LOULOU THE BRAND is an independent couture house from Bucharest, founded in 2012. We create made-to-order pieces for clients worldwide through our official website: loulouthebrand.com .
Founded in 2012, LOULOU grew from a Bucharest atelier that brought together master tailors, seamstresses, artists, and makers trained across fashion and fine arts.
Over the years, LOULOU designs have been worn by international celebrities, artists, and some of the most influential K-pop stars, and have been featured in publications including Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire. Our pieces have also been sold through respected luxury retailers and marketplaces such as Farfetch, TSUM, and selected boutiques worldwide. Today, LOULOU serves clients across more than 36 countries.
Please note that we are not affiliated with any other company, website, or store using similar names, including “Louloubrand” or other variations. If your order number does not match our official order format, it may not have been placed with us. Our concierge team will always be happy to help verify this.
Every LOULOU piece is cut, sewn, and finished in Bucharest by a small team of artisans who work with us year-round.
We do not hold stock because we believe in creating consciously. Our made-to-order model allows us to reduce unnecessary waste and produce each piece with intention, only when it is requested by a client. This is why production usually takes 5 to 10 working days, and sometimes up to 14 working days during peak periods. It is a slower, more responsible way of working, and part of what makes LOULOU an atelier house.
We offer complimentary worldwide shipping via DHL Express and FedEx, with delivery usually taking 1 to 5 business days once your piece leaves the atelier. Every order is dispatched from Bucharest.
Our atelier is open Monday to Saturday, 10:00–19:00 EET. Our concierge replies to every message within 24 hours, always by a member of our team, never an automated response. If we miss your call, we will come back to you as soon as possible. Behind every reply is a real person from our Bucharest atelier: thoughtful, hands-on, and deeply committed to helping each client with care.
We stand behind every piece we make. If an item arrives with a quality issue, or if something is not as expected, please write to us and we will make it right through a refund, remake, alteration, or another suitable solution. In most cases, we have been able to resolve concerns directly with care and fairness, and many of our clients have remained happy with their experience and returned to LOULOU multiple times afterwards.
For any remaining unresolved situations, our team continues to review each case individually and do our best to find a fair and appropriate solution.

I placed an order with LOULOU on 25 February 2025. I was told my order would be delivered in 3 weeks.
After about 1.5 months, I started following up because nothing had arrived. They told me that the fabric hadn’t been shipped to them yet and asked me to wait another 2 weeks. I waited, but there was still no dress.
From that point on, I had to chase them many times. Most of my messages were ignored. Occasionally they replied just to tell me to “wait a bit longer”, but never gave a clear answer or solution.
Later they told me they would refund my money and send me a complimentary dress as an apology. The dress eventually arrived, but it was very disappointing – the quality was poor and it looked nothing like the photos on their website.
As for the refund, I never received it. I kept asking, but there was no result. In the end I informed some of their partners about my experience. Shortly after that, LOULOU blocked my Instagram account.
As of 27 November 2025, I still have not received my refund.
Based on my personal experience, I feel their behaviour is extremely unprofessional and, in my opinion, very close to scam-like. I would not recommend ordering from this company, especially for important occasions like a wedding, unless you are fully prepared to lose your money and deal with months of stress and unanswered messages.
My experience with this company has been nothing short of appalling. I have been trying to obtain a large refund they owe me for more than two years, and their behaviour has been consistently dishonest, evasive, and deeply unprofessional.
They ignore every message I send from my own number, yet when I contact them from a different phone, they reply instantly — until they realise it concerns my refund. The moment the word “refund” appears, they immediately disappear. This is not an accident. It is a deliberate pattern that reflects a complete lack of integrity.
Their customer service is non-existent, their communication is manipulative, and their conduct is far below any acceptable business standard. I have reported them across every platform and authority available, and I’m far from the only one. Multiple friends of mine have gone through the exact same treatment, which makes it clear that this is not a rare issue — it is how they operate.
This company has demonstrated a level of irresponsibility and disregard for customers that is genuinely alarming.
For your own protection, do not purchase anything from them.
I really wish I’d read the reviews before buying from this company. It it clearly selling Temu/wish clothes at an extortionate price, and even put it down so it’s in the sale and that is their excuse for not refunding, I ordered what I thought was a beautiful skirt at £30 down from £75 it turned up like some cheap silk fake looking thing nothing at all like the picture. I will be taking it further until this scamming site is shut down, please do not order from them
The worst retail experience of my life. I ordered 2 dresses for over $2700. One arrived late, the other not at all. No acknowledgement, no apology, no attempt to make it right whatsoever. Also, the dress that I did receive didn't fit at all despite being "made to order for my measurements". It also looked cheap. When I noticed they never sent my refund for either the returned dress or the one that never arrived, I reached out to customer service repeatedly and they ghosted me. I had to dispute the charge with my bank. This company shouldn't exist- AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They should be ashamed of themselves. Nothing luxury about the products or experience.
QUALITY: Harsh fabric, caused skin irritation
RETURN EXPERIENCE: After LOULOU acknowledged the return request and collected the items, LOULOU has become EXTREMELY inconsistent with communication. Initially, they claimed they had not received the returned products. After checking with all delivery parties and providing proof of return, they then admitted they had the items. Although they promised to process the refund, it still has not been issued. This feels incredibly dishonest, as they failed to fulfill their own assurances.
I have been diligent in following up, checking every two days, but their responses have been lacking. The last communication I received was on September 30, where they assured me that the refund would be processed within a week, but that has not happened.
I don't recommend LOULOU. This has been a terrible experience.

I’ve been waiting almost 1 month now for a cardigan that cost £38 and should have been delivered within 5 working days. Contacted their customer service who have fobbed me off with one excuse after another. They are even refusing to now cancel my order and refund me. I seriously would not recommend this company to anyone !!

I can't believe I was so stupid to buy sth on this fraud website. I paid 475 euro for a hoodie and shorts set and when there were no delivery notifications, I started to suspect that something is wrong. I wrote them 3 emails and NO ANSWER.
I checked Trustpilot and here you go: a total scammer! I've reported them to shopify and my bank and will go and report them everywhere I can, pls do the same. GPTChat will tell you how.
Update: The brand has finally replied after I made a claim to my bank and Shopify. You can see their explanation below but I hardly believe it cause I wrote them several emails and tried to reach them via a website chat on several occasions, there was no reply till they were pushed to it.
I have indeed got the refund but first they returned only 130 euro out of 475. I had to write them back to ask for the rest which they then returned.
They sent me couple of photos of the set I wanted to buy on another "client" and I have to say I am glad I didn't get it in the end.

I ordered a $400 sweatshirt with what looked, in the advertisement, to be these beautiful jeweled drawstrings. When I got it, it turns out they are glitter and plastic glue onto felt circles. Just terrible. They should be ashamed to market themselves as a luxury brand.
they have AI photos on their website. so many scammers everywhere these days. i wished someone punished them and they are in romania… horrible people

I ordered from Loulou the brand 14 months ago few items,I never received anything nor got a refund.
They keep dragging me but I am still struggling to get my refund. They are the best for ghosting customers.

NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY A SINGLE THING FROM THIS AUFULLLL COMPANY. Over a year now and haven’t refunded me. Have sent over 10000 messages and they have absolutely ghosted me. Same thing happened to my friend as well. I hope they lose all their money and go to jail! Disgusting company.
I ordered a dress in july for my wedding, but it got shipped. I asked to cancel to order and pay me my refund of 1000euro. Now it is 9 months later and after e-mailing and send messages through whatapp I still have not received my money back. Consumer service just don’t reply or it is the same message that I will receive my money ‘soon’. Soon is not 9 months. I will never get the dress or my money back…. Don’t order with this company Its scatchy!
