We simply went for a birthday cupcake expecting it to be free but was pleasantly surprised that I got a free cake. The cake was so good! I’m so thankful. Lola’s has been my go to cake place since 2020 and I hope you guys keep the complimentary birthday cakes to come 😊xx

From customer service (calling) to picking up the cake at my chosen location, everything was seamless and my son loved the football themed cake.

Cake was delicious and very nice ,however very small for a medium cake .
Cake was delicious and very nice ,
But for a medium cake . The recommended slices were not sufficient. More like a small cake instead.
I was quite disappointed with the amount of slices from the medium cake .
Left a few people with cake . 🙁
Especially as it was a very special occasion .

Antwort von Lola's - Lola's Westfield Stratford
Hello Jagadee,
Thank you for taking your time to share your feedback with us.
We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the icing and overall experience with our Red Velvet cake.
This cake uses a cream cheese icing, which has a sweet and tangy flavour.
We may suggest for you our other cake designs featuring either buttercream or ganache icings that you may enjoy more if you did not like the taste of cream cheese icing.
Please note as well that our cakes are typically stored refrigerated ahead of your delivery or collection. If you experienced difficulty with the cutting of your cake it may be that you have not allowed for the time needed to allow your cake temperature, as we recommend your cake is given at least 2-3 hours out of the fridge before serving.
We apologise again for any disappointment with your experience and will be sure to log this with the relevant departments for further review.
If you would like to discuss your order directly with our team, please get in touch with us at hello@lolascupcakes.com.
Kind regards,
Wesley
Wrong candle given
Had a pink themed birthday and purchase a pink candle but when I collected my order, there were no pink candles in stock.
Surely when I am placing my order, stock levels should have been checked, either in your warehouse or at the store of collection.
Had a replacement candle which didn't fit our colour scheme and wasn't used. Complete waste of money.

Hello Muzi,
Thank you for taking your time to share your feedback about your order.
Items such as candles should be packed at our central bakery with your order and we are very sorry to hear that this did not arrive to the shop for your collection.
I have now refunded the candle on your order and logged this issue with our packing team for further review as we into this to best prevent this from reoccurring.
If there is anything else that our team can do to help, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us directly at hello@lolascupcakes.com
Kind regards,
Wesley
Great experience
Had to make a change to my order and Lola’s helped it go so smoothly. There was then a slight issue on pick up but was handled so well and professionally. I was very impressed.

I would definitely recommend Lola's Cupcakes
I would definitely recommend Lola's Cupcakes. I recently bought a red velvet birthday cake for my partner and I have to say, it was delicious, everyone loved it! Tasty, moist and very well decorated, presented and packed. Very friendly lady at the shop when I went to collect it at Westfield Stratford. The only negative to me is that I think they are a bit pricey. £40 is a bit excessive as the cakes are not massive. Maybe £35 sounds a bit better. But overall, a good experience for a special occasion. I have tried their cupcakes before and they are also great and look spectacular.
