LOULOU THE BRAND is an independent couture house from Bucharest, founded in 2012. We create made-to-order pieces for clients worldwide through our official website: loulouthebrand.com .
Founded in 2012, LOULOU grew from a Bucharest atelier that brought together master tailors, seamstresses, artists, and makers trained across fashion and fine arts.
Over the years, LOULOU designs have been worn by international celebrities, artists, and some of the most influential K-pop stars, and have been featured in publications including Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire. Our pieces have also been sold through respected luxury retailers and marketplaces such as Farfetch, TSUM, and selected boutiques worldwide. Today, LOULOU serves clients across more than 36 countries.
Please note that we are not affiliated with any other company, website, or store using similar names, including “Louloubrand” or other variations. If your order number does not match our official order format, it may not have been placed with us. Our concierge team will always be happy to help verify this.
Every LOULOU piece is cut, sewn, and finished in Bucharest by a small team of artisans who work with us year-round.
We do not hold stock because we believe in creating consciously. Our made-to-order model allows us to reduce unnecessary waste and produce each piece with intention, only when it is requested by a client. This is why production usually takes 5 to 10 working days, and sometimes up to 14 working days during peak periods. It is a slower, more responsible way of working, and part of what makes LOULOU an atelier house.
We offer complimentary worldwide shipping via DHL Express and FedEx, with delivery usually taking 1 to 5 business days once your piece leaves the atelier. Every order is dispatched from Bucharest.
Our atelier is open Monday to Saturday, 10:00–19:00 EET. Our concierge replies to every message within 24 hours, always by a member of our team, never an automated response. If we miss your call, we will come back to you as soon as possible. Behind every reply is a real person from our Bucharest atelier: thoughtful, hands-on, and deeply committed to helping each client with care.
We stand behind every piece we make. If an item arrives with a quality issue, or if something is not as expected, please write to us and we will make it right through a refund, remake, alteration, or another suitable solution. In most cases, we have been able to resolve concerns directly with care and fairness, and many of our clients have remained happy with their experience and returned to LOULOU multiple times afterwards.

Ordered a dress looks nothing like the picture size wayyy off took ages to come and had no communication at all during the process emailed them to ask what was going on then got a order confirmation email and then the dress came later that day. £70 is ridiculous for what turned up. DONT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!!! Also trying to get a refund and they refuse refund as it was an item on sale even tho every item is on sale! SCAM

THE WORST EXPERIENCE.
1 Star – Avoid
If I could give zero stars, I would.
The dresses I received looked nothing like the photos advertised. The fabric was dull and flat, there were loose threads, and the overall quality was extremely poor. The bow detail was attached with a basic safety pin and did not sit or function as shown in the product images.
After researching further, I found that the product photos closely resemble images used by another retailer. However, the items I received did not match those images in quality or structure, which raised serious concerns about the accuracy of the advertising.
Although the website clearly displays a 30-day money-back guarantee on all items (including sale items), I was refused a full refund and instead offered escalating partial refunds (10%, 20%, 25%, then 30%) or store credit only.
I had to escalate the matter further to recover my money. I would urge others to do the same!
I would not order from this company again.

Absolutely awful. Do not order from this company. Very late delivery even though I paid for next day. Quality of clothing was terrible. Wasn’t able to return anything, was offered 20% partial refund and when I said yes was then told this was no longer available. Please don’t order from here and loose your money/ receive terrible clothing.

The company is a scam. I didn’t receive any order confirmation or updates although they had my contact information. Delivery says 5 days yet took 2 weeks. Then when the dress came it was awful quality and looked nothing like how it was advertised on their website. They take pictures from other websites who make the dresses that way and advertise it as their own when their products are nothing like it. They refused to let me send the dress back for a refund as they were apparently only “minor issues” and only offered me a 35% refund. Poor communication they just ended up copying and pasting their replies after a few emails. Disgusting company.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased some dresses for a wedding and for new year. Upon ordering it said delivery was 5 days. They took 3 weeks. My items were not delivered within the specified timeframe. As a result of this delay, the items were no longer required for the event for which they were purchased.
I contacted the seller on two separate occasions to request an update on the delivery. On both occasions, I was informed that they were unable to confirm when the order would be delivered. At that time, the order had not yet been dispatched, and I formally requested to cancel it. The seller refused my cancellation request and advised that I must wait for the order to arrive before the matter could be addressed.
The order was eventually delivered almost three weeks later. Upon receipt, I contacted the seller to request instructions for returning the items. I was then informed that the items were non-returnable because they were allegedly purchased during a sale period.
I would like to clarify that at the time of purchase, all items on the seller’s website were listed as “on sale” due to Christmas promotional offers. This suggests that the seller is using the “sale item” designation as a blanket reason to deny returns, regardless of circumstances.
My request was simply to return the items and receive a full refund.
I was happy to pay for the return postage myself and this was still refused. I will never buy from this company again!

I ordered a dress from Loulou in July 2025, expecting a premium-quality product for my daughter’s christening on August 31st. Unfortunately, the dress arrived with multiple visible defects — a crooked zipper, asymmetric seams, poorly attached decorative stones, and unfinished edges. It was completely unwearable for such an important event.
I immediately contacted the brand, returned the dress, sent detailed photos and filed several complaints requesting a refund. Despite numerous follow-ups and promises, I have still not received my money back to this day.
For a brand that claims to be luxury or premium, this entire experience is absolutely outrageous. I will pursue every possible legal avenue to get my refund, because this was a €1000+ dress and the way this situation has been handled is completely unacceptable.
Horrendous company. Ordered nearly a month ago and still not got my items. Getting sent an email every other day with different information it’s either a scam or they’re just so bad at delivering

Emailed for a return was told I Purchased the dresses in the sale window MY DRESSES WERE FULL PRICE - apart from a 15% welcome discount, and they use this not to refund your items !

Ordered a size 14 and the dress they sent must be about a size 18. Its too big and I cant get a refund or exchange. What an absolute joke. £45 down the drain. I am fuming. The quality isn't anything like the picture.

The day it arrived I knew straight away that I would not be keeping it as it is AWFUL. I contacted them straightaway and they said because it was in the sale they will not be refunding me… guess what all the dresses are in the sale so this must be their tactic. I’m just going to write exactly the same as other reviews I’ve now read on trustpilot! Unfortunately didn’t read reviews before ordering. Ordered 2 dresses on 14 jan received on 23rd. Extremely poor quality, threads hanging off & came from China which I didn’t know when odering. Please DO NOT order from this company. It will cost you to return.
Absolutely awful company! Dress arrived with a hole in and in the same bags as items from SHEIN.
I asked to return the dress and was told I could only receive a 10% refund! I said no I wanted all my money back. I’ve had 7 emails promising a refund in days, you guessed it no refund had appeared.
The shop has taken down their instagram page due to poor comments and they block the commenters from filling their new page! Awful shop, they have no intention of refunding me or anyone else. Don’t order from them
I ordered on 29 August 5 sets on an average amount 3000$. Today is 22.02 didn’t recieve neither my order, or a refund. So One star it’s a lot for this scam.
Awful company. Wished I read the reviews before I ordered. Took 2 weeks for the dress to arrive after being told it would be less than a week. The dress looks nothing like the website. Material quality is poor. I ordered for my wedding and would be embarrassed to wear that. I asked for a refund due to the poor quality to be told no refunds. I have been blocked on the Facebook page after leaving a bad review. The comments that they have written on Facebook couldn’t be further from the truth.

If I could give this company 0 stars I absolutely would. One of THE WORST fashion companies I have ever bought from. Gutted I didn’t read the reviews first. Their website is filled with misleading information. Items look nothing like pictured, your items will take over 2 weeks to come vs the 5-6 days they promise or express shipping they claim to have and you will find out that your items are coming from China only once you order. Don’t bother asking to return items or asking for a refund because they will never refund you and will come up with every excuse in the book to not return your money. Better off speaking to your bank.
