and shared some fascinating stories about the brand, making the experience even more enjoyable. Hopefully, I’ll be able to add one to my collection soon!

Excellent service at MW Gleneagles
Visited Mappin & Webb over the weekend to enquire about a new watch. I was looked after well by Robbie whose manner was polite and relaxed. He helped me decide on my watch, answered all of my questions and arranged for the watch to delivered to my home. It arrived the following morning which I thought was fantastic.

Wonderful staff!
During my recent visit, to the Glasgow store, I found the staff, particularly Wendy, Lorna and Luke to be exceptionally helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their product knowledge and advice was invaluable. Myself and my husband were both offered refreshments and were made to feel very welcome. The whole process was a pleasure and the staff were a credit to the Mappin & Webb name and reputation.

The smallest action can create a great impression
Even the smallest actions create great customer service. I popped in while passing Mappin & Webb in West Quay, Southampton yesterday. All I wanted was a couple of links removed from a watch strap.
Very attentive and welcoming, immediately dealt with my request and then advised no charge. Excellent.
