Your engineers were here at the time stated this morning and carried out the installation in a very professional manner and they were very friendly and informative. Callum was the main engineer and I would recommend anyone to have the work carried out.
Callum and Sean came today , fitted my Wi-Fi, they were a hour early, and were really nice, they made sure everything was working well before they left, Thankyous

Had our fibre connection installed yesterday and the entire process was a breeze. Engineers were fantastic and kept us informed of the process as work progressed. Once the new connection was up and running all that was necessary was to connect our Asus mesh main node to the Lothian Broadband router via ethernet, switch the Asus to Access Point mode and we were connected. All our IoT devices reconnected flawlessly and the speed performance is fantastic. Only small criticism is that it would have been better if the external cabling was white (not black) to blend in with the white render on the house but nothing a bit of paint won't remedy! Overall, extremely satisfied.
Calum and Ben were brilliant, polite and professional. Need and tidy install. Looking forward to faster Wi-Fi. Amazing job guys

Just had my new Lothian Broadband installed by Connor and Mark. Install seems to be great just now, just took about 2 hours to complete. The installers were very polite and were great at explaining how the router worked and helped me connect a couple of devices without any issues. Hopefully the internet service is as good as the install.

Callum and Ben installed my broadband today. They were very polite and helpful. I have gone from getting about 50mbps download and 8mbps upload to testing at 785mbps download and 664mbps upload with the switchover which is fantastic especially for working from home.
Also, the day before the installation I was offered a year of free broadband which is a really nice deal.
Callum, Micheal and Connor did a fantastic job in torrential freezing rain went above and beyond.
John the engineer was 100per cent very quick and no bother to him really helpful thanks A McDonald
The installation team of Connor, Calum and Michael were superb. Very polite, professional and helpful. Explained to my wife and I the whole process. Quick installation on a cold and wet day. Highly recommend them. Hope you get this team. You won't be disappointed.

I'm sorry to say I agree with some of the comments about customer service. Despite repeated service reports my VOIP landline has been largely inoperative since it was installed, along with my (Highland Broadband) Lothian Broadband installation, 6 weeks ago. The fibre broadband seems to be fine (so far), but the underground installers broke a cast iron drain cover in the pavement, leaving a trip hazard which has been repeatedly reported. It is still broken - and I believe there are others like it in my village. When you split works into separate contracts accountability goes out of the window - in this case the non-english speaking installers were on a piecework rate (£ per metre), so weren't that careful or, apparently, willing to come back before moving on to other locations. It's not good service to be friendly, even charming, but ineffective. UPDATE: A week after my review, and the response that they wanted to resolve the matter as a priority, I am still waiting. I left another report on their service portal to no effect.

Callum was absolutely brilliant. Fixed our technical issue really quickly and brilliant customer service. Top bloke, hard working and very friendly.
Connor and Michael have just recently installed my broadband they’ve been ever so helpful , did a grand job and we’re respectful in everything they did. Tidy up as they went and gave all relevant information and also answered all my questions. Thanks again guys.
Callum installed our new fibre and could not have been more helpful. There was an external issue due to a blockage which they resolved quickly and stayed late on a Friday evening to get us up and running. Superb service so far.
I wrote to Lothian to advise I was moving within the area a month ago. I have had one call to which I responded to within a day. Since then nothing, and they have taken full payment for the next month even after I gave a months notice. I can’t get them on the phone and no one is responding to emails which I send every day or two. Shocking customer service absolutely shocking.
Update: so what I got was a call at 16:55 when I was unable to respond and clearly no action could be taken at that time either.
