Harry and John , what can i say ...these lovely guys done a great job... the install was quick and they explained everything i needed to know ... what more do you want ...looking forward to a fast n speedy internet service ..
Great service from both Harry & Ben tonight, after speaking to them in street explaining that I was still waiting to hear when my broadband would be installed they popped round and got it up and running straight away, very helpful and connected the sky and tv for me
Few mistakes on install but Harry came and went above and beyond to get me online wish more were like him. Speeds are fantastic 10 times faster. Connected all my devices. Was unhappy now very happy

They tried saying I didn't request line rental but I had email proof. I asked for number exchange but I think we have lost that too.

Very good communication, punctuality and an excellent reliable product.
Lothian BB worked hard to get the cable to our property, requiring multiple failed visits and digs over a period of three months. They situated the modem in the corner of the house - I didn't really want it there for coverage within the house - but they said they'd provide free Plumes to compensate, so I agreed.
There remains a dip on our monoblock driveway where they dug, which we've asked them to fix multiple times - no answer.
They charged us for the supposedly free Plumes and when I queried the bill - no answer.
The data flows well though, very few interruptions.
Update 16th Nov - no change.

Service is intermittent and a little unreliable. Not really much better than the BT service I had before which wasn't even fibre.
DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

Terrible wifi,in one room it has great speeds but everywhere is terrible can even watch a video on YouTube without it buffering and we’ve been trying for a month to get it sorted and trying to get a hold of someone is a nightmare

The council accidentally cut my internet cable whilst trimming the hedges in front of my house. I called Lothian Broadband straight away and they were really helpful with setting up an appointment for the following week, but that still meant almost an entire week without internet. Both my wife and I work from home and have young children so this was going to be very challenging. Lothian Broadband said they would let me know if they had availability to fix it sooner. I was delighted when Callum (LB engineer) arrived first thing the next morning (Saturday!) and replaced the cable with great speed and skill. He provided a brilliant service, and also fixed the cut cable of my next door neighbour - thank you very much Callum!
Don’t go anywhere near this. Stick with regular mainstream suppliers

Exceptional service from John, Michael and Callum, who just installed our fibre broadband. Extremely professional, clear and polite. We have a big garden for them to go through and they had everything done and tidied up in the three hours as promised. As a bonus, John’s recommendation that we connect our existing BT whole home discs/mesh worked a treat. Simply shut off and unplugged the old BT router, restarted the whole home discs and attached one by cable to the new router. All our devices automatically recognised the previous mesh network name (the BT Whole home one) and no new passwords needed to be entered for any device/TV, even though it’s using the new Lothian broadband. Didn’t quite expect it to work so seamlessly!!

Two representatives from LBB, Kyle and his colleague, called at my home today to check on how I was getting on with the service.
After checking internet speed, which was running faster than expected, they also helped me out with a connection issue that I was having on one of my TV's. I've been very happy with the service throughout and the courteousness of staff members.
I would recommend LBBs fiber connection.
They installed everything neat and tidy and helped us with additional setups.
They arrived quick and installed everything in a timely manner.

Had major connection problems in July and was told to re-set my router. They informed me that no engineer was required even though I requested one. Still having continuing issues and held on for over 30 minutes on 9th September to speak to an advisor and gave up. When I managed to get an advisor on Monday they eventually emailed me the next day to say that I had 48 hours of continued internet and no engineer would visit me. I work from home and need this to work. I emailed requesting an engineer to visit as the fault may be internal but 3 days later, no repsonse. Very poor service and I know a number of my neighbours are experiencing issues which have not been addressed.

I’d say they were persistent in their sales push, coming to our door multiple times, to the point where we were hiding in the living room, pretending there was no one home. But once we’d decided to go with them they were great. They came round quickly to fit the cable and connect us up. The engineers were helpful and efficient and did a great job.
