Overcharged and despite getting an email to say how to reclaim it isn’t as simple as contacting someone! If there’s an issue using Applepay please give a warning so we get the choice to use it or not!!

Quick journey

Quick journey, efficient toll booths. Not the cheapest road to drive on, but knew the prices before we set off. Services looked ok on the way past, but so far we’ve not used them. One day!

I had cause to contact the customer to ensure that a payment had been taken successfully. The operator put my mind at rest and also followed up with an e-mail with a receipt. Quality customer service!!!!

Double charge explained

A very helpful reply to my “double charge” question which explained the “holding” charge made, which was in addition to the actual amount. As you said, the “holding” charge was removed without me having to do anything.

Terrible system with no one manning the…

Terrible system with no one manning the booths. Not getting a receipt at point of purchase is a complete penny dodge and will never be acceptable.

Quick no quibble correction when the digital face plate failed was acceptable

Hi John. We're very sorry that we can't issue receipts at the booths, since we only charge you for the journey you make.

Each customer journey is charged by checking your entry and exit point so that we can charge less for shorter journeys. When you leave M6toll, our system can take a few hours to generate your toll journey and price, making it very difficult to present you with an instant receipt. However, your feedback will be noted and we thank you for sharing your thoughts -particularly if you received a quick response to your query.

I was helped out by yourselves

I was helped out by yourselves. I was sent on a last minute dash to the Midlands, paid the toll on the outward journey but didn't have enough for the return I was at the barrier wondering what to do, all was OK. I called the operations department, they let me pay later via a link: phew! That was a close one.

Overcharged

Payment... I paid £11.60 but the toll charge was £9.10. I emailed bit have had no reply.

Print the receipt at the machine at the time...

An absolute pain having to go into the website at a later date to find the receipt then find a printer to print it off for the accounts. It would be much easier to print the receipt at the time of paying at the machine....

The receipts are never on there when I have to search for them. Always have to send an email requesting them. Still waiting for 4 receipts requested three days ago.

They literally close highway just to make money impressive how people stand down and do not close this think 🤔 don’t we pay enough ?.

When crossing no invoice ,you chase as driver tbe invoice while customer service is as usually all from mommy brother or whatever ,incompetents in all aspects

I love having the Motorway to myself…

I love having the Motorway to myself ,quicker ,well maintained, dare I say more courteous drivers !
Easy to use.
One Critism class 1 and 2 mean a completely different thing Ie class 1 is not HGV its a motorbike !!
