Service was fantastic from the first call, to Scott and Garth installing. They we very courteous and neat and tidy and I now have 300mb up and down. Fantastic!
We reported a problem with our external cable and were very impressed (and surprised) to immediately get through to someone who could help on Easter Monday (no automated messages). A friendly engineer came out and fixed it within 24 hours.

I've been with Lothian broadband for a 9 months or so. During that time, I've found that when the lines are up, its great. However reliability is absolutely shocking. Internet is forever going down and offline. It also goes offline when no one is working. eg weekends, so there is no service until they all come back to work on Monday morning and reset everything. The staff are all very nice and pleasant, with regular courtesy phone calls, but what is the point when you've no internet?
Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Lothian broadband simply not ready yet.

Lothian Broadband made getting broadband put in easy. The people that came to install it were courteous and did the job quickly and efficiently.
Good customer service and installers came as arranged and were pleasant and helpful.
Everyone very helpful. Work completed quickly. No mess. Broadband seems very good so far
Only downside - would have been good to have been asked where we wanted the router.
I was guided through the process and the perks and refunds from my existing contract. The only thing I was not expecting is the 2 month installation process as each step was carried out by a different team - would have been great to set expectations about this from the start. Otherwise, a great bunch of people who are super friendly, from the office team to the installers themselves. I would definitely recommend them anytime.
Very easy and quick installation even if it took quite a few phone calls to chase for an installation date.
Took a while and three visits but glad I stuck with them. The end results are great - thanks ! ! !
Awful bad service. It's now 6 days since our internet went down and after calling them nearly 20 times, the handlers cannot tell us when the engineer will come to fix it. We asked to speak to a manager and the handler said she didn't know who her manager was. We've had intermittent outages for years now which have never been fixed. We've complained in the past and got nowhere. We were not aware until this week that what started as a community enterprise was taken over by a London based holding company whose only interest appears to be increasing their £180m property assets and not paying taxes. Their website doesn't even have a phone number to call. Avoid Lothian Broadband at all costs.

Had no problem at all with installation of Fibre Broadband from Lothian Broadband brilliant clean job from start to finish and now getting 310 mbps downloads. Thanks guys
the installation was very quick , no mess, and the staff were very polite, however my telephone could not be connected because they never sent out the plugin for the phone to work, i had to buy my own, other than that everything was great
